Abstract

Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan karena permasalahan yang terjadi dari perkembangan Pendidikan karakter yang diajarkan Guru IPS di SMP Negeri 2 Saling. Sehingga tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengangkat peran Guru IPS dalam penanamkan karakter tanggung jawab melalui proses pembelajaran yang melibatkan Guru IPS Saling dengan didukung oleh karakter-karakter yang ditunjukkan oleh Guru agar penanaman nilai-nilai kebaikan tersebut dapat tercapai. Untuk metode penelitian yang dilakukan oleh peneliti adalah dengan studi kualitatif. Melalui studi kualitatif ini, peneliti berusaha membahas masalah yang sedang dikaji dengan sumber referensi dari hasil observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Untuk menguji keabsahan dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber agar data yang didapatkan dapat diolah menjadi lebih baik dan bermakna. Hasil dan pembahasan dalam penelitian ini dapat diketahui bahwa Guru IPS SMP Negeri 2 Saling dalam memberikan pemahaman terkait Pendidikan karakter tanggung jawab dapat melalui berbagai cara. Pendidikan karakter yang diberikan melalui motivasi kepada peserta didik saat mengajar, melalui sumber belajar dan model pembelajaran, diskusi bersama dan juga memberikan contoh yang baik terhadap karakter tanggung jawab yang harus dijaga oleh peserta didik di SMP Negeri 2Saling. Maka melalui kegiatan-kegiatan yang positif tersebut nantinya dapat membuat peserta didik dapat menjadi contoh yang terpuji dilingkungan masyarakat. Simpulannya adalah Pendidikan karaktertanggung jawab harus dikembangkan dengan baik dengan dukungan semua elemen baik Sekolah, orang tua dan lingkungan masyarakat. Hal ini agar menciptakan masyarakat yang terpuji dan berguna bagi nusa dan bangsa di masa depan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to discuss Lubuklinggau during the governance of the Sindang Kelingi Ilir Marga (clan) from 1855 to 1942. The background of this research focuses on the history of the formation of the Sindang Kelingi Ilir Marga and the political conditions in Lubuklinggau during its administration.The method used in this research is the historical method, which includes the stages of heuristics, criticism, interpretation, and historiography.Based on the findings and discussion, it can be concluded that the formation of the Sindang Kelingi Ilir Marga was driven by the implementation of the Simbur Cahaya Law in 1854. According to this law, the Dutch colonial administration required indigenous community units or hamlets under the Palembang Residency that had not yet formed a marga to immediately establish one. Therefore, starting in 1855, many new marga were established, including the Sindang Kelingi Ilir Marga, which was centered in the village of Lubuklinggau.As for the political situation in Lubuklinggau during the administration of the Sindang Kelingi Ilir Marga from 1855 to 1942, it was led by seven depati (traditional leaders) and one pesirah (head of the marga). Significant political development occurred during the leadership of Depati Ramitan (1916–1936). During his leadership, Lubuklinggau, as the center of the Sindang Kelingi Ilir Marga, was designated as the capital of the Onder Afdeeling Moese Oeloe (a Dutch colonial administrative division), replacing Muara Beliti in 1934. This change was supported by the development of various infrastructure projects in Lubuklinggau, such as highways and a railway line, which were inaugurated during Depati Ramitan’s administration.

Abstract

This article examines the contribution of Islam in the culture of the case study of the Hajj parno in Koto Majidin Village. This research explores how Islamic teachings are integrated with local customs in the Hajj ceremony, as well as their impact on the social and cultural life of the local community. The Islamic community in the Koto Majidin traditional area recognizes several important roles such as Depati, Menti Agung, Pati, Rio, and Tumengun. The customs and characteristics of Islam in the village of Koto Majidin are very closely related. The linguistic expressions used in traditional ceremonies are called parno. The method used is a qualitative method in an anthropological approach which includes observation, interviews. The results of this study are seen from the Parno Tradition of the Hajj Discharge Custom in Koto Majidin Village as documentation and information for the Koto Majidin community that preservation is needed. Parno Adat Hajj Release, which is made by traditional leaders and previous people, holds a deep meaning of gratitude and respect for tradition. Islam's contribution to this culture includes aspects of custom, thanksgiving and prayer, togetherness, and ties of brotherhood.
