Abstract

Mathematics learning carried out at SMP Kristen Kefamenanu refers to a teacher-centered learning system. Microsoft Excel is one application that can be used as a medium for learning mathematics to make it easier for students to solve problems, especially those related to the presentation of graphs. SMP Kristen Kefamenanu has a Computer Laboratory which also has a Microsoft Excel application. The purpose of this service is to provide Charting training using Microsoft Excel as a means of mathematics learning tool to students in SMP Kristen Kefamenanu. The activity was carried out for two days, and during the course of the activity students showed enthusiasm and were able to follow directions during the activity. The results of feedback given by students on the answers to the satisfaction questionnaire showed that students gave categories of strongly agree and agree on 18 questions. This shows that the existence of PKM activities that have been carried out can help students better understand mathematics lessons delivered at school, as well as increase knowledge for students in using Microsoft Excel as a tool for mathematics learning.

Abstract

Microsoft excel is application that used as a learning aid in schools. The use of microsoft excel has been very commonly used in education activity. Microsoft excel is very useful to help learning process for students and educators. Microsoft excel has been known as a spreadsheet worksheet application program that is very helpful in data processing and reporting activities. It is equipped with calculation and graph creation features in the form of a number processor with various formulations to process data automatically including basic calculations, data management and data creation. SMP Kristen Kefamenanu had many students in the school that are still who do not understand and skilled in using computers. The lack of use of computers in learning materials except for Learning Information Technology and Computers (ICT) which is generally used as an extracurricular subject. The purpose of this community service activity is to introduce microsoft excel as a mathematics learning tool carried out at SMP Kristen Kefamenanu. The results of the activity can be knowing the basics of microsoft excel and finding mean values, median and single data mode with microsoft excel. At every lesson activity that has been conducted, students can show improvement in operating microsoft excel and can be seen from the test results provided.

Abstract

Informasi Artikel Abstrak Revisi: TT BB TTTT Penelitian ini betujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif Rotating Trio Exchange terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada kelas VII SMP Negeri Satu Atap Baunakan. Penelitian ini di latar belakangi oleh kurang bervariasinya penggunaan model pembelajaran yang dipakai oleh guru, minat belajar siswa rendah, dan mendapatkan hasil belajar di bawah Kriteria Ketuntasan Munimum (KKM). Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian Quasi Eksperimen. Subjek dalam penelitian adalah siswa-siswi kelas VII SMP Negeri Satu Atap Baunakan sedangkan objek penelitiannya adalah pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif Rotating Trio Exchange terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada kelas VII SMP Negeri Satu Atap Baunakan. Teknik pengambilan data melalui data tes hasil belajar dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji-t sampel independent. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan strategi Rotating Trio Exchange lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan nilai rata-rata yang menggunakan strategi Ekspositori, hal ini terlihat dari nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen 83 dan kelas kontrol 70. Maka hasil analisis data perhitungan program SPSS versi 17.0 for Windows nilai thitung = 2.318 > ttable = 2.042. Dengan demikian nilai thitung > ttabel pada taraf signifikan 5%, maka hipotesis (Ha) diterima. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif Rotating Trio Exchange terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada kelas VII SMP Negeri Satu Atap Baunakan. Abstract This study aims to determine the effect of the Rotating Trio Exchange cooperative learning model on student learning outcomes in class VII SMP Negeri Satu Atap Baunakan. This research is motivated by the lack of variation in the use of learning models used by teachers, low student interest in learning, and obtaining learning outcomes under the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM). This type of research is Quasi Experimental research. The subjects in the study were class VII students of SMP Negeri Satu Atap Baunakan while the object was the effect of the Rotating Trio Exchange cooperative learning model on student learning outcomes in class VII SMP Negeri Satu Atap Baunakan. Data collection techniques through data on learning outcomes and documentation tests. The data analysis technique used is the independent sample t test. Based on the research that has been done, it shows that the average score of student learning outcomes using the Rotating Trio Exchange strategy is higher than the average score using the Expository strategy, this can be seen from the average score of the experimental class 83 and the control class 70. Then the results of the analysis of the calculation data for the SPSS program version 17.0 for Windows, the value of tcount = 2,318 > ttable = 2,042. Thus the value of tcount > ttable at a significant level of 5%, then the hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of the Rotating Trio Exchange cooperative learning model on student learning outcomes in class VII SMP Negeri Satu Atap Baunakan. Abstract

Masalah dari penelitian ini adalah rendahnya komunikasi matematis siswa kelas VIII A SMP Negeri Oenenu pada materi statistika. Sehingga tujuan untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut maka diterapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode tes dan observasi. Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan beberapa tahap penelitian yaitu perencanaan ( planing ), tindakan ( acting ), observasi ( observasi ), refleksi ( reflecting ). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang diperoleh bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw dapat meningkatkan komunikasi matematis siswa. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari presentase siklus I jumlah siswa yang tuntas sebanyak 12 siswa dan meningkat pada siklus II sebanyak 24 siswa. Persentase ketuntasan kelas pada siklus I sebesar 44,44% dan mengalami peningkatan sebesar 88,89%. Permasalahan penelitian ini adalah rendahnya komunikasi matematis siswa kelas VIII A SMP Negeri Oenenu pada materi statistika. Sehingga tujuan untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut adalah dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode tes dan observasi. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan beberapa tahapan penelitian yaitu perencanaan (planning), tindakan (acting), observasi (observing), refleksi (reflecting). Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh, penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw dapat meningkatkan komunikasi matematis siswa. Hal ini terlihat dari persentase pada siklus I jumlah siswa yang tuntas sebanyak 12 siswa dan meningkat pada siklus II sebanyak 24 siswa. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze students' mathematical connection abilities in solving mathematical problems based on learning styles using descriptive qualitative research. The subjects of the study were students of SMAN Binino by taking 3 students, namely 1 dominant visual student, 1 dominant auditory student and 1 dominant kinesthetic student. Data were obtained from questionnaires, written tests and interviews. The analysis was carried out by collecting data, reducing data, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study showed that the mathematical connection abilities of students with a visual learning style were that students were able to make connections between topics, mathematical connections with other fields of science and mathematical connections of students with everyday life . The mathematical connection abilities of students with an auditory learning style were that students were able to make connections between topics, mathematical connections of students with everyday life but were unable to make mathematical connections with other fields of science. The mathematical connection abilities of students with a kinesthetic learning style were that students had difficulty in understanding concepts and doing calculations so that students were unable to make mathematical connections in solving problems.

Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil observasi awal dan wawancara terhadap salah satu guru matematika, masih terdapat banyak siswa yang belum mampu dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal matematika. Hal ini diperlihatkan melalui nilai tugas dan nilai ulangan dimana kebanyakan nilai tugas dan nilai ulangan siswa yang masih sangat rendah, yaitu belum mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM). Oleh karena itu, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh assesment diagnostik kognitif terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa SMPN Nunbai. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah jenis penelitian kuantitatif yang dianalisis menggunakan analisis regresi linear sederhana. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMPN Nunbai. Sampel yang dijadikan dalam penelitian yaitu seluruh kelas yang berjumlah 25 orang. Instrument yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes dan lembar validasi. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah assesment diagnostik kognitif dan tes hasil belajar. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linear sederhana, sedangkan uji hipotesis menggunakan uji-t untuk mengetahui pengaruh assesment diagnostik kognitif terhadap hasil belajar matematika. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diketahui nilai sehingga terdapat pengaruh yang positif antara assesment diagnostik kognitif terhadap hasil belajar matematika. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengaruh assesment diagnostik kognitif terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa SMPN Nunbai sebesar . Abstract Based on the results of preliminary observations and interviews with one of the math teachers, there are still many students who have not been able to solve math problems. This is shown through assignment grades and test scores where most students' assignment grades and test scores are still very low, which have not reached the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM). Therefore, the purpose of this study was to determine how much influence cognitive diagnostic assessment has on the mathematics learning outcomes of Nunbai Junior High School students. The type of research used is a type of quantitative research analyzed using simple linear regression analysis. The population in this study were all seventh grade students of Nunbai Junior High School. The sample used in the study was the entire class VII^A which amounted to 25 people. The instruments used in this study were tests and validation sheets. Data collection techniques in this study are cognitive diagnostic assessment and learning outcomes test. Data analysis used is simple linear regression analysis, while hypothesis testing uses t-test to determine the effect of cognitive diagnostic assessment on math learning outcomes. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the value of t_count>t_table (4.192>1.714) so that there is a positive influence between cognitive diagnostic assessment on math learning outcomes. So it can be concluded that the effect of cognitive diagnostic assessment on the mathematics learning outcomes of Nunbai Junior High School students is 43.3%.

Abstract

Abstrak: Salah satu kemampuan berhitung yang penting adalah kemampuan perkalian. Namun, masih banyak siswa yang memanfaatkan kemampuan menghafal jika diberikan soal perkalian. Untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan ini, pengabdi melaksanakan workshop metode Jarimatika. Meskipun metode ini sudah banyak digunakan namun masih terdapat siswa yang belum mengenal metode ini. Oleh karena itu pengabdian ini selain bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan jarimatika kepada siswa tetapi juga untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berhitung siswa khususnya perkalian. Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan di SDK Yaswari Niki-Niki pada siswa kelas VI yang berjumlah 24 orang. Pengabdian dilaksanakan dalam bentuk pemberian pelatihan teknik berhitung dengan jarimatika. Pengabdian diawali dengan memberikan Pretest untuk mengetahui kemampuan operasi hitung dasar yang meliputi perkalian bilangan 1 sampai dengan 5 dan diakhiri dengan pemberian Posttest. Berdasarkan nilai Posttest yang diperoleh, hanya ada 2 orang siswa yang memperoleh nilai rendah masing masing 60 dan 40 sedangkan siswa lain memperoleh minimal 70 untuk nilai Posttest. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa 83,33% siswa memahami dengan baik materi yang diberikan.Abstract: One of the important counting skills is the ability of multiplication. However, there are still many students who take advantage of memorization skills if given multiplication questions. To solve this problem, devotees conducted workshops on the Jarimatics method. Although this method has been widely used, there are still students who are not familiar with this method. Therefore, this devotion not only aims to introduce jarimatics to students but also to improve students' numeracy skills, especially multiplication. This service was carried out at SDK Yaswari Niki-Niki for grade VI students totaling 24 people. This service is carried out in the form of providing training in counting techniques with jarimatics. The service begins with giving a Pretest to determine the ability of basic calculation operations which include multiplying numbers 1 to 5 and ends with giving a Posttest. Based on the Posttest scores obtained, there were only 2 students who obtained low scores of 60 and 40 respectively while other students obtained a minimum of 70 for Posttest scores. This shows that 83.33% of students understand the material provided well.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri Fatumfaun dalam menyelesaikan soal AKM berdasarkan teori Newman. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskripsi kualitatif, yang dilakukan pada siswa kelas VIII A SMP Negeri Fatumfaun yang berjumlah 23 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tes tertulis, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Instrumen tes terdiri dari 3 butir soal AKM Numerasi yang telah di validasi. Teknik analisis data digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Jenis kesalahan siswa dianalisis menggunakan metode Newman, yaitu 1) kesalahan memahami, 2) Kesalahan transformasi, 3) kesalahan keterampilan proses, dan 4) kesalahan penulisan jawaban akhir. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diperoleh kesimpulan yang menunjukkan bahwa siswa melakukan kesalahan pada tahapan-tahapan Newman, yaitu kesalahan memahami sebesar 53,62%, kesalahan transformasi sebesar 65,21%, kesalahan keterampilan proses sebesar 71,01%, dan kesalahan menuliskan jawaban akhir 72,46%.

Abstract

Pembelajaran di SMPN 1 Kefamenanu telah berjalan sebagaimana mestinya, namun guru belum menggunakan media pembelajaran khususnya memanfaatkan teknologi dalam pembelajaran. Selain proses pembelajaran di kelas, guru juga belum menggunakan media teknologi dalam proses assesmen. Aplikasi Wondershare Quiz Creator (WQC) adalah aplikasi yang digunakan untuk membuat soal multimedia interaktif, melalui WQC guru dapat menyusun berbagai bentuk soal dan memiliki level yang berbeda. Selain itu aplikasi Geogebra sebagai alat bantu dalam pembelajaran matematika di kelas untuk mengonstruksi, mendemonstrasikan, maupun memvisualisasikan. Tujuan pengabdian  untuk memberikan pelatihan bagi guru dan siswa untuk mengetahui pembelajaran berbasis teknologi pada aplikasi Wondershare Quiz Creator dan Geogebra. Metode kegiatan terdiri dari tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan dan tahap tindak lanjut. SMPN 1 Kefamenanu dipilih untuk pelaksanaan pengabdian ini karena sudah dilengkapi dengan lab komputer sehingga guru dan siswa mendapatkan wawasan baru dalam membuat dan juga menggunakan aplikasi pembelajaran baik untuk membuat soal maupun untuk menyelesaikan soal. Berdasarkan hasil angket respon guru terhadap aplikasi  WQC, aplikasi tersebut menambah wawasan bagi guru dalam pembuatan soal dalam tipe soal dan level soal yang berbeda, dapat menarik minat siswa dalam mengerjakan soal – soal, tampilan soal yang menarik serta tidak membutuhkan waktu yang lama dalam menyusun soal dan mengoreksi hasil pekerjaan siswa. Sedangkan pada aplikasi Geogebra pada hasil pre test dan post test diperoleh hasil bahwa terjadi peningkatan pemahaman siswa.
