Abstract

Mass communication, messages are called information or news. In presenting news, every media, especially online media, is required to always present news presentations that are able to attract readers in such a way. Issues in the news are conveyed through various media, one of which is online media. Likewise, Tempo media not only presents literacy media in the form of magazines, but also online media. The development of globalization and information has made it easy for various issues to spread, such as the issue of the existence of various gender terms currently, one of which is gender neutral which has become a news issue and is also an issue taken up by researchers. One of the gender neutral statements occurred in one of the UNHAS students as reported by Tempo.co. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. Data collection techniques use observation and documentation. The aim of this research is to analyze the framing in the news about the expulsion of Hasanuddin University students who claim to be gender neutral by the online media Tempo.co using the Pan and Kosicki model based on the classification of four syntactic, script, thematic and rhetorical structures. The results of this research are that if it is concluded from Pan and Kosicki's four structures, there are several points in the news published by Tempo.co, namely first, the pros and cons of gender neutral recognition by a student. Second, the lecturer's attitude violates the code of ethics. Third, Tempo.co's stance is pro gender deviation.

Abstract

The opening ceremony of Qatar 2022 world cup starting at 9:00 pm is broadcasted exclusively live streaming via video. The Qatar 2022 World Cup opening ceremony was held at AL-Bayt Stadium, with a capacity of 60,000. Being an interesting spectacle for the community. With Roland Barthes' semiotic theory, there are three sides of meaning that need to be studied from an expression, namely denotation meaning, which is a concrete sense of connotation meaning, which means with subjective and emotional elements and finally mythical meaning to determine the content analysis of religious messages. This research is to find out how the content analysis of religious messages on the opening ceremonial broadcast of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. This research uses descriptive qualitative with data analysis techniques in the form of observation and documentation. The results showed that typographically, the Opening Ceremonial of FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 by providing information about the religious message to be conveyed. There are several contents of religious messages in the Fifa World Cup Qatar 2022 Opening Ceremonial broadcast, namely peace, unity in diversity and conveying messages of humanity, tolerance and unity between nations. This broadcast invites following the Commandments of the Quran such as not drinking beer or women dressing sexy and conveying messages of humanity, tolerance and unity between nations. Eastern society uses robes not as a means of worship, but also in daily life.

Abstract

This research is entitled "Phubbing Motives Influence Social Relations Among Students". This research aims to determine the motives for phubbing influencing social relations among students at the Islamic University of Riau, Pekanbaru City, the causes of students doing phubbing. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The subjects in this research were teenagers who carried out phubbing in the Riau Islamic University campus area. In the research there were 5 teenagers who carried out phubbing who became informants. The results of this research show that there are 2 motives for phubbing, the first is because of motive, namely a feeling of not being appreciated, boredom, and uncomfortable. The second in order motive is to entertain oneself, obtain information, social needs. In this activity there are causes for phubbing, namely reflex actions and following people around.

Abstract

While leadership is learned, the skills and knowledge processed by the leader can be influenced by his or hers attributes or traits such as beliefs, values, ethics and character, Knowledge and skills contribute directly to the process of leadership, while the other attributes give the leader certain characteristics that make him or her unique. The purpose of this study is to identify the Keys for Success in the Leadership of Multinational Corporations. Leadership is important for the design and development of organizational strategy and structure. Leadership styles differ and each leader selects a style best suited to his personality. The specific objective for this study is to determine the effectiveness of leadership traits that contributes to the success of Multinational corporations. Abstract

Village assets consist of various forms, such as buildings, roads, and so on. Asset management by the village government in a professional, transparent, accountable, efficient and effective manner is very important. Properly managed village assets will produce benefits such as creating jobs, realizing sustainable development and ultimately positively impacting the economy. But in reality, there are many similarities in the problems of managing village assets in Indonesia and Malaysia, one of which is the problem of managing village assets so far is only limited to recording. Not yet to the management that can generate village income. This service activity aims to increase the understanding of the government apparatus of Singkir Darat Village, Kedah State, Malaysia, about managing village assets in a professional, transparent, accountable, efficient and effective manner.  The method of implementing this service involves counseling, which includes planning, implementation, and monitoring in collaboration with Universiti Utara Malaysia. The instrument for evaluating this activity is a questionnaire, and then analyzed descriptively. The results of this service show an increase in the understanding of the Singkir Darat Village Government apparatus and the community about the importance of village asset management, asset inventory and innovation in village asset management. Through this activity, the management of assets owned by Singkir Darat village can be carried out optimally to realize quality services to the community.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi komunikasi dan informasi gencar terjadi di era 4.0, saat ini informasi bisa di akses secara mudah dan cepat melalui teknologi yang ada. Teknologi sangat memudahkan penggunanya seperti aplikasi gojek yang dapat digunakan untuk berbagai hal. Salah satu pemanfaatan aplikasi gojek yaitu adanya fitur layanan gofood yang dapat di pakai untuk memesan makanan jarak jauh. Melalui aplikasi ini pengguna tidak perlu keluar rumah, melalui layanan yang ada maknan yang dipesan akan diantar oleh driver. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitiatif dengan teknik analisis data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di kota Pekanbaru. Hasil penelitian perilaku komunikasi driver gofood kepada costumer menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi verbal terdiri dari bahasa lisan langsung, bahasa lisan via telfon, dan bahsa tulisan via message. Komunikasi non verbal terdiri dari ekspresi wajah senang bahasa tubuh dan sentuhan. Hambatan komunikasi eksternal yaitu ngantri, macet, dan bau badan customer. Hambatan komunikasi internal yaitu senang, sedih, dan cuek. Jika produk yang dipesankan tidak sesuai dengan aplikasi maka costumer akan marah, terdapat costumer yang memesankan produk makanan secara berlebih dan memberi kepada driver. Artinya pola komunikasi berjalan dengan standar karena keduanya saling memegang teguh etika dan sopan santun satu sama lain meskipun terdapat beberapa costumer yang melakukan acuh. Sifat ramah dan saling pengertian juga terjadi hingga menimbulkan sikap saling menghargai.

Abstract

Seiring dengan pertambahan penduduk dan perkembangan berbagai industri dan teknologi, maka masalah lingkungan telah menjadi masalah serius     yang di hadapi oleh manusia. Perilaku masyarakat terhadap lingkungan sesungguhnya tidak terlepas dari tingkat pengetahuan dan sikap tentang berbagai hal yang berkaitan dengan lingkungan.  Adapun untuk mengurangi hal tersebuat salah satu hal yang harus di lakukan adalah mengampanyekan isu lingkungan. Dari sekian banyaknya komunitas peduli lingkungan yang ada di Pekanbaru, ada pun komunitas yang menarik melakukan Komunikasi Persuasif kegiatan kampanye isu lingkungan dengan melalui kesenian yaitu Pondok Belantara Adventure Riau. Penelitian ini berfokus pada Komunikasi Persuasif Komunitas Pondok Belantara Adventure Riau dalam Mengampanyekan isu lingkungan pada Masyarakat Kota Pekanbaru, guna mendapatkan respon positif dari masyarakat Kota Pekanbaru. alam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi persuasif yang di lakukan komunitas pondok belantara dalam mengampanyekan isu lungkungan yang ada di kota Pekanbaru adalah (1) Pendekatan, (2) Aspek internal, (3) Aspek Eksternal. Adapun Faktor Pendukung dan Faktor penghambat komunitas pondok belantara dalam menyampaikan pesan persuasive pada Masyarakat kota Pekanbaru. Sejauh ini komunikasi persuasif yang di lakukan komunitas pondok belantara sudah berjalan dengan baik.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi di Indonesia memicu kebutuhan perlindungan data pribadi yang lebih baik, mengingat banyaknya kasus kebocoran dan penyalahgunaan informasi. Untuk mengatasi hal ini, pada tahun 2022 Indonesia mengesahkan Undang-Undang Perlindungan Data Pribadi (UU PDP) guna memberikan jaminan hukum dan meningkatkan kesadaran tentang pentingnya kerahasiaan data. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran notaris dalam perlindungan data pribadi sesuai UU PDP dan mengidentifikasi tantangan yang dihadapi. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif yang meliputi kajian literatur dan wawancara, serta analisis data menggunakan NVivo 12 Plus. Sebagai pejabat hukum, notaris memiliki peran utama dalam menjaga kerahasiaan dan integritas data pribadi, meliputi memastikan akurasi, kelengkapan, dan konsistensi data, melakukan verifikasi, memperbaiki kesalahan, serta memberikan akses yang sesuai kepada subjek data. Tantangan yang dihadapi mencakup kepatuhan terhadap peraturan yang kompleks, pemeliharaan keamanan data, pengelolaan data dalam jumlah besar, dan penyediaan akses transparan. Untuk mengatasi tantangan ini, notaris perlu mengadopsi pendekatan yang terstruktur, termasuk pemahaman mendalam tentang regulasi, penerapan teknologi keamanan terbaru, dan sistem manajemen data yang efisien, guna memastikan kepatuhan hukum dan menjaga kepercayaan publik.

Abstract

Teknologi Komunikasi dan Informasi (TIK) saat ini telah menjadikan dunia ini melimpah akan informasi yang didistribusikan melalui banyak platform yang disediakan di internet. Salah satunya platform yang paling diminati hari ini adalah media sosial. kehadiran berbagai platform media digital ini tidak hanya membawa dampak negatif akan tetapi juga dampak negatif. Pada dampak negatif misalnya gangguan mental, ketergantungan pengunaan media yang dapat menghambat perkembangan kemampuan sosial di dunia nyata, cyberbullying, menjadi sasaran cybercrime, penyebaran data pribadi dan terpapar informasi bohong dan lain sebagainya. Mengatasi dampak negatif dan bagaimana media digital tersebut dapat digunakan untuk hal yang bersifat positif, maka diperlukan pembekalan keterampilan literasi media digital. Tujuan dari Pengabdian masyarakat (PKM) untuk meningkatkan literasi media digital pada remaja atau siswa. Hasil pengabdian ini adalah remaja memiliki kemampuan segi kognitif, afektif dan perilaku yang bijak dalam menggunakan media sosial sesuai dengan prinsip-prinsip literasi media. Hasil berikutnya adalah diperlukannya kolaborasi orang tua dan guru sebagai agensi utama gerakan literasi media digital pada remaja atau siswa.

Abstract

In this paper, we show that the therapeutic communications have to influence the image of health care at Regional Public Hospital of Arifin Achmad Pekanbaru. Beliefs and impressions of the patient have impact to cunstruct the image of health care at the hospital. Communication skills in providing medical services performed in the process of treatment and cure of patients have an effect on increasing the image of the hospital health care. By providing good services communication between doctors or nurses to the patients, health care will improve the image of the hospital. Therapeutic communication are being made to construct a positive image in government hospitals should be done when a doctor or nurse to communicate to the patient to interaction, listening, and to show reception. This paper s result obtain from the quantitative research by using the reggression linear method of statistic.
