Abstract

Indonesia is a country based on the village. The number of villages in Indonesia increases every year due to regional expansion in several regions. The division serves to reduce disadvantaged areas. Development management is needed to reduce underdeveloped areas. One of them is village development activities that must be able to give birth to creative and innovative habits. The Village Innovation Knowledge Management System is a medium to initiate the transformation of knowledge and practice between villages. The system needs to be assessed and evaluate its performance to see how far the level of success is on the user side. Based on these problems, it is necessary to develop the User Experience Lifecycle (UXL) method. UXL has four stages, namely analysis, design, prototype, and evaluation. Interviews were conducted with 7 participants to find the main problems. The problems obtained are then analyzed and converted into a system that can be used by users. The system that has been created is then started with the use of testing using think-aloud and System Usability Scale. The results of think-aloud show a positive impression of the participants. While the System Usability Scale gets a score of 74.5 which is categorized as good (B).

Abstract

The Learning Management System is a supporter of online learning management so that the teaching and learning process remains quality like face-to-face. This study aims to develop a mobile learning management system application using the flutter framework for students at the Telkom Purwokerto Institute of Technology with the User Centered Design method. This research creates a mobile-based Learning Management System that can be accessed and functions according to the needs of users, namely students. The application test results show that all functions run according to user needs so that this system can help make online learning easier via smartphones.

Abstract

The Information Application for Souvenirs in Purwokerto is a mobile-based application that can be used to find information about souvenirs and gift shops in the city of Purwokerto. This application is intended for local tourists, immigrants and local residents to make it easier to find souvenirs in Purwokerto. Of course, when discussing travel or tourism, it cannot be separated from souvenirs, souvenirs, or souvenirs. This application is designed to provide information about souvenirs in the city of Purwokerto from products, shops, location of gift shops, prices for souvenirs and others. This study designed a prototype of information application for souvenirs in Purwokerto using the User Experience Lifecycle method, the method proposed by Hartson and Pyla to develop user experience with an emphasis on usability and user experience aspects. This method is divided into four stages, namely analysis, design, prototype, and evaluation. Testing in this study uses usability testing on the results of the medium fidelity level prototype with the System Usability Scale (SUS) method at the evaluation stage. The results of usability testing using the SUS method get a score of 74.17 or B (Good) where the score meets the minimum standard of the SUS score of 68. Usability measurement on the prototype application for souvenirs in Purwokerto has met the efficiency level with an overall relative efficiency value of 88 .5%, and the percentage effectiveness level is 91.3% of the results of task completion by all respondents. Thus the application prototype for souvenirs in Purwokerto has met the usability value in terms of efficiency, effectiveness and satisfaction. Based on this, this research has succeeded in applying the User Experience Lifecycle method to application design and usability testing with the System Usability Scale (SUS) which has exceeded the minimum standard. Therefore, the application design for souvenirs in Purwokerto based on user experience and needs can be carried out to the application development or production stage.   Keywords : Gift, Application Prototype, User Experience Lifecycle, Usability, System Usability Scale (SUS)

Abstract

RT047/RW008 or Jl. Aries is a Neighborhood Association located in Sungai Besar Village, Banjarbaru City, South Kalimantan province. Within this RT environment, weekly and monthly activities are often held. One of the activities in this area is the monthly waste fee. This activity has been around for a long time when this environment was formed. However, in this monthly waste fee activity, we still use the recording method by recording data on a physical citizen membership fee card. In addition, the manufacture of this garbage contribution card still uses the service of making a contribution card which requires traveling and also incurs some costs. In the process of monthly waste contribution activities, it often results in the loss or damage of the citizen membership dues card, in which the treasurer has to make another card at the contribution card making service. Based on the problems found, a solution to the problem that can be found is to design an Android-based application that can run on Android Smartphone devices. This application will be designed using the Rapid Application Development method which will go through the process of data collection to application design. This application can perform the administrative process of digital waste dues. In addition, in the application there is also a reminder feature that will be sent to Whatsapp for every registered member of the group. Because this application runs on Android Smartphone devices, it can make it easier for users to input data and change data anywhere and anytime. The method used for designing this application is to analyze to find out what is needed in an application that you want to build. The final result of the implementation process in the form of Java programming and test results by users. By using the white box testing and black box testing methods, the result is that the application can run well and in accordance with the needs required by the user. With this android application, the RT environment can be more focused and become an RT that can be in line with current technological developments

Abstract

The Ma'arif NU Ajibarang Education Organizing Foundation (YYPMNU) is a foundation engaged in education in the Ajibarang area. There are 4 types of UPT operating under the auspices of the foundation, including SMK Ma'arif NU 1 Ajibarang, SMK Ma'arif NU 2 Ajibarang, STIKES Ibnu Sina Ajibarang, and Modern Islamic Boarding School Ibnu Sina Ajibarang. The management of the foundation's personnel attendance has been carried out by utilizing information technology but it is still not effective and efficient because the presence using fingerprints causes long queues when they come to work, so it is necessary to develop an employee attendance system that can be accessed online by all employees without having to queue. The employee attendance system has been successfully developed based on Responsive Web Apps (RWA) which features presence location coverage between employees and UPT locations using geolocation data available on employee smartphones. The results of the performance evaluation of the employee attendance system using google lighthouse resulted in an average performance of 41.5.

Abstract

Special School B (SLB B) Yakut Purwokerto is an extraordinary school that focuses on handling Deaf Children with Special Needs (ABK) under the auspices of the Tama Business Welfare Foundation (YAKUT). In the process of monitoring student progress for guardians, SLB B Yakut Purwokerto still uses manuals and serves individual guardians. This is of course very ineffective and efficient. In addition, teachers also use social media in the form of WhatsApp to contact students' parents when students have finished learning activities at school. The development of technology is currently very rapid and it is appropriate for SLB B Yakut Purwokerto to develop monitoring activities using an effective and efficient system. Based on a review of several previous studies, User Centered Design (UCD) is an effective and most frequently used method to build an application. In understanding the user's cognition, character, and attitude, the design of the monitoring application for SLB B YAKUT Purwokerto students must focus on the user by applying the User Centered Design (UCD) method so that the application seems more interactive. The collection of user needs is carried out using three ways, including observation, interviews, and collecting the required documents. There are 5 stages that must be passed to implement the UCD method, plan the human-centered process, specifically the context of use, specify user and organizational requirements, product design solutions, and evaluate design against user requirements. The result of this research is that the design of the SoBat Yakut Monitoring System application design has been successfully completed to the prototype stage.

Abstract

Student Affairs at Telkom Purwokerto Institute of Technology has a lot of information and knowledge that all students need to know. However, this information and knowledge have not been maximally conveyed to students. Student affairs have a scope of work to handle the Student Creativity Program (PKM), Student Organization (Ormawa), scholarships, Student Activity Transcripts (TAK), and lectures. Therefore, one of the efforts to facilitate Student Affairs in conveying various knowledge is a Student Knowledge Management System mobile application. User Experience student KMS mobile application designed for mobile devices that focus on interface design. The development of this application interface uses the Lean UX method. The Lean UX method has four stages: Declare Assumptions, Create an MVP, Run an Experiment, and Feedback and Research. The application design is evaluated using the Enhanced Cognitive Walkthrough (ECW) to produce a prototype of a knowledge management system or Knowledge Management System for IT Telkom Purwokerto student affairs according to the user's wishes. The test results show success in all tasks, so it can be concluded that the application design has achieved a good user experience.

Abstract

In recent years, there has been a change in climate which has had quite a negative impact on various sectors of life. The existence of extreme climate change has become a widely discussed issue, including at the university level. The academic community as agents of change should be an example of sustainable development in the campus environment. One of the efforts to realize the concept of sustainable development is to apply the Green Campus concept. Several indicators in realizing a green campus are campus management policies that are oriented towards environmental management, including activities to save water, paper, and electricity, procurement of Green Open Space (RTH), and waste management by applying the 3R principles (reduce, reuse, recycle). UIN Jakarta currently focuses on the green environment, which focuses on activities related to the conservation and maintenance of environmental quality in all energy and natural resource consumption activities. However, the frequent changes in weather, shifts in the seasons, and the size of the land that must be maintained have made watering plants unable to rely on human labor alone. Moreover, the pandemic conditions in Indonesia have caused almost all employees to work from home, so plant maintenance will be hampered for plant watering activities. In this regard, this research proposes the creation of an automated plant watering system using a Fuzzy Inference System. The experiment was carried out using input from three scenarios including soil moisture sensors, temperature sensors, and rain sensors on the output valve. From the experiments carried out, the expected valve output is in accordance with that produced by the raspberry pi. Such as when the ground is dry, the weather is not raining, and the temperature is moderate, the valve remains on according to the fuzzy rules that have been made. The results of the study noted that this tool was in accordance with what was needed and could operate properly

Abstract

A new type of human coronavirus was discovered in December 2019 in Wuhan, China. In humans, coronaviruses usually cause respiratory tract infections, ranging from the common cold to serious diseases such as Middle East Respiratory (MERS) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS). This new type of coronavirus was later named Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-COV2) and caused Coronavirus Disease-2019 (COVID-19). COVID-19 can cause mild to severe symptoms. So, wearing a mask and keeping a distance is very important to stop the spread of COVID-19. In previous research, a deep learning model has been developed to identify whether the person is wearing a mask or not. In previous studies, the classification was limited to whether humans wore masks or not. There is no classification as to whether the use of masks is right or wrong and whether the masks worn are masks that are in accordance with the recommendations of the Ministry of Health. So that in this study, the detection system for the use of masks is able to detect the use of masks in accordance with the recommendations of the Indonesian Ministry of Health which refers to the interim WHO Guidelines June 5, 2020, regarding recommendations regarding the use of masks in the context of COVID-19, namely the use of cloth masks, medical masks, and masks. can ensure the cover of the mouth and nose, and adjust to the bridge of the nose. The result is a system with the SSDLite Mobilenet V2 model has the highest FPS compared to a system using a system with SSDMNV2. That is, the maximum FPS obtained is 3.57 FPS and the minimum FPS is 3.45 FPS

Abstract

Today's rapid development of technology makes it easy to do everything from shopping to reading today's news to studying online and more. This technology has been widely used, for example in government agencies, schools, hospitals, clinics, and so on. Digital or computerized information technology can improve work efficiency. The technology present in the current era of globalization has developed, including attendance or attendance systems using fingerprints, irises, and RFID cards. Many large companies, SMEs, and schools take advantage of technological developments, therefore this research wants to implement IoT technology developments at YPPMNU Ajibarang because of the large number of employees, there are around 200 active employees. Moreover, the attendance itself is carried out every day, of course, the attendance data that they process is very large. The Ma`arif NU Education Organizing Foundation (YPPMNU) Ajibarang is a foundation engaged in education in the Ajibarang area. YPPMNU has four technical implementing units (UPT), Ma'arif NU 1 Ajibarang Vocational School, Ma'arif NU 2 Ajibarang Vocational School, Ibnu Sina Ajibarang STIKES, and Ibnu Sina Ajibarang Modern Islamic Boarding School, with an active number of around 200 active employees. YPPMNU already uses an information system called the YPPMNU Ajibarang Personnel Management Information System, which has functions such as employee capabilities. The pandemic has brought the work system from working directly from the office to working from home. Previously, YPPMNU had its own attendance system using a web-based application. This study aims to develop an IoT-based attendance system using the prototype method and evaluate an IoT-based attendance system using the UAT testing technique so that it can be well received by users. The research method used in this design is to use the prototype method. The results of this study are an evaluation of how the IoT-based attendance system uses the UAT method, and the IoT-based attendance system uses the prototype method.
