Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui nilai sastra dan nilai budaya  serta nilai-nilai yang terdapat dan  terkandung dalam Tradisi Basiacung di Daerah Kebun Durian Kecamatan Gunung Sahilan Kabupaten Kampar Riau yang sekarang sudah hampir tidak diminati oleh generasi muda sehingga sulit untuk meneruskan regenerasi, yang sekarang sudah hampir punah dan pupus, serta merupakan langkah awal untuk menambah cakrawala berfikir dan menambah wawasan bagi pembaca dan peneliti lanjutan. Dengan selesainya penelitian  ini akan menambah literatur yang mengulas, meneliti serta memikirkan tentang Tradisi Basiacung ini. Penelitian ini hendaknya dapat dijadikan acuan yang bermanfaat bagi kehidupan bermasyarakat di samping itu  penelitian ini merupakan sarana inventarisasi mengenai tradisi  bersastra tradisional  dalam bidang sastra dan  budaya.Kata Kunci:  Basiacung, Kebun Durian, Kampar, RiauAbstractThe research aims to investigate the culture and literature values in  Tradition of Basiacung  in Kebun Durian, Gunung Sahilan, Kampar District - Riau Province. Abstract

AbstractThis writing analyzes narcisism and oedipuis complex as refelcted in a literary work entitles “pygmalion” written by George Bernard Shaw. Thus, the objective of this analysis is to show and to analyze how narcisism and Oedipus complex are suffered from the protagonist of this work. To reach that objective, this analysis applies psychoanalitical analysis  to demonstrate the mental condition of the main character. Related to that idea, this analysis applies adescriptive analysis method in which the result of the analysis will be described clearly. From teh presented description, it will show how the main character of this work lives his life and in his interaction with other characters will describe his mental condition. Keywords: Pygmalion, psychoanalisis, Narcisism, Oedipus Complex.   AbstrakTulisan ini menganalisis kasus Narsisme dan Kompleks Oedipus yang tergambar pada sebuah karya sastra berjudul Pygmalion yang ditulis oleh George  Bernard Shaw.  Maka tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperlihatkan dan menganalisis bagaimana kasus narsisme dan kompleks oedipus yang dialami oleh tokoh utama karya ini. Untuk mencapai tujuan itu, kajian ini menerapkan kajian psikoanalisis  untuk memperlihatkan kondisi kejiwaan tokoh utama yang mengalami gangguan jiwa yang dimanakan Narsisime dan Kompleks Oedipus.  Kajian ini menerapkan metode deskriptif analisis dimana hasil analisis akan dideskripsikan dengan jelas. Dari deskripsi yang dijabarkan akan memperlihatkan bagaimana tokoh utama karya ini dalam kehidupannya dan interaksinya dengan tokoh yang lain memperlihatkan kondisi jiwanya. Kata Kunci: Pygmalion, Psikoanalisis. Abstract

Community service is done entitled "Training of Scientific Writing for Primary School Teachers 171 Kulim Tenaga Raya District". Scientific work is a scientific work formed in writing. Community devotion done to elementary school teachers because during this time they become obstacles is to make scientific work that has become the main requirement in promotion. Therefore, the teachers feel burdened with the requirements of the government because of this dedication is done so that teachers SDN 171 Kulim can do promotion and responsible in carrying out their duties as teachers, especially for elementary school teachers who are found in Kulim Kecamatan Tenayan Raya. The expected result after the dedication is done is the teachers of SDN 171 Kulim Tenaga Raya District has the ability and comprehension in writing scientific papers.

Abstract

Pantun Batobo is a type of pantun in the Kampar area, Riau Province. This pantun is hummed when doing batobo activities. Batobo is a mutual cooperation activity in working on the fields, starting from the process of planting to harvesting. This study examines the pantun batobo by focusing on two aspects, namely the treasures of local plants found in the pantun and the function of the pantun. Data collection methods used are interview methods and recording techniques. The data analysis method uses descriptive analysis method. The theory used is Alan Dundes' Function Theory and Ecocritical Theory. The results obtained from this study are that from an eco-critic perspective, the batobo pantun is rich in knowledge of local plant treasures stored in the rhyme sampirans. This shows the close kinship between the people who own the pantun and the nature around it. In terms of function, this pantun has a function as a fun escape from reality and turns boring work into a game. The pantun batobo is not only a pantun muda-mudi filled with feelings, but it contains the perspective of the people who own the pantun about macrocosm and microcosm.

Abstract

This Community Service Program aims to train the skills of students at the Darul Fatah Islamic Boarding School, Rumbio Jaya District, Kampar Regency in maintaining traditional folklore in the Kampar language. Another aim of this PkM activity is as a main step in bringing out new talent for penolam in Kampar district, whose presence is dwindling day by day. Apart from that, this training and mentoring is a medium for da'wah for prospective ustadz and ustadzah who are studying at the Islamic boarding school. By having the skill of menolam which is a treasure of the Kampar people, this makes them preachers who have unique values. The implementation of this service is carried out using the training and mentoring approach method or mentorship regularly interactive by presenting someone I don't want a guru as a mentor, namely Mr. Maryulis Terang Bulan. The target of this activity is Islamic boarding school students and also teachers. The results of this community service activity show that 87% of students are interested in menolam. It is hoped that the students' interest will arise in studying nolam further and studying this foklor so that regeneration can be created by pano.

Abstract

The lexicon and distribution of Riau Malay emerged because of causes that are closely related to language changes observed in certain elements found in the variety of dialects, regional boundaries, number of speakers, residence, identity and cultural pride, and economic conditions. The purpose of this study was to determine (1) the lexical form of phonology and (2) the geographical distribution of phonological forms that experience variations in Riau Malay in Kampar Regency. This research uses a descriptive method with listening, interviewing, recording, and recording techniques. The methods and analytical techniques used are the padan method and the banding technique. This research was conducted at nine observation points in Kampar Regency. The sample of informants at each observation point amounted to one person. The research instrument used for the interview was a list of questions containing 441 questions. The results of this study are based on its realization: the determination of phonetic innovations based on the discovery of variants that show a phonotactic change from the original variant at the Riau Malay observation point in Kampar Regency. Its geographical phonological distribution is based on observation points and the results of data phenomena in the field that often experience dispersal at observation points (1), (2), (3), (8), and geographically.

Abstract

The goal of this research is to describe The Profile of Aidt Tribe in Teluk Setimbul District Pasir Panjang Regency Meral Subdistrict Karimun, Riau Archipelago and social change that happens in society of Aidt Tribe in Teluk Setimbul District Pasir Panjang Regency Meral Subdistrict Karimun, Riau Archipelago. For analyzing data, the research is done quantitatively, the data collected is then explained descriptively namely describing or telling the research result with the logical sentence parsing so that it can be easy io understand. This research was done in Teluk Setimbul District Pasir Panjang Regency Mera! Subdistrict Karimun, RiauArchipelago. The result from the research shows that Aidt Tribe has experienced many changes that move forward, it can be seen from economic structure of Aidt Tribes society and custom of Akit Tribe now, where they have already changed and the changes can be seen from child s education, religion, means of livelihood, exogamy marriage, mobility that show different change from previous time.

Abstract

When new technology is available on various platforms, there are many transfers of knowledge content or even the platform itself as a medium that produces culture, the result can be convergence, culture becomes more similar, more similar and uniform as a result, or divergence when culture adopts technology. in a different way that maintains or even accentuates the difference. Johnston and Johal (1999) stated that the internet is a virtual culture by using the dimensions of Hofstede (1980) it can be concluded that internet culture develops and is unified and uniformized. In this case, the algorithm plays a role in regulating the flow of culture that will be transferred to users so that it becomes uniform. Marcus and Gould (2000) review selected platforms for transferring convergent cultures, based on an analysis of the recent work by Hofstede (1991). it can be concluded that culture, as revealed by Hofstede's dimension, does indeed affect multiple platforms and has the potential to be the same or monoculture. With discourse analysis supported by digital data from the Tik Tok platform, this article is expected to contribute to the idea that many platforms are used in social media, which can produce new cultures or even reproduce cultures that are uniform and certain.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the pragmatic elements present in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) textbooks used in senior high schools in Pekanbaru, Indonesia. Specifically, it examines the coverage of speech acts, metapragmatic strategies, and contextual variables in two widely used textbooks: Buku Sarana Elektronik (BSE) and Pathway to English, for grades X, XI, and XII. The research employs a qualitative descriptive approach with document analysis techniques, drawing data from the textbooks and interviews with English teachers in Pekanbaru. The findings reveal that the coverage of speech acts in both textbooks is incomplete, with an overemphasis on directives such as commands, requests, and suggestions. These speech acts, often face-threatening, require higher pragmatic competence from learners, which the textbooks do not adequately support. Additionally, metapragmatic information provided in the textbooks is limited and focuses more on pragmalinguistics than sociopragmatic factors, leaving students underprepared for real-life communication where social norms and contextual variables such as power dynamics play a crucial role. The textbooks also lack diversity in contextual variables, with most dialogues featuring interactions between individuals of equal power and little social distance, reducing learners’ exposure to various social roles and communication contexts. The study concludes that both BSE and Pathway to English fail to provide sufficient pragmatic content and suggests that future textbook design should include a broader range of speech acts, metapragmatic strategies, and diverse social contexts to better develop learners' pragmatic competence. The findings have significant implications for improving the effectiveness of teaching materials in Indonesian EFL classrooms.
