Critical thinking skills must be owned by primary school students to face the 21st-century learning era. It can be trained in schools by implementing a discovery learning model in learning processes. This research aims to analyze and find out how discovery learning effectiveness assisted by interactive video toward critical thinking skills of Social study for fourth graders. The research methodology was quasi-experimental research while the technique of sampling was purposive sampling. In this research, Public Primary School 02 Pringapus functions as control group which was intervened by discovery learning and Public Primary School 01 Pringapus functions as experimental group which was intervened by discovery learning assisted by interactive video. The techniques of collecting data were critical thinking skill question, questionnaire, interview, and documentation. The results of classical accomplishment showed that the result of control group was 54.84% with average score 70. Meanwhile, the experimental group obtained 96.67%, with average score 76.67. The results of n-gain score of control group was 0.34 while the experimental group was 0.42. Both of them were categorizeed moderate. The findings showed that discovery learning implementation assisted by interactive video was effective in improving social study critical thinking skills of primary school students. This research is expected to be basis of developing and improving social study critical thinking skills for primary school students.

Rasa ingin tahu merupakan salah satu pendorong yang menjadi cikal bakal siswa dalam mempelajari sesuatu. Sebab itulah, memiliki rasa ingin tahu sangat penting untuk dimiliki oleh siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan guna mendeskripsikan serta memberikan gambaran mengenai pencapain dari penggunaan model pembelajaran PBL berbantuan media video Animasi dalam meningkatkan rasa ingin tahu siswa kelas IV SDN Ranjeng. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah metode penelitian desktiptif kualitatif. Guna mencari gambaran nyata dilapangan, pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini dilakukan melalui kegiatan observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan kuesioner. Berlandasan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, dapat di tarik kesimpulan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran PBL berbantuan video animasi dapat meningkatkan rasa ingin tahu siswa sekolah dasar pada mata pelajaran IPA.

Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui strategi yang tepat dalam mengatasi pemasalah rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis dan motivasi belajar siswa kelas IV pada mata pelajaran IPS. Metode yang digunakan ialah metode kuantitatif dengan teknik penarikan sampelnya menggunakan purposive sampling. Pada penelitian, siswa kelas IV SDN I Kampung Melayu selaku kelas eksperimen diberikan perlakuan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran PBL dan siswa kelas IV SDN V Kampung Melayu selaku kelas kontrol diberikan perlakuan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran yang sering diterapkan oleh guru kelas, yaitu model pembelajaran langsung. Adapun pemerolehan data pada penelitian ini didapatkan dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan yang datanya didapatkan dari hasil wawancara, dokumentasi, soal kemampuan berpikir kritis, dan kuesioner motivasi belajar sebagai bahan penguat. Uji prasyarat dilakukan untuk menguji hipotesis yang sebelumnya telah diajukan oleh peneliti dengan cara melakukan serangkaian uji, yaitu uji normalitas, homogenitas, ketuntasan klasikal, uji beda rata-rata, dan uji n-gain. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran PBL dapat dijadikan salah satu model peebelajaran yang efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa.

AbstractThis research is motivated by the students’ low interest and learning outcomes in Social Studies subjects. This research aims to determine and analyze student learning outcomes in the 5th grade Social Studies subjects at SD Negeri Kragilan 1 on the material of the Struggle to Prepare for Indonesia’s Independence using the mind mapping learning model. This research uses a quasi-experimental method with the hypothesis that the improvement of students’ Social Studies learning outcomes using the mind mapping learning model is better than students with conventional learning models. The results of the pretest test data are normally distributed and homogeneous; in the hypothesis test, the results are -3.0110 < 1.67155, which means that H0 is accepted. After giving treatment to the experimental and control class, then post-test was carried out. The results of the post-test data are normally distributed and homogeneous, while the hypothesis test results are 2.1238 > 1.67155, which means that H1 is accepted. The analysis of student learning outcomes improvement in Social Studies learning uses the N-Gain test, with the results of the N-Gain test calculation for the experimental class getting an average of 65, while the control class is 47. In the hypothesis test, the results obtained 98.59 > 1.645, which means H1 is accepted. It shows that the use of the mind mapping learning model affects increasing student learning outcomes in the Social Sciences subjects.Keywords: Mind Mapping; Learning Outcomes; Social Studies

Canva is a platform used for designing and can be accessed via websites and mobile applications. Canva is designed with complete features and templates that make it easy for someone to design things such as posters, greeting cards, brochures, infographics and presentations in a short time. Activities carried out at the Sepring State Elementary School in Serang City include providing workshops/training to teachers. The method used in this activity is training and mentoring in learning media using Canva combined with the Important Performance Analysis (IPA) method for teachers at the Sepring State Elementary School. The evaluation results show that the teachers as training participants have made active efforts to understand the concept and implementation of using the Canva application in learning media. . The response from participants in making learning media using Canva for all evaluation components was very positive. Based on the results of training in creating interesting learning media using Canva to optimize learning for teachers at the Sepring State Elementary School, it was concluded that the training could increase teacher understanding and teachers' abilities in creating learning media.

The aim of this research is to increase student learning activities with the discovery learning model in science learning on the Properties of Light. This research is motivated by the fact that the learning models used are less varied, in the teaching and learning process, teachers have not been able to create active and fun learning, so that students experience boredom during the learning process and students do not play an active role, students still like to play alone when learning. The form of this research is classroom action research (PTK) which is carried out in two cycles. The research subjects were class IV students at SD Negeri 02 Tanjung Heran, totaling 27 students. Data sources come from teachers and students. This research aims: to apply the discovery learning method in order to improve science learning outcomes in material on the properties of light for class IV students at SDN 02 Tanjung Heran. This research shows that student learning outcomes in the material on the properties of light through the Discovery Learning method can increase. This increase can be seen from the results of classroom action research in cycles I and II. In cycle I, there were 10 students who completed the KKM or 37.03%. In cycle II, there were 23 students who completed the KKM or 85.18%, an increase of 44.45% from cycle I. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of the Discovery Learning method can improve science learning outcomes regarding the properties of light in class IV students at UPT SDN 01Tanjung. Wonder Ambarawa District for the 2024/2025 academic year.

Kemampuan menulis cerpen siswa sekolah dasar masih tergolong rendah akibat penggunaan metode pembelajaran konvensional yang kurang melibatkan siswa secara aktif dan kreatif. Kondisi ini menghambat perkembangan daya imajinasi serta keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa dalam menyusun teks naratif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis manfaat penerapan model Project-Based Learning (PJBL) terhadap peningkatan kemampuan menulis cerpen siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini merupakan kajian literatur dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek kajian meliputi tujuh artikel ilmiah terpublikasi dalam 10 tahun terakhir kemudian dianalisis secara konten melalui 3 tahapan yaitu analisis, identifikasi dan sintesis. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa model PJBL secara konsisten memberikan kontribusi positif dalam meningkatkan kualitas tulisan cerpen siswa, baik dari sisi teknis penulisan maupun aspek kreatif. Temuan ini mengindikasikan pentingnya optimalisasi penggunaan PJBL dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di sekolah dasar, sebagai strategi pembelajaran aktif yang mendukung pencapaian kompetensi literasi abad ke-21.

This research is motivated by the low critical thinking skills and learning interest of students due tothe lack of innovation in the use of learning media. Thus, the purpose of this study is to analyze the obstaclesand impacts of the minimal application of interactive learning media on students' learning interest andcritical thinking skills. This research was conducted at SDN Kubang Apu, where the subjects of the researchwere all fourth grade students at the elementary school. The type of research used is a descriptive qualitativeresearch method. The data collection technique was carried out through interviews, observations, anddocumentation. Based on the research results obtained, choosing learning media has a close relationshipwith student responses. So that optimizing the use of interactive learning media needs to be maximized inorder to attract student interest and provide a good learning impact. Packaging material in interestingcontent from interactive learning media can attract students' interest and activeness to be more focused, sothat students will be unconsciously challenged to be able to explore and criticize the presentation andproblems given in learning. The use of interactive learning media is certainly not free from obstacles, butthese obstacles can be overcome by maximizing the teacher's ability to explore its use and creation moreoptimally and regarding facilities, teachers can optimize the use of existing facilities that can be provided.Keywords: Interactive Learning Model, Critical Thinking Skills, Learning Interest

Penelitian ini berangkat dari permasalahan rendahnya capaian hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA), khususnya pada peserta didik kelas V di SD Negeri Purwadadi 2. Kondisi tersebut salah satunya dipengaruhi oleh penggunaan metode pembelajaran tradisional yang masih dominan, sehingga kurang mampu mendorong keterlibatan aktif siswa dalam proses belajar. Berdasarkan latar belakang tersebut, penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penerapan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) yang dipadukan dengan media visual terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuasi eksperimen dengan desain pretest-posttest one group. Subjek penelitian melibatkan dua kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen yang mendapatkan pembelajaran dengan model PBL berbantuan media visual dan kelas kontrol yang tetap menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes hasil belajar berbentuk pilihan ganda. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan serangkaian uji prasyarat, meliputi uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, serta uji hipotesis menggunakan paired sample t-test. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar siswa pada kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol. Nilai rata-rata posttest siswa di kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol, yang menandakan bahwa integrasi PBL dengan media visual efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi IPA. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penerapan model Problem Based Learning berbantuan media visual memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas V di SD Negeri Purwadadi 2.
