Abstract

Online Media is a means to communicate online through websites and applications that can only be accessed via the internet. Contains text, sound, photos and videos. The definition of online media in general includes all types of websites and applications, including news sites, corporate sites, institutional/agency sites, blogs, community forums, social media sales sites (e-commerce/online stores) and chat applications. Events that occur in the field can be uploaded directly in minutes or seconds. Thus accelerating the distribution of information to the media, with global reach via the internet network, and at the same time. Updating information can be done easily and quickly, either in the form of improving content, data and grammar, or in the form of the latest development of an issue or event. When there is an update of information related to old information, changes can be made. This updating process can be done in real time. Online sales or e-commerce is an application and business process that connects shops and consumers through electronic transactions and can help the shop in marketing the maximum product. Lately, credit has become a basic need for both calling and using the internet. Selling credit using online media is needed by most people in Gorontalo City.

Abstract

Advances in technology require that changes are encouraged in human life from the information age to the digital era in all fields (Fitria, 2018). The use of technology as a learning medium is one of the innovative steps to improve the quality of education in Indonesia, so that it can compete at the global level. One form of student learning media that implements the development of technology and communication with user interaction that is currently being developed is a digital book, also known as an e-book (Hartanti, 2013). In the past, we could only read books in the form of sheets of paper arranged in such a way that the general public could read them. But now, along with the progress of the times, books are not only in paper form but can be in digital form that can be stored in a cellphone. A digital book or also called an e-book is a publication consisting of text, images, audio and published in digital form that can be read on computers or other electronic devices such as Android or tablets (Andikaningrum et al, 2014). The e-book itself makes the text and images in the form of digital media in either plain text format, pdf which can be opened with Acrobat Reader, or html format which can be opened by browsing or internet explorer offline. Even so, e-books still use the pdf format, because it is safer and more comfortable. The use of e-books is not intended to replace printed books, but e-books are designed to facilitate the reading process, make it more comfortable and can be used everywhere because of its small size, unlike conventional books which are large and thick. (Folb et al, 2011, in Hsio Chun-Hua et, al 2014). According to Gessner in Andi Murniati (2012), there are several advantages of publication in the form of electronic books, namely saving in production costs and fast in publishing and dissemination (speed-up in publication and dissemination). This is an advantage of online electronic publications in terms of economic factors, speed and very easy access. With the e-book, access to this application system can be used anytime and as often as possible, not limited to study hours and not depending on the place.

Abstract

The existence of customer loyalty for the company is very important. Customer loyalty is defined as people who enjoy services, especially those who receive services regularly and repeatedly. This definition places loyalty as a commitment to an attitude that generates empathy. In this research about the impact of brand image and consumer satisfaction on customer loyalty. The population in this study are customers of private universities in Gorontalo. The number of samples used is 96 respondents, the sampling technique is using purposive sampling. The data obtained and analyzed qualitatively obtained through observation and data collection. The results showed that brand image has a significant influence on customer satisfaction, which is significant for customer loyalty.

Abstract

E-letter is a web-based application used for correspondence activities which makes it easier to time-efficient company correspondence activities while triggering pros and cons among users in its implementation. The aim of this research is to identify E-letters taking place in company correspondence amidst the emergence of pros and cons between users while carrying out business correspondence giving rise to various meanings of E-letters which continue to persist in supporting the achievement of organizational goals. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The results of this research show that the use of e-letters in private universities gives rise to various different user perspectives, but the use of e-letters continues. The use of e-letters provides convenience and accuracy in correspondence starting from the creation and distribution of official letters to the process of information retrieval and storage. This system minimizes misuse of official documents because it has a security system where only registered employees can access the system.

Abstract

Aquaculture is defined as an activity to produce aquatic biota (organisms) in a controlled manner in order to gain profit. Another definition of aquaculture is human intervention (efforts) to increase aquatic productivity. Fish are members of poikilothermic (cold-blooded) vertebrates that live in water and breathe with gills. Fish are the most diverse group of vertebrates with more than 27,000 species worldwide. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, namely by explaining and answering in more detail how freshwater fish are cultivated, the benefits and types of freshwater fish that are popularly consumed by the public. The results of the research show that there are several types of freshwater fish that are popularly consumed in Telaga Jaya, Gorontalo Regency, including tilapia fish, gourami, catfish, goldfish, tilapia, nilem fish and snakehead fish.
