Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the application of learning models LoK-R (Learning-Oriented Reading in the Language Classroom) and its impact on the literacy skills of class V students in understanding Indonesian language material at MI Nurul Iman. The research methodology uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through classroom observations, interviews with Indonesian language educators, and analysis of the implementation of Lok-R learning and understanding of material regarding students’ literacy skills in learning Indonesia. The findings show that the learning modelLoK-R considered relevant and effective in improving students' literacy skills. Educators highlight the advantages of this model in encouraging students' active participation, increasing their understanding, and strengthening interest in learning. However, constraints such as limited time and resources, as well as challenges in adapting the model to students' needs were also identified. To overcome these obstacles, strategies such as efficient time management, maximum management of available resources, adapting the model to students' needs, developing educator capacity, and collaboration and institutional support have been identified. The research results show that this approach is considered relevant and effective in improving students' literacy skills. Educators also admit that this model encourages active student participation, deepens understanding of the material, and increases interest in learning. This research provides valuable insight for educators and schools to improve the quality of understanding of Indonesian language material and students' literacy skills. With a deep understanding of the impacts and obstacles in implementing the learning model LoK-R, appropriate steps can be taken to increase the effectiveness of understanding the material.

Abstract

The research was based on the fact that some students who did not achieve the target of Tahfidz Qur'an at the Sekolah Dasar Islam Terpadu (SDIT) Al-Islam Sine Ngawi, East Java. The purpose of this research is the implementation of Tahfidz Qur'an learning and the students’ problem in not achieving the Tahfidz Qur'an target at SDIT Al-Islam Sine Ngawi. The research implementation uses a qualitative approach with case study research. Informants in this research are students, school principals, and Tahfidz teachers. Observation, interviews, and documentation are used in collecting the data. The results of the research are first, the implementation of Tahfidz Qur'an is carried out every day after the dhuha prayer in the congregation. The implementation of Tahfidz Qur’an starts with several learning activities, they are; pre-activity, while activity and post activity which  refer to lesson plan for the Tahfidz Qur'an subject. The assessment of Tahfidz Qur'an is the quantity of memorization, makrorijul hurf, and the science of recitation (tajwid). Second, the inhibiting factors that affect the inability of students in memorizing the Al-Qur'an are the different qualifications of students for memorizing the Qur'an and lack of the parental role.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to instill values. Pancasila, in the field for elementary age children at MIN 11 Ngawi, through a traditional competitions to commemorate the 79th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia at the Kenteng Sine Ngawi Independence Field. Qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. Research subjects were educators, Phase B students and parents. The data collection method uses triangulation through observation, interviews and documentation. Theme P5 of this research is Local Wisdom through Traditional Competitions. The research results show that in implementing P5 there are various stages, starting from planning, including the organizing team, school readiness, determining the theme, identifying traditional competitions, preparing activity plans, implementation and reflection. The implementation stage includes introduction to traditional competitions, delivery of material and discussions, traditional competition practice and reflection. The final stage or evaluation of P5 activities builds cultural awareness, teaches cultural values, evaluates competitions and inspires students. Through traditional competitions, children have made a real contribution, apart from gaining new knowledge and insight, they are also able to regenerate a sense of love for the nation's culture in this era of rapid globalization. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap bagaimana teknik  modifikasi perilaku anak dapat diubah, yakni mengubah perilaku maladaptif menuju perilaku adaptif. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif yang dilakukan pada anak di Kenteng Sumberejo Sine Ngawi Jawa Timur dengan fokus kepada anak-anak yang memiliki perilaku maladaptif. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa teknik modifikasi perilaku melalui pengelolaan diri dan pelatihan keterampilan sosial mampu mengubah perilaku anak, baik untuk mengantisipasi supaya tidak berperilaku negatif dengan menghilangkannya, maupun dapat menumbuh kembangkan perilaku yang positif bagi mereka. Maka dari itu, diperlukan komunikasi dan kerja sama antar masing-masing anggota keluarga melalui motivasi, pengertian, dan pengawasan yang dilakukan secara kontinyu. Hal ini demi terwujudnya modifikasi perilaku yang baik terhadap anak.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Songs and Chants method in English language learning for fifth-grade students at MI Al Huda Pengkol and to describe students’ responses toward its application. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach involving 27 students and one English teacher. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and focus group discussions, and analyzed using descriptive and triangulation techniques. The results show that the application of songs and chants increases student participation, enhances learning interest, and creates a more active and enjoyable classroom atmosphere. Students find it easier to remember vocabulary and sentence structures due to repetition and rhythm. Of the 27 students, the number who actively spoke English increased from 13 to 23. Challenges include limited facilities, infrastructure, and preparation in selecting and adapting songs according to the curriculum. Overall, this method proves to be an effective and enjoyable alternative for English learning at the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah level. Further research is suggested to develop more structured songs and chants materials.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was (1) to know the learning outcomes of PAI using the CTL method with the question and answer lecture method of SMK PGRI 9 Ngawi 2016/2017 Academic Year, (2) find out teh significant difference between the CTL method with the question and answer lecture method towards PAI learning outcomes of vocational students PGRI 9 NGAWI Academic Year 2016/2017. The form of this research is quantitative research to look for evidence of hypotheses, while this research strategy uses a comparative approach which is a study that aims to find evidence of whether there is a difference between two variables and if there is significant or on difference. In this study the population being the same as the research sample were all students of class X as many as 40 students, which were divided inti 2 classes, namely : TKR class X as many as 20 students and class X TKJ as many as 20 students. The result showed that first, the PAI learning outcomes of students using the CTL method were better than the Question and Answer Lecture method. This is shown based on the average value of the CTL method of 19.00 higher than the average value of the Question and Answer Lecture method of 13.70, secondly, there is a significant difference berween students’ PAI learnng outcomes using the CTL method and the Question and Answer Lecture Method. This is shown based on the calculation results obtained t count 2.10 is greater thah t table with a significance level of 5% of 2.021.Keywords : Learning Outcomes, Contextual Teaching and Learning, Question and Answer Lecture

Abstract

Dalam rangka memupuk kemampuan calon pendidik baik pengetahuan maupun keterampilan serta mempersiapkan generasi bangsa menuju merdeka belajar, diperlukan konsep perkuliahan perihal Microteaching, guna untuk mengembangkan dasar mengajar dan pengelolaan kelas, karena ini adalah bekal bagi calon guru sebelum terjun kedunia sekolah. Dengan adanya kurikulum merdeka, para calon pendidik diharapkan mampu memberikan inovasinya dalam rangka menerapkan kurikulum tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk mengembangkan kreativitas mahasiswa dalam mengajar. Jenis penelitian adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan instrumen penilaian menggunakan rubrik. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di STIT Muhammadiyah Tempurrejo Ngawi pada Program Studi PGMI tahun akademik 2021/2022. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa semester enam yang berjumlah tujuh orang dengan mata kuliah microteaching. Sedangkan hasil penelitian adalah 1) Perencanaan dengan nilai 79, 2) Penguasaan materi dengan nilai 76, 3) Strategi pembelajaran dengan skor 80, 4) Media pembelajaran dengan nilai 75, 5) Evaluasi pembelajaran dengan skor 76, dari keseluruhan instrumen penilaian ini dapat diambil rata rata adalah dengan skor 77 dan masuk kriteria BAIK.

Abstract

Efforts to create superior and competitive Human Resources are through an education process. This research aims to, among other things, the correlation berween interests and career motivation to continue studying at higher education for new students of PGMI STIT Muhammadiyah Tempurrejo Ngawi for the 2023/2024 Academic Year. The variables in the research are study interest and career motivation. The research method uses quantitative correlation research with data collection using questionnaires in the form of questionnaires via Google Form. The sample for this research consisted of 25 first semester students. The data analysis technique is simple linear regression with Prerequisite Test and Hypothesis Test. The results of the research show that there is a significant relationship between variables Continuing studies has various benefits, including the opportunity to get the right position and being able to increase confidence and abilities in certain scientific fields in the world of work and also as personal development itself as well as several benefits in implementing modern teaching, being able to recognize the potential of students, learning that focuses on students students where the presentation of material is project-based as an output from the Independent Curriculum.Keywords: Study Interests, Career motivation, Modern Teaching

Abstract

Since the beginning of 2020, Indonesian has been hit by the Covid-19 Pandemic, which has bad an impact on various sectors, including education, especially in the Ngawi region of East Java. Various efforts made by the Government include limiting community activities. The purpose of this study is to present information related to teacher perceptions regarding the challenges of implementing online learning at home due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Information on teacher perceptions regarding the challenges of implementing online learning uses case studies with a qualitative approach. The informants consisted of seven SD/MI teachers in the Widodaren sub-district, Ngawi Regency, Eats Java. The result of this study indicate that there is uneven socialization related to online learning so that the process of learning activities can be said to be less than optimal, the delivery of material is less than optimal, the burden of buying internet quotas, internet connections thet sometimes become sluggish learning styles that tend to be visual, and the teacher’s lack of flexibility in controlling student activities

Abstract

Human life in the 21st century has undergone many changes and this century also demands quality human resources, especially the world of education. The purpose of this study was to determine the Implementation and Effectiveness of Learning Media in Kedongharjo Village, Mantingan District, Ngawi Regency, East Java. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach. The research subjects were educators, students, and parents. The data collection technique is by using the observation method, interview method and documentation method. The results of the research show that, first, in the early stages of learning, educators attach pictures/photos in front of the class to be precise on the blackboard as a learning medium, then the educator delivers the material to students by intregrating the image media that has been provided, then the teacher asks quations ti the students about learning materials, to find out whether students understand the material well or not second, in order to create a pleasant learning atmosphere, image media is very affective to use in supporting the learning process, because its use is practical and inexpansive and able to foster the enthusiasm of students in the learning process in the 21st century.
