Abstract

Indonesia has an unique and interesting geographical position, which is characterized by a rich variety of flora and fauna. One of the wealth of biodiversity is rare protected flower plants (Endemic Flora) where hunting and illegal trade are some of the factors that cause biodiversity to be threatened. Due to the fact that the threat and extinction of biological resources is increasing, the status of a species' scarcity is determined. Banten is known for its diversity of animals, but because there is a lack of media to introduce endangered species in Banten, the existing endangered species are not known, so they are threatened with extinction. This study aims to describe the scientific attitude of students on the theme of Protected Flora and Fauna in Banten in Augmented Reality-Based Biodiversity Learning. This type of research is quasy-experimental research with nonequivalent control group design. The study population was all second semester students majoring in Science Education who took the Biodiversity course with a purposive sampling technique. The research was carried out in the even semester of 2022/2023. Data collection techniques used non-test techniques, namely scientific attitude observation sheets and scientific attitude questionnaires. The results showed that the scientific attitude of science teacher candidates based on discussion observation sheets obtained an average score of 86.88% in the good category, while the scientific attitude based on the questionnaire obtained an average score of 78.88% in the good category. The highest scientific attitude dimension possessed by students is the dimension of respect for data or facts, while the lowest scientific attitude possessed by students is the attitude of perseverance.

Abstract

Background: Perceptions of patient satisfaction influence the quality of the public health center (Pusat Kesehatan Masyarakat, Puskesmas) services. This study aimed to determine the differences in the level of patient satisfaction with national health insurance and the accreditation status of Puskesmas. Methods: This quantitative analytical study using a cross-sectional method was conducted at four Puskesmas in Majalengka Regency from October to November 2021 using a purposive sampling technique. The instrument used was the community satisfaction instrument (IKM-29) questionnaire , with the variable measured being the level of satisfaction. Data was transformed into numerical form using Rasch modelling and analyzed using the Chi-Square, independent-t, and one-way ANOVA tests. Results: A total of 273 respondents consisted of insured (Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional, JKN) and non-insured (non-JKN) respondents, resulting in the satisfaction mean value between JKN and non-JKN patients of 2.50 and 2.51 (p-value= 0.926). Satisfaction at Puskesmas levels 1 (Dasar), 2 (Madya), 3 (Utama), and 4 (Paripurna) was 2.15, 2.23, 2.56, 3.03, respectively (p-value = 0.002), indicating an increase in the level of satisfaction at the Puskesmas accreditation level. Conclusion: There is no difference in satisfaction between respondents using JKN and non-JKN. However, there is an increase in satisfaction related to the Puskesmas accreditation level. It is recommended for each Puskesmas to maintain the same service to all patients and improve the quality of service, especially in service dimensions that are considered inferior. Additionally, it is necessary to review the minimum standard value for accreditation programs.

Abstract

Learning outcomes are fundamental elements in education that shape the direction of learning experiences and provide a concrete path for academic success. This study aims to determine the influence of adversity intelligence and learning approaches on student learning results. This study employs a factorial design, specifically a 2 x 2 factorial design. The target population and sample for this research consist of Class XI students enrolled at SMKN 1 Keramatwatu during the 2023/2024 academic year. The research sample consisted of one hundred class XI pupils, selected from a total population of two hundred individuals. This research employed random sampling procedures to achieve the appropriate sample size for their investigation. The research findings indicate that there are notable disparities in the impact of learning methods on student learning outcomes (F = 7.911 and Sig. value = 0.005 <0.05). Additionally, there are significant variations in the influence of adversity intelligence on student learning outcomes (F = 7.922 and Sig. value = 0.001 < 0.05). Furthermore, there is a significant interaction effect between learning methods and adversity intelligence on student learning outcomes. This study demonstrates that educators has the capacity to employ a wide range of effective teaching methodologies in order to enhance students' learning outcomes. In addition, educators have the capacity to evaluate students' resilience and adaptation in both academic and non-academic settings.
