Abstract

Abstrak—Saat ini, salah satu sumber Energi Baru Terbarukan (EBT) yang menjanjikan dan banyak digunakan adalah energi matahari. Listrik dapat dihasilkan dari cahaya matahari menggunakan photovoltaic (PV). Namun, saat ini daya keluaran yang dihasilkan PV masih rendah yaitu antara 5% - 16%. Oleh kerena itu dibutuhkan suatu cara untuk meningkatkan daya keluarannya agar listrik yang dihasilkan semakin besar. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, akan dilakukan penelitian untuk meningkatkan keluaran daya PV dengan menggunakan kombinasi metode konvergensi cahaya dan metode penjejak matahari. Metode konvergensi cahaya dilakukan dengan media lensa fresnel dan metode penjejak matahari dilakukan dengan Motor DC berbasis waktu. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama 3 hari yang berlokasi di Kampus Telkom University, Bandung. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggabungan kedua metode tersebut berhasil meningkatkan daya keluaran PV pada hari pertama sebesar 6,7882 watt atau 68%. Pada hari kedua berhasil meningkatkan daya keluaran PV sebesar 7,8655 watt atau 79%. Pada hari ketiga berhasil meningkatkan daya keluaran PV sebesar 6,9700 watt atau 70%. Jadi, rata-rata kenaikan daya keluaran PV yang dilengkapi dengan kombinasi metode konvergensi cahaya dan metode penjejak matahari pada penelitian ini adalah sebesar 7,20789 watt atau 72%. Abstract

Abstract—Currently on the island of Nusa Penida only electricity is supplied from the diesel electric power plant Kutampi. The plan is that in 2022 there will be an additional source of electricity that comes from PV solar energy. In addition to the two power plants already mentioned, this study will examine the option of adding wind power plant. The characteristics of renewable energy generators are intermittent and non-dispatchable, so a BESS (battery energy storage system) is also used as power smoothing and frequency control. The planning for the optimal hybrid power plant in Nusa Penida aims to increase the contribution of renewable energy and reduce the COE (Cost of Electricity) lower than the existing COE of Diesel Power Plant in 2018, that is 19 cent$/kWh. As well as testing the stability of the system frequency with the allowable range according to the Java, Madura, and Bali Grid Code, which ranges from 49.0 Hz – 51.0 Hz. Abstract

Abstrak Pemanfaatan energi matahari sebagai sumber energi listrik alternatif sudah mulai banyak digunakan saat ini. Cahaya atau sinar matahari dapat dikonversi menjadi listrik menggunakan teknologi sel surya atau fotovoltaik. Namun daya yang dihasilkan panel surya saat ini belum maksimal. Hal ini disebabkan karena adanya pengaruh dari efisiensi panel surya, baik dalam pemilihan bahan pembuatan panel surya, luas panel, temperatur dan intensitas cahaya matahari. Pada tugas akhir ini dirancang sebuah sistem battery control unit MPPT (maximum power point tracking) menggunakan perturb and observe (P&O) algorithm. Algoritma ini dapat memaksimalkan keluaran daya dari panel surya dan menyesuaikan dengan tegangan beban. Parameter yang diukur dari sistem berupa tegangan, arus, serta daya yang dihasilkan panel surya dan synchronous buck converter. Hasil dari tugas akhir ini berupa perancangan Battery Control Unit (BCU) yang dapat mengatur proses pengisian dan penyaluran energi listrik ke beban. Efisiensi dari perancangan synchronous buck converter menggunakan MPPT P&O sebesar 82.09% dan tanpa menggunakan MPPT P&O sebesar 80.77%. The sunlight could be transformed into electrical energy using a technology called a solar cell (photovoltaic). However, the power that a solar cell could generate is not as maximum as it gets. This is impacted by the efficiency of the width, temperature, and material of the solar panel as well as the intensity of the sunlight. In this final project, a Battery Control Unit MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) is made using perturb and observe (P&O) algorithm. This algorithm could maximize the power outage from the solar panel and also adjusting with the load voltage. The parameters that will be measured is the voltage, current, and power that comes from the solar panel and synchronous buck converter. The result from this final project a Battery Control Unit design that could control the process of charging and distributing the electrical energy to the load. The efficiency of this system with the MPPT P&O algorithm is 82.09% and without the MPPT P&O algorithm is 80.77%. Abstract

Desa Wisata Laksana merupakan salah satu desa wisata di Kabupaten Bandung. Setelah sepuluh tahun ditetapkan menjadi desa wisata, pengembangan destinasi wisata di Desa Wisata Laksana masih kurang baik. Berdasarkan identifikasi awal tersebut, maka dilaksanakan pengabdian masyarakat skema Community Service Engagement oleh tim dari Universitas Telkom. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah memberikan pelatihan storynomics tourism sebagai upaya pengembangan destinasi wisata. Pada pelatihan ini diterapkan metode forum group discussion bersama dengan warga masyarakat Desa Wisata Laksana yang memiliki fokus masing-masing terkait destinasi wisata di Desa Wisata Laksana. Dari kegiatan pelaksanaan pelatihan storynomics tourism didapatkan hasil masyarakat semakin memahami metode pengembangan destinasi wisata terutama dengan menggunakan metode storynomics tourism. Selain itu, didapatkan juga informasi terkait kondisi eksisting, daftar potensi wisata, dan juga kondisi ideal untuk pembuatan paket wisata berbasis storynomics tourism. Implikasi dari kegiatan ini, warga masyarakat meminta adanya kegiatan lanjutan terkait pembuatan konten, pricing, dan marketing sehingga harapannya pengembangan destinasi wisata berbasis storynomics tourism bisa benar-benar diimplementasi di Desa Wisata Laksana.

Abstract

Abstrak: Sebagai critical engine Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) telah menjadi salah satu pendorong peningkatan ekonomi negara. Namun ditengah meningkatnya industri UMKM masih banyak dari pelaku yang belum paham akan pentingnya melakukan pencatatan laporan keuangan yang sesuai dengan standar akuntansi keuangan bagi entitas mikro, kecil, dan menengah. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengenalkan Standar Akuntansi Keuangan bagi Entitas Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (SAK EMKM), mengenalkan aplikasi pencatatan laporan keuangan, menyusun laporan keuangan berdasar SAK EMKM, serta melakukan diskusi dan tanya jawab permasalahan yang dihadapi para peserta sosialisasi. Sosialisasi ini dilakukan pada pelaku UMKM di Kawasan Desa Wisata Laksana, Jawa Barat dengan jumlah peserta sebanyak 16 orang dengan metode sosialisasi dan pelatihan. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi melalui kuesioner, sosialisasi ini telah meningkatkan pengetahuan peserta dan 68.75% peserta merasa pengetahuanya sangat bertambah.Abstract: As a critical engine, Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) have become one of the drivers of improving the country's economy. However, amidst the increase in the MSME industry, many MSME owners still need to understand the importance of recording financial reports by financial accounting standards for micro, small, and medium entities. This community service aims to introduce Financial Accounting Standards for Micro, Small, and Medium Entities (SAK EMKM), introducing applications for recording financial reports, compile financial statements based on SAK EMKM, and hold discussions and questions and answers. This socialization was carried out for MSMEs in the Laksana Tourism Village Area, West Java, with 16 participants using the socialization and training method. Based on the evaluation results, this socialization has increased participants' knowledge, and participants were satisfied with this activity.

Abstract

Solar photovoltaic monitoring system can be directly conducted locally for the experimental purposes. However, indirect or remote monitoring is also needed since the solar panel are often installed in a a high place, rural location, or remote area. This study offers a dual solar panel monitoring system i.e. local and remote. Local monitoring system consists of voltage, current, temperature and light intensity sensors that were integrated in a kit called PVmeter. The data in the local monitoring system were displayed on a LCD or on a PC monitor using data logger. While in the remote monitoring system, the data were uploaded to the internet and displayed on Thinkspeak website hence the data are accessible whenever and wherever needed. In the local system, monitored data were successfully displayed on *.txt file format for every 5 minutes. While in the remote system, the data were successfully displayed on Thinkspeak website with a mean transfer rate of 52.5 seconds.

Abstract

The effect of different number of events on the bare thermoluminescent dosimeter (TLD) LiF:Mg,Cu,P chip energy response has been simulated using Geant4. This simulation aims to determine the optimum number of events with a minimum computational time. 14 photon energies in a range of 16–1250 keV with a range number of events 2×107 – 2×1012 were applied. A LiF: Mg, Cu, P chip with 4.5 mm diameter and 0.9 mm thick on the surface of 30×30 cm2 water phantom and a thin 10 µm slice of water (at 10 mm deep in the phantom) were considered as the sensitive volumes to calculate the respective absorbed dose DTLD and DW. The relative energy response R was calculated from the ratio of DTLD and DW for each energy normalised to DTLD and DW ratio of energy 662 keV. 2×109 number of events were found to be the optimum number of events with a minimum computational time.The simulation results were validated to the measurement results and the mean deviation of 0,59% was yielded. As the deviation are within the acceptable limit of ±25%, it was concluded that the results were considered satisfactory and the materials and physics processes applied in the code were correct.

Abstract

Automated access control systems have been widely used in recent years due to their high accuracy and security. In this study, we present an intelligent and secure electronic gate based on facial recognition and vehicle number plate recognition. The system combines multimodal biometric technology with face recognition using the 'face_recognition' package and automatic licence plate recognition (ALPR) using YOLOv8 and PaddleOCR to enhance the security of access to restricted areas. The system was able to correctly recognise 29 out of 30 faces, while all licence plates were accurately recognised, even at different times. The results show that the automated gate system has been successfully developed and tested with an accuracy rate of 96.67%. This success demonstrates the potential use of multimodal biometric technology to improve the security and efficiency of access control systems in various applications, such as office environments, residential areas and other public facilities. Further research can be directed towards improving the resilience of the system to different environmental conditions and expanding the database of recognised faces and vehicle number plates.

Abstract

Desa Laksana telah dinobatkan menjadi salah satu desa wisata di Kabupaten Bandung sejak 2011. Akan tetapi, hingga saat ini, geliatnya sebagai desa wisata belum terlalu ketara meskipun memiliki potensi wisata yang memadai. Salah satu kendalanya adalah kurangnya organisasi serta pemasaran yang baik terkait informasi mengenai objek wisata yang ada di desa ini. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini, tim dosen Telkom University mengadakan suatu pelatihan terkait pembuatan paket wisata yang dibungkus sebagai kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat. Pada pelatihan ini, disampaikan kepentingan membuat paket wisata, komponen, strategi serta best practice yang diperlukan untuk menghasilkan paket wisata. Berdasarkan survey dari pelatihan ini, peserta sangat antusias dan berharap kegiatan serupa dapat dilanjutkan dan ditambah durasinya. Selain itu, pada pelatihan ini juga disosialisasikan aplikasi wisata yang dapat digunakan untuk mempromosikan paket wisata ini. Diharapkan dari kegiatan ini, akan muncul paket-paket wisata yang dapat menarik lebih banyak wisatawan dan secara tidak langsung meningkatkan ekonomi masyarakat Desa Laksana.
