Abstract

Toko XYZ adalah salah satu toko yang bergerak di bidang pecah belah (houseware) yang menjual alat-alat perlengkapan dan kebutuhan rumah tangga. Pada toko ini ditemukan permasalahan mengenai pengklasifikasian produk dimana kurang dapat mengelompokkan produk laris dan kurang laris. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, maka dibuatlah suatu aplikasi untuk mengklasifikasi produk terlaris dengan menggunakan algoritma C4.5. Atribut yang digunakan adalah jenis perlengkapan, jumlah minimal, quantity, dan harga. Aplikasi diimplementasikan dalam bahasa pemrograman PHP menggunakan MySQL sebagai databasenya. Dari hasil pengujian menggunakan 437 data diperoleh nilai accuracy 91,53%, precision 27,77%, dan recall 17,24%. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa sistem memiliki kinerja yang baik dan algoritma C4.5 dapat diterapkan pada kasus klasifikasi penentuan produk terlaris.

Abstract

Memilih media pembelajaran online perlu cermat dan tepat sesuai dengan kemampuan pendidik dan kebutuhan serta karakter peserta didik. Aplikasi Google untuk pendidikan adalah salah satu media online yang banyak pakai para pengajar dalam melakukan pembelajaran online termasuk guru Sekolah Dasar. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui sejauh mana penggunaan GAFE (google apps for education) bagi para guru di SD Xaverius 9 Palembang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan 24 guru sekolah dasar sebagai subjek penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, kuesioner, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang diggunakan adalah reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian yang didapat adalah aplikasi Google sangat membantu dalam proses pembelajaran online. Aplikasi google yang paling sering digunakan adalah google meet, google classroom, google forms di mana sebanyak 24 guru menggunakan atau sebasar 100% responden. Aplikasi google yang jarang digunakan oleh guru SD Xaverius 9 adalah google slide, google calender, google doc. Alasannya beberapa guru tidak mengerti fungsi aplikasi itu dan sudah terbiasa dengan aplikasi lainnya pada Microsoft.

Abstract

Penyebaran informasi cepat dan akurat berbasis ICT di zaman modern ini sangat dibutuhkan termasuk dunia pendidikan. Saat ini penerapan teknologi informasi salah satunya Website Sekolah sudah menjadi kebutuhan sebagai media komunikasi dalam rangka meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan dan sarana pelayanan terhadap peserta didik. Tujuan dari penelitian yaitu menghasilkan website sekolah dasar. Model pengembangan dengan menggunakan penelitian menurut Hannafin dan Peck terdiri dari 3 tahap pengembangan yaitu: (1) tahap analisa kebutuhan yaitu mengidentifikasi masalah dan kajian pustaka. Peneliti melakukan observasi dan wawancara kepada responden untuk memperoleh kebutuhan yang diperlukan. Informasi berupa analisis kebutuhan baik pada sarana dan prasarana yang digunakan, media komunikasi sekolah, serta mengumpulkan jurnal yang berkaitan dengan pengembangan website sekolah; (2) tahap desain/perencanaan yaitu tahap analisis kebutuhan dipindahkan ke dalam bentuk dokumen. Flowchart dan tata letak antarmuka yang akan diberikan kepada pengguna dan melakukan evaluasi dan revisi berdasarkan tinjauan literatur; dan (3) tahap pengembangan dan implementasi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis kebutuhan bahwa perlu adanya website sekolah dasar di Xaverius 9. Selanjutnya melakukan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil pengembangan website dengan menggunakan CMS (Content Management System) Joomla. Fitur-fitur yang dibuat berdasarkan analisis kebutuhan. Selanjutnya diuji coba dengan melibatkan responden 11 orang. Hasil uji coba yaitu dapat memahami penggunaan website.

Abstract

A nursing home is a place where the elderly get care services to live out their parenthood. In the management of nursing homes, many activities are carried out such as nursing services for the elderly, family visit activities, receiving donor assistance, managing elderly contributions, and transferring the elderly. Most of the information about these activities is still referred to manually and some of it is processed using separate applications. The aim of this research is to design the database model needed by the nursing home. The database model design can later be used as a reference for software developers in building an integrated nursing home information system. The form of research carried out is in the form of case studies with data collection methods through interview techniques and documentation studies. Meanwhile, for the analysis and design of the database model itself, it uses Database Life Cycle (DBLC) method which focuses on conceptual database design, logical database design, and physical database design. The result of this design is a relational database consisting of 11 tables and 12 relations. This research is a development from previous research with the same type where the previous research produced 7 tables with 6 relations.

Abstract

Waste is a problem that occurs in many areas. Palembang City is no exception, which will contribute 1,180 tons of waste per day in 2023. One solution that can be offered to reduce the amount of waste scattered around is the existence of a website that provides map information and the location of Temporary Waste Disposal Sites (TPS). This website facilitates the retrieval of information regarding local waste disposal sites, enabling individuals to locate them swiftly and effortlessly, thus promoting the proper disposal of waste at designated areas. For website development, researchers will use CMS Joomla and the Phoca Maps extension. The design stages adopt RAD methodology consisting of requirement planning, user design, construction, and cutover. In the functionality assessment, accurate results were achieved for Map Search and locations categorized by Specific Area Categories and TPS Names. The results obtained from this research are that the website provides information on maps and TPS locations. Joomla CMS, along with the Phoca Maps extension, offers benefits in terms of convenience, affordability, and ease of managing maps and location markers. Additionally, this study presents an alternative perspective on the use of Joomla CMS, which is typically associated with text or image content usage.

Abstract

Learning media is an important part of learning facilities and infrastructure in schools to help students not only learn abstractly but also concretely. According to Faizal (2010), learning media as audio and visual instruments are used to help the learning process become more interesting and arouse students' interest in exploring a material. However, in reality it is often found in schools that learning media is very limited and not many teachers are interested and creative in making learning media. They are many reasons such as limited funds, time, knowledge, and the reluctance of teachers to make learning media. Therefore it is necessary to equip teachers in making easy and cheap ICT-based learning media. This training was given to teachers at the YPAC school in Palembang who were in great need. The targets and outputs of this activity are to produce simple learning media for children with special needs and to train teachers' creativity in making and using these learning media. The basic training by a team of lecturers at the SI and PGSD Study Program at Musi Charitas Catholic University is the first step to stimulate interest and collaboration between teachers to be more creative in making simple ICT-based learning media as well as expanding teacher knowledge. The training is provided in the form of basic training in making simple learning media for children with special needs and how to use them in learning. The methods used are lectures, questions and answers, demonstrations, and experiments. Hopefully, all participants have sufficient skills to create learning media according to student characteristics.

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah memberikan pendampingan dalam implementasi digitalisasi pengajaran dan pengelolaan peserta didik pada masa pubertas bagi guru di SD Xaverius 3 Palembang. Pendampingan dilakukan melalui serangkaian pemaparan materi, simulasi dan diskusi, dengan fokus pada peningkatan kompetensi guru pada penerapan digitalisai pengajaran dan penanganan peserta didik yang sedang di fase pubertas. Selama kegiatan, guru diperkenalkan pengetahuan baru dan diajak praktik mengenai pemanfaatan teknologi informasi yang mendukung digitalisasi pembelajaran, juga berdiskusi tentang strategi dan solusi pengelolaan peserta didik di masa pubertas. Hasil dari pendampingan ini menunjukkan partisipasi aktif guru dengan antusiasme dan respon positif saat melakukan simulasi dan diskusi. Berdasarkan hasil post-test, terlihat bahwa program ini memberikan wawasan baru, meningkatkan kompetensi dan keterampilan guru dalam menghadapi tantangan pada era digital, serta mendukung guru agar siap mengatasi permasalahan peserta didik pada masa pubertas.

Abstract

This community service program aims to support increasing the capacity of teachers at SD Negeri 124 Palembang in implementing deep learning approach to the learning process, as well as strengthening digital literacy and educational psychology. The program is carried out to provide support to schools because they have never joined socialization and workshop regarding the implementation of deep learning approach, also teachers still have limited understanding of the concept of deep learning, the use of technology and the application of educational psychology. The program activities include interactive socialization, practice in preparing teaching modules, and assignments. The results of the program show a significant increase in teachers' knowledge and abilities related to learning process through deep learning approach, the use of technology and application of educational psychology to design innovative learning.

Abstract

This Community Service (Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat/PkM) activity was conducted in response to the increasing number of domestic violence cases involving children, as well as the ongoing tendency of some parents to entrust character education entirely to schools. The program was carried out through an in-person parenting seminar at SD Indriasana Palembang on January 23, 2026. Attended by 38 parents/guardians of 1st to 3rd-grade students, the seminar discussed the characteristics of Generation Alpha, parenting challenges in the digital age, the importance of role modeling, positive communication, emotional support, and children's character building. The evaluation results showed that 86.8% of the participants found the activity to be highly beneficial. All respondents (100%) agreed that character education is a shared responsibility between schools and parents. The majority of respondents emphasized the importance of parental role-modeling, emotional support for children, and the cultivation of basic values such as honesty (76.3% strongly agreed), responsibility (71.1% strongly agreed), and politeness (73.7% strongly agreed). However, maintaining consistency in applying rules at home remains a challenge, as the proportion of those who "agreed" (60.5%) was higher than those who "strongly agreed" (39.5%). Additionally, 5.3% of the respondents have yet to support regular communication with teachers. Overall, this program successfully increased parental awareness and strengthened the synergy between school and home, producing a parental guidance module titled "Orang Tua Hebat" (Great Parents) as its output.

Abstract

Nowadays, with advancements in digital technology, the internet and social media have dominated daily routines, particularly LinkedIn, which has transformed professional interaction and development. With over 1.15 billion global users by 2025, LinkedIn offers various features for job searching and skill development. However, there is a gap between the number of registered accounts and active users, indicating challenges related to security and privacy. This study applies the Extended UTAUT 2 model in analyzing various factors that shape LinkedIn user intention and behavior. Through data collection from 243 respondents in Indonesia, the results show that Performance Expectancy, Effort Expectancy, Price Value, Hedonic Motivation, Facilitating Conditions, and Privacy Risk have a significant influence on Behavioral Intention and Use Behavior. However, the moderating effect of Experience is not significant. This model provides a deeper understanding of LinkedIn adoption and can serve as a basis for strategies to enhance user engagement.
