Abstract

The nature of being open to immigrants makes ethnic Malays exposed to various crimes such as fraud, physical violence, sexual violence, murder, theft, corruption,  and the use of illegal drugs involving perpetrators who are Malay nationals or perpetrators who live in the Malay area, which continues to increase every year. the year. the year. This increase in crime rates shows that people in the Malay area are experiencing a decline in character. There have been various speculations that cultural customs, teachings, and advice on trust are no longer respected, or perhaps those who live in the Malay area have not been given teachings regarding the noble values of Malay culture, which are based on the Koran. Therefore, the dimension of religiosity related to Malay ethnic beliefs in the book needs to be reconstructed and internalized with the aim of strengthening Malay ethnic beliefs, and people living in Malay areas believe in the Koran as a guide to life. A descriptive qualitative study was completed through stylistic, semiotic, and hermeneutic approaches to traditional Malay poetry. The research data is in the form of rhymes, poetry, and expressions contained in Tenas Effendy's works. The data sources for the study come from four books. (1) Tunjung Ajar Melayu in Pantun Gurindam and Seloka; (2) Pantun Nasihat; (3) Syair Nasib Melayu; and (4) Tangkat Ajar Melayu: Details of Riau Malay Culture. Data was collected through reading, noting, and interpreting techniques, then coded to count the number of occurrences using the AnCont application. The validity of the data goes through a verification and validation process by experts in the fields of literature, Malay, and religion. Malay ethnic faith in the Koran appears in several categories, namely: (1) knowing God by devoutly reading the Koran; (2) Ethnic Malays use the Koran as Imam; (3) encouraging children to honor the Koran; (4) customary lines that are based on syarak and syarak based on the Book of Allah; (5) diligently listening to the reading of the Koran is believed to expand knowledge; (6) making the Koran a guide for life; and (7) diligently studying the Koran as a sign of Malay luck. The reconstruction of the religiosity dimension of belief in books shows that traditional Malay poetry is a literary work that contains a call to amar maruf nahi mungkar. It is hoped that this study can have implications for learning. Riau Malay culture in schools and oral literature in universities.

Abstract

Bengkalis folklore is usually told or conveyed orally and has developed in writing. Bengkalis folk tales contain many teachings which will later be specialized to become part of the Malay Teachings (TAM). The purity of the teachings in this folklore should be enjoyed by all groups, including the younger generation. Prospective teachers play an active role in conveying all the Malay teachings contained in folklore to convey the wisdom contained therein. For this reason, the focus of this study is to answer two important questions, namely what the ability of prospective teachers is to find teaching guides and variants of teaching guides that have been successfully investigated by prospective Indonesian language teachers from the people of Bengkalis. This qualitative and quantitative research uses data from this study in the form of data excerpts taken from five Bengkalis folk tales, namely Disobedience; Awang Merah Merah Destroys Pirates; Commander of Bujang Kelana; Tragedy in the Land of Heirlooms; and a Brief History of Datuk Setia Indra Merbau. The findings of this study are that the five Bengkalis folk tales have Malay teachings as the basis or foundation of the Malay character who is obedient to parents and leaders, responsible, deliberative and brave

Abstract

Religiosity refers to the extent of insight and knowledge one has about their religion, the strength of their belief in carrying out worship and following rules, and the depth of their absorption in their faith. Religiosity can be classified into several dimensions. According to Stark and Glock, these dimensions are divided into five categories: Religious Belief (The Ideological Dimension), Religious Practice (The Ritualistic Dimension), Religious Feeling (The Experiential Dimension), Religious Knowledge (The Intellectual Dimension), and Religious Effect (The Consequential Dimension). This research was conducted to provide an overview of religiosity as depicted in a literary work, a subject that has previously been rarely explored. The approach used in this study is a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out using two techniques: the reading and note-taking technique and a questionnaire. The total number of religiosity dimensions analyzed in this study is 30, drawn from 15 poetry titles. The data reveal that the percentage distribution of religiosity dimensions is as follows: 53% for the belief dimension, 33% for the worship dimension, 10% for the knowledge dimension, 3% for the practice dimension, and 0% for the appreciation dimension. The findings of this study conclude that the belief dimension is the most dominant dimension in the poetry collection ‘Perang Pecah Lagi di Gaza’. Additionally, the study highlights the students' low understanding of exploration activities related to religiosity and its various dimensions.

Learning to recite or reply to rhymes is very important for junior high school students. In addition to practicing literary skills, reciting rhymes can also train students' mental abilities to perform in front of many people. In addition, rhyming can also build students' character and personality because rhymes contain many messages and moral values.
