Abstract

Technological advances in education have encouraged the emergence of new and creative learning methods to improve student learning progress. One solution that can be implemented is the use of Augmented Reality (AR) technology in learning platforms. AR-based Interactive E-Books offer a more engaging learning experience and have the potential to improve students' focus and understanding. This study aims to measure the validity of AR-based Interactive E-Book media in improving the learning success of fifth-grade students at SDN 2 Tlanak. The method used is Research & Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. This study uses quantitative and qualitative approaches. Quantitative data were obtained from validation sheets filled out by experts in the fields of material, media, and language. The validation results show: (1) material experts gave a score of 84% (very valid); (2) media experts gave a score of 82% (very valid); and (3) language experts gave a score of 80% (valid). Based on these results, the AR-based Interactive E-Book media developed is declared valid and suitable for use as a learning medium. This media has the potential to improve the learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SDN 2 Tlanak.

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi saat ini meningkat sangat cepat dan memberikan dampak besar terhadap dunia pendidikan. Perkembangan ini juga mempermudah proses pembelajaran agar lebih efisien dan mudah diakses, sehingga mendukung tercapainya tujuan pendidikan secara maksimal dengan menggunakan media yang lebih menarik dan meningkatkan hasil belajar mereka. Pada penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran Prezi yang dipadukan teknologi AR (Augmented Reality) untuk menaikkan dan merubah hasil belajar siswa di kelas VI SDN 1 Babat menjadi lebih baik. Metode yang dipakai adalah model ADDIE. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan adanya peningkatan besar pada skor post-test dibandingkan dengan pre-test, yaitu rata-rata nilai post-test sebesar 91,08 dan pre-test sebesar 63,73. Disamping itu, terdapat jumlah skor besar dalam skor N-Gain, yaitu 0,85 ketika menggunakan media. Guru dan siswa juga turut memberikan tanggapan yang baik terhadap efektivitas media pembelajaran ini untuk meningkatkan pemahaman materi dan hasil evaluasi siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas VI SDN 1 Babat yang memperlihatkan rata-rata nilai pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila berada di bawah kriteria ketuntasan minimal, dimana hal tersebut dinyatakan dalam kategori rendah. Sebagian besar mengalami kesulitan memahami materi karena penggunaan media pembelajaran yang kurang inovatif. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yakni untuk menguji serta menganalisis tingkat validitas media pembelajaran Prezi berbasis Augmented Reality dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini memakai jenis penlitian serta pengembangan R&D (Research and Development) dengan model pengembangan 4-D (Four D) yakni, define, design, development, dan disseminate, yang melibatkan beberapa para pakar atau ahli dalam media, materi, dan bahasa untuk meninjau, memberi masukan, dan menilai media. Instrumen yang dibutuhkan pada penelitian ini ialah lembar angket penilaian validasi para ahli. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data yang diraih dari semua validator, setiap ahli memberikan penilaian dengan persentase skor di atas 81%. Rata-rata total dari penilaian tersebut mencapai angka 92,3%. Jika mengacu pada kriteria interpretasi validitas, skor tersebut tergolong pada kategori “sangat valid” serta layak untuk dipakai pada pembelajaran.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 berdampak pada bidang pendidikan yaitu, proses pembelajaran tidak dapat dilakukan secara tatap muka. Sehingga, guru dituntut untuk kreatif dalam mendesain pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Flipped Classroom pada materi pokok Gerak pada Manusia, Hewan, dan Tumbuhan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Metode penelitian yang dipilih adalah pre-eksperimental dengan desain penelitian one group pretest-posttest. Pretest dilakukan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar subjek penelitian sebelum model pembelajaran Flipped Classroom diberikan. Setelah perlakuan, hasil belajar subjek penelitian diketahui berdasarkan hasil posttest. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas VIII-A SMP Muhammadiyah 9 Bojonegoro yang berjumlah 32 orang. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah tes hasil belajar. Analisis data hasil penelitian menggunakan N-Gain Score. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata persentase N-Gain Score sebesar 75% atau berkategori tinggi. Sehingga, kesimpulan penelitian adalah penerapan Flipped Classroom dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas VIII-A di SMP Muhammadiyah 9 Bojonegoro pada tahun ajaran 2020/2021 materi pokok Gerak pada Manusia, Hewan, dan Tumbuhan.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of thematic learning, describe the learning outcomes of 5th grade elementary school students, the obstacles experienced, as well as efforts to overcome obstacles in the implementation of an e-learning learning management system with a simple webview-based LMS. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The subjects of this study were teachers and students of class V SDN Sumurjalak 1. The data collection techniques in this study were observation, interviews and documentation. Interviews were conducted directly with class teachers and students. Observations were made during thematic learning using an e-learning learning management system with a simple webview-based LMS. The data that has been collected is then reduced, then presented in the form of descriptions, tables and figures which are then given conclusions. The implementation of thematic learning in this study presents material on the theme of 6 sub-themes 1 class V, namely Heat and its Transfer. In this online learning, students use a simple LMS based on a webview. The LMS used is equipped with a platform that contains a summary of learning materials, learning videos and student worksheets that have been arranged coherently according to the learning steps with an interesting presentation. Student learning outcomes after using this LMS have increased. Students also feel happy and interested in participating in online learning with a simple LMS. However, in the implementation of thematic learning using LMS there are several obstacles including (1) Inadequate or limited quotas; (2) Unstable internet connection due to home environment conditions; (3) There is distraction in the home environment (noisy, often ordered to); (4) Insufficient device capacity to install online learning support applications and subject file storage. (5) late submission of assignments. Efforts made by schools and teachers in overcoming existing obstacles are trying their best to present interesting, creative and fun learning besides encouraging teachers to be creative and innovative in creating interesting online learning for students. availability of existing technological facilities, so that online learning can run as previously planned. Then to minimize delays in collecting assignments and following online learning the teacher can guide students to prepare in the previous days.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to apply STEM-based learning to improve the 21st Century Skills of Madrasah Aliyah students. The subject of study is class X MA Nurul Huda Kragan Rembang, Central Java. The procedures research consists of the preparation, implementation, and presentation stages. The learning design used in this study is a quasi-experimental design with a nonequivalent control group design model. The STEM ability profiles studied are 1) Critical Thinking (providing connections between various scientific knowledge learned by students and real-life problems); 2) Creative (directing students to apply their knowledge through an engineering design process to create a technological solution to a problem); 3) Collaborative (proving that problem solving is possible by pairing machines, this modeling is then tested and the results will be evaluated whether the problem solving solution model is effective for solving the problem or not, if it is deemed ineffective then the design of the problem solving model is improved) t; 4) Communicative (able to calculate the impact that occurs when using the technology that has been made). After applyed STEM-based learning, the Critical Thinking skills of MA Nurul Huda Kragan students increased by 27.69%, Creative abilities increased by 12.00%, Collaborative abilities increased by 17.23%, and Communicative abilities increased by 36.92%.

Abstract

Children with ADHD are children with special needs who need special services and attention, especially in formal education. Children with ADHD or often called hyperactive experience difficulties in learning because of difficulty concentrating. The learning difficulties referred to are difficulties in reading and writing at the beginning. To overcome the difficulties he faces, it is necessary to use interesting media so that he can focus his concentration and make him more enthusiastic about learning so that he can improve his reading and writing skills. Researchers used the picture book "CALIS" as an appropriate medium to help the learning process of students with ADHD. The purpose of this study was to determine the validity level of the character-based "CALIS" picture book media to improve the literacy skills of ADHD students at SDN Sidorejo II Tuban. This study uses a research and development approach (Research and Development). The development model used by researchers is the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative and quantitative data analysis. Quantitative data uses material, media and language expert validation sheets. The final conclusion of the validity results is as follows: (1) the level of validity of the material expert is stated to be very valid with a result of 90%. (2) the validity level of the media expert is stated to be valid with a score of 80%. (3) the validity level of the linguist is stated to be very valid with a score of 93.33%. The results of this validation show that the developed "CALIS" picture book media is declared valid and ready to be used as a learning medium for children with ADHD class II at SDN Sidorejo II Tuban.

Abstract

This study was conducted to create a learning tool in the form of an electronic book using Canva to improve the learning achievement of grade 3 students in the field of natural and social sciences (IPAS) at the UPT SD Negeri Doromukti. The background of this study is based on the low learning achievement of students and the minimal use of interactive digital learning media in schools. The ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) is used in research and development (R&D). The data collection process was carried out by means of observation, interviews, expert questionnaires for validation, student and teacher questionnaires for responses, and the implementation of pretest and posttest tests. The validation results prove that the E-book using Canva is declared very qualified by media experts (92.3%), material experts (88.6%), and language experts (93.2%). In practice, this media is also very good with a percentage of responses from teachers reaching 95% and students 91%. The effectiveness of the product can be seen from the better learning outcomes for students with an N-Gain value of 0.56 which is included in the category of quite effective to effective. Ebooks based on Canva have proven to be valid, useful, and efficient in improving students' science learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study intends to describe the Cooperative Integrated Reading Composition (CIRC) learning model's deployment with the use of Flashcard media and the improvement in dyslexic students' reading comprehension skills following the use of the CIRC model with Flashcard media. Research of this kind is referred to as classroom action research. This study's focus was on one student with special needs, namely dyslexia in class VI. The research site is at SDN Banjarworo II, Bangilan District, Tuban Regency. This study was conducted in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of one meeting. This research is class action research using a qualitative and qualified approach. The stages or steps carried out are (1) the planning stage, (2) the implementation stage, (3) the observation stage, and (4) the reflection stage. Data collection techniques use interview techniques, observations, tests, and documentation. Research instruments are interview sheets, observation sheets, and test sheets. Research results: At the stage of implementing the application of the CIRC model assisted by flashcard media, students pay attention to text and reading and make initial predictions. With the assistance of teachers, dyslexic students work in groups and practice doing presentations and class discussions, then do the reading comprehension ability test questions. In cycle 1, the assessment of teacher activities in implementing the CIRC learning model assisted by flashcard media was 80% with the criteria "good" and experienced an increase in cycle II of 95% with the criteria "excellent". The assessment of the activities of class VI dyslexic students in following the learning process using the CIRC learning model assisted by flashcard media was 70% with the criteria "good" and experienced an increase in cycle II by 85% with the criteria of "excellent". For the assessment of the reading comprehension ability of dyslexic students in the first cycle, which is 65, this score is still insufficient because it is below the school's KKM score. In the second phase, the assessment of reading comprehension ability increased to 80. This shows that the application of the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) learning model assisted by flashcard media can improve the reading comprehension ability of grade VI dyslexic students at SDN Banjarworo II, Bangilan District, Tuban Regency.

Abstract

This research aims to develop online snake and ladder media through Genially to improve the learning outcomes of social studies of grade V students of SDN Hargoretno 2 Kerek District who meet valid, practical, and effective criteria. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model. The test subjects included material experts, media experts, linguists, teachers, and 24 students of class V. Research instruments included validation sheets, observations, interviews, response questionnaires, and student tests. The validation results showed 94% subject matter experts, 88% media experts, and 84% linguists (all of which are very valid). The teacher's response questionnaire obtained 80% and the student 86% (practical), while the student's test results showed classical completeness of 88% (very effective). Thus, the online snake and ladder media through Genially is declared valid, practical, and effective to be used in social studies learning to improve student learning outcomes.
