Abstract

Abstract:Mathematics learning is currently directed at linking mathematical concepts with culture and students' daily activities, commonly referred to as ethnomathematics. Teachers must have a broad understanding to explain the concepts contained in culture, especially in songket Pandai Sikek in learning mathematics. This study explores the mathematical concepts contained in songket Pandai Sikek, a traditional Minangkabau songket. This research is explorative by utilizing the pattern and process of making songket. Data was obtained from documentation and interviews. The results showed that the songket Pandai Sikek has the concept of a flat shape such as a rhombus and isosceles triangle. In addition, the concepts of similarity, congruence, symmetry, comparison, measuring, and counting were also found. These mathematical concepts and activities become the starting point in making the design of mathematics learning based on culture and daily activities.Abstrak:Pembelajaran matematika saat ini diarahkan kepada kegiatan mengaitkan konsep matematika dengan budaya dan aktifitas siswa sehari-hari atau biasa disebut dengan etnomatematika. Guru dituntut memiliki pemahaman yang luas untuk menjelaskan konsep-konsep yang terdapat pada budaya khususnya pada tenun songket Pandai Sikek dalam pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplor konsep matematika yang terdapat pada tenun songket Pandai Sikek yang merupakan songket tradisional Minangkabau. Penelitian ini bersifat eksploratif dengan memanfaatkan pola dan proses pembuatan tenun songket Pandai Sikek. Data diperoleh dari dokumentasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada tenun songket Pandai Sikek terdapat konsep bangun datar seperti belah ketupat dan segitiga sama kaki. Selain itu dijumpai pula konsep kesebangunan, kekongruenan, kesimetrisan, perbandingan, mengukur dan menghitung. Konsep dan aktivitas matematika ini menjadi starting point dalam membuat desain pembelajaran matematika yang berbasis budaya dan aktifitas sehari-hari.

Abstract

The quality of the learning process in the classroom is a determinant of student learning outcomes. Based on observations that teachers in the learning process use conventional learning models which occur more in the form of lectures and giving practice questions. So according to observations, student learning outcomes are still low and have not yet reached the completeness mark. Based on these observations, to improve student learning outcomes in the learning process using the Auditory Intellectual Repetition (AIR) method. Based on the advantages of using the Auditory Intellectual Repetition (AIR) method, namely students are trained to read mathematical concepts carefully, then write them back into notebooks using their own language, these activities can increase students' understanding of the concepts that have been taught. Based on the results students' learning after using the audiotory intellectually repetition method that out of 18 students in class VIII 1 MTs S Kamang Mudik 4 students got scores in the value interval 50≤x<70 which means low category, 2 students in the value interval 70≤x<80 which means t student were in the medium category, and 8 students scored in the value interval 80≤x<90, which means their score was in the high category, and 4 students who scored 90≤x≤100, which means they were in the very high category. After the average score the results 81 students' mathematics learning is converted into the 5 categories above, so the average mathematics learning outcomes for class VIII 1 MTs S YATI Kamang Mudik after being taught using the auditory intellectually repetition model is generally in the high category.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the mathematics learning process it was found that students lacked interest in learning, so that their learning outcomes were considered low and not in accordance with the KKM set by the school. The aim of this research is to determine and describe students' interest in learning mathematics and self-confidence using the Contextual Teaching and Learning approach. This type of research is Qualitative Descriptive. The subjects of this research were 18 students of class VII MTsS YATI Kamang Mudik, taking 6 subjects for interviews. The results of this research show that students' interest in learning mathematics in the interested category is 73.57%. Increasing interest in learning makes student learning outcomes better. This can be seen from the results of the students' pre-test and post-test with an increase of 24.01%. Students also feel happy with the approach used, because students think that the Contextual Teaching and Learning approach can make it easier for students to understand the material taught by the teacher. The higher the student's interest in learning and self-confidence, the better the learning outcomes they get. A learning approach using Contextual Teaching And Learning can increase interest in learning mathematics and good student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research was motivated by seeing from several students who had good and poor memorization scores for the Qur'an, a striking gap in mathematics scores between students who had good memorization and students who had poor memorization. Based on this background, researchers are interested in conducting research on the influence of memorizing the Al-Qur'an on students' mathematics learning outcomes. The aim of the research was to find out whether there was a significant influence of memorizing the Qur'an on the mathematics learning outcomes of class X students at the Syech Ahmad Chatib Al-Minangkabawi Tahfizhul Qur'an Islamic Boarding School. The type of research used is population research with the nature of correlational research using regression. The population of this research is all class This research data is the result of documentation of Al-Qur'an memorization scores and students' mathematics learning achievement tests. The regression equation is Y = 32.117 + 0.628X. Meanwhile, the results of hypothesis testing obtained t = 4.007 and t table = 2.604 at a significance level of 5%, so that H 0 was rejected and H 1 was accepted with a coefficient of determination = 40.1% . So, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of memorizing the Qur'an on the mathematics learning outcomes of class X students at the Syech Ahmad Chatib Al-Minangkabawi Tahfizhul Qur'an Islamic Boarding School. Abstrak Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh dilihat dari beberapa siswa yang mempunyai nilai hafalan Al-Qur’an yang bagus dan kurang bagus, kesenjangan nilai matematika yang mencolok antara siswa yang memiliki hafalan yang bagus dan siswa yang memiliki hafalan yang kurang bagus. Berdasarkan latar belakang tersebut, peneliti tertarik untuk melakukan penelitian mengenai pengaruh hafalan Al-Qur’an terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh signifikan hafalan Al-Qur’an terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas X di Pondok Pesantren Tahfizhul Qur’an Syech Ahmad Chatib Al-Minangkabawi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian populasi dengan sifat penelitian korelasional menggunakan regresi. Populasi dari penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas X di Pondok Pesantren Tahfizhul Qur’an Syech Ahmad Chatib Al-Minangkabawi yang terdiri dari satu kelas berjumlah 26 orang siswa. Data penelitian ini yaitu hasil dari dokumentasi nilai hafalan Al-Qur’an dan tes hasil belajar matematika siswa. Persamaan regresinya yaitu Y = 32,117 + 0,628X. Sedangkan hasil pengujian hipotesis diperoleh thitung = 4,007 dan ttabel = 2,604 pada tingkat signifikan 5%, sehingga H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima dengan hasil koefesien determinasi = 40,1%. Jadi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan hafalan Al-Qur’an terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas X di Pondok Pesantren Tahfizhul Qur’an Syech Ahmad Chatib Al-Minangkabawi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi karena permasalahan yang ditemukan di kelas VIII MTsN 9 Padang Pariaman bahwa rendahnya hasil belajar matematika siswa. Hal ini terlihat dari nilai ulangan harian yang diberikan guru matematika. Jenis penelitian ini adalah pra eksperimen dengan rancangan penelitian yaitu The Static Group Comparison Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas VIII dan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas VIII-4 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII-3 sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes hasil belajar berupa soal essay. Data yang diperoleh dari hasil penelitian berdasarkan analisis data dengan menggunakan uji t adalah thitung = 3,212 dan ttabel =1,68. Karena thitung > ttabel maka tolak H0 dan terima H1 yang dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar matematika siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Quantum Teaching lebih baik daripada hasil belajar matematika siswa dengan pembelajaran konvensional di kelas VIII MTsN 9 Padang Pariaman tahun pelajaran 2023/2024.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya permasalahan yang ditemukan di kelas VI MIS Muallimin Tabek Talang Babungo Kec. Hiliran Gumanti Kab. Solok Tahun Pelajaran 2023/2024. Berdasarkan observasi yang dilakukan pada saat proses pembelajaran masih di dominasi oleh guru sehingga siswa menjadi pasif, hal ini diduga membuat hasil belajar siswa rendah. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, peneliti mencoba melakukan penelitian dengan mengunakan strategi pembelajaran ETH dalam pembelajaran matematika. Strategi pembelajaran ini diduga dapat mengembangkan keaktifan belajar siswa. Adapun penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah aktivitas dan hasil belajar matematika siswa yang melalui strategi pembelajaran ETH lebih baik dari pada hasil belajar matematika siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional pada kelas VI MIS Muallimin Tabek Talang Babungo Kec. Hiliran Gumanti Kab. Solok Tahun Pelajaran 2023/2024. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pra eksperimen dengan rancangan penelitian The Static Group Comparison Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VI MIS Muallimin Tabek Talang Babungo Kec. Hiliran Gumanti Kab. Solok Tahun Pelajaran 2023/2024. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VI.A sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VI.B sebagai kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data aktivitas belajar matematika siswa diperoleh presentase 451,31% tergolong pada kriteria aktif dan analisis tes akhir dihitung dengan mengunakan uji-t, diperoleh hasil thitung = 4,634 dan ttabel = 1,679, mengunakan MINITAB diperoleh Pvalue = 0,403 karena thitung > ttabel dan Pvalue < berarti H0 ditolak pada taraf nyata = 0,05. Dengan demikian, hasil belajar matematika siswa menggunakan strategi pembelajaran Everyone is a Teacher Here lebih baik dari pada siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvesional pada kelas VI MIS Muallimin Tabek Talang Babungo Kec. Hiliran Gumanti Kab. Solok Tahun Pelajaran 2023/2024.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the problems found, namely the lack of learning media, the LKPD used had not trained mathematical problem solving abilities, the existing LKPD was LKPD created by educators who had not been connected to Islamic teachings, resulting in a decline in students' mathematical problem solving abilities. This research aims to produce LKPD integrating Islamic values to train problem solving skills in class This research is development research or RnD using the Sugiyono development method. The instruments used were validation sheets, student response questionnaires, and mathematical problem solving ability tests. The data analysis techniques used are validity data analysis, practicality analysis, and effectiveness analysis. Based on the development research that has been carried out, an LKPD with a validity level of 80% is in the valid qualification, for the practicality qualification, namely 78.41% is in the practical criteria, and for the effectiveness level, namely 80,76% is in the effective qualification. It can be concluded that the LKPD integrates Islamic values to train mathematical problem solving abilities which was developed including valid, practical and effective criteria.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problems in class VIII of Al-Irsyad TI Bulaan Kamba Islamic Boarding School that the learning process is still centered on the teacher, lack of student response to mathematics learning, lack of student courage to ask the teacher, students still think mathematics is difficult and scary, lack of interest in learning mathematics, and students are less enthusiastic when participating in mathematics learning. One alternative learning that can be done to overcome these problems is to apply the Problem Based Learning learning model. This study aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning learning model on the interest in learning mathematics of class VIII students of Al Irsyad TI Bulaan Kamba Islamic Boarding School. The hypothesis in this study is "there is a significant effect of the Problem Based Learning learning model on the interest in learning mathematics of class VIII students of Al Irsyad TI Bulaan Kamba Islamic Boarding School". This type of research is a pre-experiment with a one group pretest-posttest research design, the population in this study were all students of class VIII of Al Irsyad TI Bulaan Kamba Islamic Boarding School, the sampling used was Random Sampling, first a normality test, homogeneity test, and average similarity test were carried out on the population data. The sample in this study was class VIII A as the sample class. The instrument in this study was a questionnaire on students' interest in learning mathematics. The data analysis technique used in this study was the paired sample t test. The results obtained from the paired sample t test were t count = 2.81 and t table = 2.05 and sig = 0.0045 at a real level of α = 0.05. From these results it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. So it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of the Problem Based Learning learning model on the interest in learning mathematics of class VIII students of Al Irsyad TI Bulaan Kamba Islamic Boarding School.
