Abstract

The JekNyong application is a platform that allows the people of Banyumas Regency to sell household waste for recycling. However, the application’s user adoption rate remains low, with only 3.33% of families using it and a rating of 3.4 on the Google Play Store. This is due to an unintuitive interface design and limited feature accessibility. An initial usability test showed a task success rate of 75%, a time-based efficiency of 0.0206 goals/second, and a System Usability Scale (SUS) score of 63. The design development process followed the Design Thinking methodology through the stages of empathy, problem definition, ideation, prototyping, and testing. Several improvements were made to navigation, feature accessibility, and app layout. The second round of testing revealed significant improvements: the task success rate increased to 95.83%, time-based efficiency rose to 0.0382 goals/second, and the SUS score jumped to 86. These results indicate that the design improvements successfully enhanced the application's effectiveness and efficiency in accessing features.

Abstract

In the current era of digital transformation, the rapid integration of healthcare services is crucial to meet patient expectations and improve service delivery. Klinik Putri faces challenges such as long queues and difficulties in booking doctor appointments, which negatively impact patient satisfaction. This study aims to design a user-friendly, web-based doctor reservation system using the Design Thinking methodology, which consists of five stages: empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. Usability testing was conducted using the System Usability Scale (SUS), a standardized tool for evaluating system usability. The results showed an average SUS score of 83, placing the system in the “acceptable” category, Grade B, and receiving an “excellent” rating according to the Adjective Rating scale. These findings demonstrate that the proposed website design effectively addresses user needs, enhances the user experience, and contributes to improving the efficiency of healthcare services at Klinik Putri.

Abstract

Sistem pemantauan pelanggaran siswa berbasis website di SMPNegeri 1 Sumbang menggunakan PHP native dan MySQLi untuk mengatasiketerbatasan pencatatan manual. Melalui wawancara dan survei, ditemukanbahwa metode manual menyebabkan ineffisiensi, potensi kesalahan, dansulitnya analisis data. Dengan implementasi sistem ini, diharapkan efisiensi,akurasi, dan kemudahan analisis data dapat meningkat, membantu guru danpihak sekolah memberikan peringatan serta tindakan preventif kepada siswa.Evaluasi menggunakan pengujian blackbox dan SUS menunjukkan tingkatkepuasan yang tinggi, dengan skor rata-rata 83.75, menegaskan kemudahanpenggunaan sistem ini. Dengan demikian, sistem ini diharapkan dapatmeningkatkan kualitas pendidikan dan pembinaan karakter siswa secarakeseluruhan, mengikuti proses pengembangan yang melibatkan perencanaankebutuhan, desain sistem, pengembangan, implementasi, dan pengujian.

Abstract

This research centers on the redesign of Waroeng Kita, a digital marketplace platform developed to facilitate transactions for Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) and Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in rural Indonesia. An initial usability assessment conducted for this study revealed a low System Usability Scale (SUS) score of 49.16, classifying the platform as "Not Acceptable" and highlighting significant usability challenges. To address these issues, the study systematically applied the User-Centered Design (UCD) methodology, following an iterative process aligned with the ISO 9241-210:2019 standard. Across two design iterations , critical usability flaws, including a static cart, unclear input forms, and unfamiliar terminology —were systematically resolved based on direct user feedback. The final evaluation after the second iteration demonstrated a substantial improvement, with the average SUS score increasing to 70. This score elevates the system to a "Marginally Acceptable" status (Grade C), confirming that the UCD approach is highly effective for enhancing system usability, particularly for users in rural settings with limited digital literacy. The study provides practical insights for creating more inclusive digital solutions in similar socio-economic contexts.

Abstract

Pencatatan data pertanian padi oleh penyuluh diKecamatan Bobotsari masih dilakukan secara manual, sehinggarawan kesalahan dan tidak efisien. Penelitian ini bertujuanmerancang aplikasi mobile pencatatan pertanian menggunakanpendekatan User Centered Design (UCD), yang mengutamakanketerlibatan pengguna. Proses perancangan dilakukan melaluiobservassi, wawancara, identifikasi kebutuhan, dan pembuatanprototipe Low dan High-Fidelity menggunakan figma. Evaluasidilakukan menggunakan System Usability Scale (SUS) terhadapenam penyuluh. Hasilnya menunjukkan nilai rata-rata SUSsebesar 85 yang termasuk dalam kategori “Sangat Baik”.Desain dinilai sesuai kebutuhan pengguna, mudah dipahami,dan membantu efisiensi kerja penyuluh. Abstract

Petani tambak udang di Desa Sawojajar, Brebes,masih menggunakan metode manual dalam pencatatankeuangan, seperti mencatat transaksi dan gaji di buku tulis. Halini menyebabkan kesalahan pencatatan, kehilangan data, dankesulitan dalam pelaporan. Untuk mengatasi permasalahantersebut, penelitian ini merancang dan membangun sebuahsistem pencatatan keuangan berbasis website menggunakanframework Laravel dan metode Agile Software Development.Sistem ini mencakup fitur login, pencatatan transaksikeuangan, pengelolaan data barang dan karyawan, sertaperhitungan gaji dan absensi. Proses pengembangan dilakukansecara iteratif melalui tahapan perencanaan, implementasi,pengujian, dokumentasi, deployment, dan pemeliharaan. Hasilpengujian menggunakan metode Black-Box menunjukkanseluruh fitur berjalan sesuai fungsinya dengan tingkatkeberhasilan 100%. Sementara itu, hasil User AcceptanceTesting (UAT) menunjukkan tingkat penerimaan sistem sebesar96%. Selain itu, sistem mampu meningkatkan efisiensipencatatan hingga 59,35% dibandingkan metode manual.Dengan demikian, sistem ini terbukti efektif dalammeningkatkan akurasi, efisiensi, dan transparansi pengelolaankeuangan tambak udang, serta dapat digunakan secara mandirioleh petani tambak.Kata kunci— deteksi tumor otak, visi komputer, MRI, deteksiobjek, yolo

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan sistem manajemen konten berita berbasis website dengan integrasi Gemini AI untuk mendukung otomatisasi dan personalisasi konten. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem berfungsi sesuai spesifikasi dan mendukung distribusi informasi secara cepat, terstruktur, serta mudah diakses. Pengujian fungsionaldan acceptance testing menunjukkan bahwa sistem mudah digunakan, antarmuka sederhana, dan mampu mempercepatproses penulisan berita. Abstract

This research aims to design the interface of a web-based reservation system at Infokus Photo Studio using a Design Thinking approach. Obstacles in the reservation process, such as schedule conflicts, unavailability of time slot display, and late confirmation, were identified through customer questionnaires. The Design Thinking method was applied in five stages: empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. The research was conducted by identifying user needs, designing ideas, creating prototypes, and conducting tests. Testing using the System Usability Scale (SUS) involved eight respondents and resulted in an average score of 87, which is classified as acceptable in the acceptability range, a B on the Value Scale, and very good on the Adjective Rating. These results show that this system design successfully simplifies the reservation process, reduces operational errors, and improves service quality and smooth studio operations.

Abstract

Universities increasingly recognize that employability and civic competencies are formed not only through formal coursework but also through co-curricular and extracurricular engagement. In many campuses, however, activity reporting remains fragmented, highly manual, and submitted late, which results in verification bottlenecks and incomplete student records. This study develops a web-based Student Activity Transcript (SAT) application to support end-to-end submission, verification, and accumulation of student activity points. A gamification approach is embedded to reduce reporting friction and sustain participation. The design follows the Mechanics–Dynamics–Aesthetics (MDA) framework so that each game element is justified from rules to run-time interaction patterns and the intended user experience. The system is implemented using a PHP web framework and a relational database, and it integrates role-based workflows for students, academic advisers, and student affairs administrators. Functional validation is performed through specification-based (black-box) testing to confirm that critical workflows—registration, login, activity submission, verification, and transcript generation—operate as intended. The resulting artifact demonstrates a reusable pattern for universities that need to digitize activity transcripts while ensuring that gamification is applied in a structured, theory-informed manner. This work contributes to TAK governance workflow that preserves institusional verification while adding engagement loops, and an implementation and test blueprint that can be adapted to other campuses adopting transcript or digital badge recognition system.
