Abstract

Setiap orang memang dituntut untuk mampu berkomunikasi dengan baik maupun memiliki jiwa leadership untuk membangun kehidupannya baik secara pribadi maupun dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat. Kemampuan seseorang dalam berbicara merupakan dari bagian komunikasi yang efektif, yaitu mampu merumuskan keputusan untuk mencapai musyawarah yang baik, serta menyampaikan pesan kepada orang dengan cara yang tepat dan menarik perhatian. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membantu pemuda sehingga dapat meningkatkan kemampuan public speaking yang baik dan juga untuk meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat di sekitar area wisata Tumpak Sewu dusun Krajan desa Sidomulyo. Metode yang digunakan yaitu berbasis Participatory Action Research (PAR) dengan proses to know, to understand, to plan dan to act serta masyarakat sebagai pelaku utama dalam pelaksanaanya. Hasil riset menunjukkan bahwa kurangnya keterampilan dan pelatihan dalam berbahasa asing menjadikan masyarakat kesulitan dalam berkomunikasi dengan para wisatawan yang berkunjung di wisata tumpak sewu. Setelah di adakannya pendampingan bahasa inggris kepada masyarakat sekitar tumpak sewu baik para pedagang, local guide dan lainnya agar memudahkan masyarakat dalam berkomunikasi. Dengan adanya pendampingan untuk program selanjutnya agar memudahkan masyarakat dalam berkomunikasi bahasa asing yang dapat di gunakan sebagai jembatan perekonomian semua pelaku di wisata tumpak sewu.

Abstract

Artikel ini merupakan hasil pendampingan yang dilakukan di taman pendidikan al-Qur’an terutama pada proses pembelajaran hafalan. Proses pembelajaran al-Qur’an selama ini di berbagai TPQ terutama di daerah dampingan menggunakan metode setor hafalan sebagaimana biasanya. Metode setor hafalan menjadi metode yang seringkali digunakan oleh para pengajar al-Qur’an terutama untuk pelajar usia kelas bawah. Proses pendampingan menggunakan pendekatan participatory action research (PAR), yakni sebuah riset aksi partisipatif yang menjadikan problematika sebagai obyek dan masyarakat sebagai subyek dampingan. Hasil pendampingan menunjukkan kemajuan dalam proses pembelajaran hafalan al-Qur’an. Peserta didik termotivasi untuk memperbanyak hafalan, orang tua juga dapat mendampingi peserta didik di rumah dengan menggunakan berbagai media seperti murottal al-Qur’an di platform youtube maupun video pembelajaran yang lain. Hal ini dapat mendorong percepatan hafalan al-Qur’an dan membantu peserta didik sebelum menyetorkan hafalan kepada guru tahfidznya.

Abstract

This study aims to describe teachers' strategies in implementing religious moderation in thematic learning at Al-Azhar Madrasah Ibtidaiyyah (MI) and Madaiyyah Senduro Madrasah Aliyah (MAS). Religious moderation, as a balanced, tolerant, anti-violent, and nation-oriented religious attitude, is very important to be instilled from an early age through formal education. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and documentation studies, then analysed using the interactive analysis model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldana. The results showed that teachers at MI Al-Azhar used concrete experience-based strategies, such as storytelling, collaborative games, and daily prayer habits, to instil the values of tolerance and togetherness. Meanwhile, teachers at MAS Madaiyyah developed strategies for thematic discussions, case studies, and self-reflection that encourage students to think critically and reflect on religious moderation. The obstacles encountered include teachers' limited understanding of religious moderation, a dense curriculum, and the negative influence of social media. However, supporting factors such as madrasah policies, teacher role models, and the local socio-cultural context contributed to the success of the implementation. This study emphasises the importance of the role of teachers as agents of moderation through thematic learning, as well as the need to strengthen teacher capacity and learning innovation to shape a moderate generation in an era of diversity.

Abstract

This article highlights the critical role of teacher competence, particularly pedagogical competence, in educating children with special needs to help them optimize their potential. Pedagogical competence enables teachers to effectively manage and develop the learning process, thereby enhancing learning outcomes. However, in practice, many Islamic Religious Education teachers fall short of these competency standards, which adversely affects the learning outcomes of students with special needs. This study is based on field research employing qualitative methods at the Junior High School for Children with Special Needs (SMPLB) in Lumajang. The findings indicate that improving learning outcomes requires active collaboration between teachers and students, particularly students with special needs, and demands teachers who possess strong pedagogical competence.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis proses transformasi kurikulum keagamaan dan kontribusinya dalam memperkuat nilai-nilai pendidikan pesantren yang meliputi nilai I‘tiqādiyyah (keyakinan), ‘Amaliyyah (praktik ibadah), dan Khulūqiyyah (akhlak). Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi, serta analisis data menggunakan model interaktif Miles & Huberman (kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan) yang divalidasi melalui triangulasi sumber dan metode. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa transformasi kurikulum di Pondok Pesantren Miftahul Ulum Pandanwangi dilakukan secara bertahap, kolaboratif, dan integratif, memadukan pendekatan salafiyah dengan sistem modern. Kurikulum yang dikembangkan berhasil memperkuat internalisasi nilai-nilai pesantren melalui keseimbangan antara penguasaan ilmu agama, pembiasaan ibadah, dan pembentukan karakter santri yang mandiri, disiplin, serta berakhlak mulia. Faktor pendukung utama meliputi kepemimpinan kiai yang visioner, dukungan masyarakat dan alumni, serta sinergi antar pesantren mitra; sementara hambatan muncul dari keterbatasan tenaga pengajar dan variasi motivasi santri. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa transformasi kurikulum berbasis nilai tidak hanya menjaga identitas pesantren salafiyah, tetapi juga menjadikannya model pendidikan adaptif dan transformatif di tengah arus modernisasi pendidikan Islam.

Abstract

The high rate of divorce among young couples has become a concerning social issue, including in Kencong, Jember Regency. Based on data from the Kencong Religious Affairs Office (KUA), most divorce cases in 2023 involved couples around 21 years old, with primary causes including economic problems, social media influence, and pressure from extended families. This community service aims to support efforts to prevent early-age divorce by strengthening the pre-marital counseling program at KUA Kencong. The method used is the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach, which includes the stages of preparing, discovering, dreaming, defining, designing, and destiny. Activities were carried out through field observations, interviews with religious counselors, as well as mentoring and reinforcement of the existing pre-marital counseling program. The results indicate that strengthening this program has improved young couples’ awareness in preparing for marriage emotionally, spiritually, and socially. The implication of this activity is the need for sustainable collaboration between academics and the KUA to develop contextual and continuous educational programs that can reduce early-age divorce rates.

Abstract

This research examines the synergy between Tafsir Maqashidi and local wisdom in Senduro Village, Senduro District, Lumajang Regency, in maintaining religious harmony and tolerance. The research object includes Qur'anic verses related to moderation and local wisdom, such as the tradition of gotong royong and deliberation, which support social harmony in the village. The research objective is to understand how Islamic values in maqashid al-shariah can be integrated with local wisdom to create a tolerant society. This research uses a qualitative method with a Maqashidi tafsir approach and content analysis of verses such as QS. Al-Baqarah [2]: 256 and QS. Al-Hujurat [49]: 13. The results show that Maqashidi tafsir reinforces the importance of moderation in maintaining harmony, and local wisdom in Senduro acts as a bridge in creating interfaith harmony. In conclusion, the integration between Maqashidi interpretation and local wisdom in Senduro Village is an effective strategy in maintaining social stability and interfaith tolerance
