Abstract

E-Puskesmas is an electronic-based management information system designed to enhance the efficiency and quality of services in community health centers (Puskesmas). The low visit rate at Puskesmas Pauh indicates an ineffectiveness in the implementation of the e-Puskesmas application. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the e-Puskesmas application at Puskesmas Pauh. A qualitative research method with a case study approach was employed, conducted from March to August 2025 at Puskesmas Pauh through interviews, document reviews, and observations. Informants were selected using purposive sampling, totaling seven individuals. Data analysis utilized technique triangulation and source triangulation. The results revealed limitations in human resources, network infrastructure, and hardware. Additionally, the lack of a specific standard operating procedure (SOP) for e-Puskesmas constituted a major obstacle to effective application usage. Technical disruptions, particularly network instability, resulted in slow service delivery. However, the application has successfully supported rapid and accurate reporting in the Integrated Reporting and Management System for Puskesmas (SP2TP) within the Health Office. In conclusion, the implementation of e-Puskesmas at Puskesmas Pauh still faces challenges from both technical aspects and human resources. It is recommended that the health center enhance the capacity of its personnel and technological infrastructure to optimize the effectiveness of this application.

Abstract

An imbalance between workload and individual capacity may lead to work stress, which negatively impacts both employees’ health and company productivity. This study aims to analyze the relationship between workload and work stress among production workers at PT. X, Bekasi, West Java, in 2025. A quantitative method with an analytic cross-sectional design was applied. A total of 35 permanent production workers were selected using purposive sampling, and data were collected through questionnaires measuring workload indicators (metabolic rate and physical workload at the workplace) and work stress indicators (role ambiguity, role conflict, quantitative workload, qualitative workload, and career development). Data were analyzed using the Chi-Square test. The results showed that most workers experienced light workload, while work stress was mostly in the mild to moderate categories. The Chi-Square test produced a p-value of 0.014, indicating a significant relationship between workload and work stress. These findings highlight the importance of proper workload management, including task arrangement, job rotation, and career development strategies to reduce the risk of work stress and maintain productivity among production workers.

Abstract

Forest fires cause a decline in the level of public health, either directly or indirectly. One of the public health services that requires good collaboration is health services at the Puskesmas. health workers on duty at the Puskesmas in dealing with disasters in their respective work areas. The collaboration target is integrated patient care for disaster victims. This study aims to determine the understanding of health workers in collaborative risk management for haze disaster in West Sumatra. The design at this stage is cross sectional to identify the characteristics of the respondents (age, gender, type of profession, education), knowledge, attitudes, and collaborative actions to reduce haze disaster risk at the same time. The target population of this research is all health workers in several districts in West Sumatra Province. The affordable population of the study is health workers in areas categorized as vulnerable to haze in the province of West Sumatra. The sample determined in the survey phase of the research using the Lamesshow formula (Lemeshow et al., 1990). Based on the above formula, the total sample size is 50 samples, with an anticipated sample drop out of 10%, so the total number of samples is 55 samples. Collecting data using primary data by means of interviews with a questionnaire instrument. The statistical test used in this study is the chi square test, which is a statistical test used to test the relationship between the independent variable (independent) and the dependent variable (dependent) on a categorical scale. The results of the quantitative research show that more than half of the knowledge level (60%) and positive attitude (51%) about collaboration in disaster risk management of haze haze are seen. And the actions or practices of more than half of the respondents or health workers have less action (64%) regarding collaboration for disaster risk management of haze. There is a relationship between the knowledge and attitudes of health workers with collaborative actions to mitigate the risk of haze disaster. Government involvement is needed to issue a collaborative policy for managing the risk of haze disaster to change the centralistic/spatial paradigm in disaster management. Health workers can improve their understanding of communication and motivation in collaborative disaster risk management for haze.

Abstract

Vehicles with low speed will produce more exhaust emissions, especially CO gas. Exposure to air with CO gas can cause poisoning of the central nervous system and heart. This study aims to determine the effect of the number of motorized vehicles with levels of carbon monoxide (CO) in the air on Jalan Perintis Kemerdekaan and Jalan Lubuk Begalung, Padang City in 2022. The type of research used was analytical observational using a correlation test with a cross sectional design with a sample of 5 samples. Times per day at the same time. The results showed that Carbon Monoxide levels were positively correlated to the increase in the number of motorized vehicles with a value of r = 0.9. The number of motorized vehicles on Lubuk Begalung street is lower, humidity and wind speed are lower, the temperature is higher, while the number of motor vehicles on Jalan Perintis Kemerdekaan is higher, humidity and wind speed are higher and temperature are low. Carbon Monoxide levels on Jalan Perintis Kemerdekaan were higher at 3.242 ug/Nm3 and on Lubuk Begalung street at 2.572 ug/Nm3. For this reason, it is necessary to improve the quality of public transportation power by checking and repairing public transportation and reducing the use of privite vehicles and making green efforts on roads that can absorb pollutants to reduce the impact of motor vehicle exhaust emissions.

Abstract

Scavengers have the potential to be exposed to gases from the waste decomposition process at the final disposal area due to the activities of scavengers in the final disposal environment. Exposure to these gases can cause health problems for scavengers, one of which is due to Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) gas. The purpose of the study was to determine the exposure of Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) gas to scavengers at the Air Dingin final disposal area of Padang in 2022. The research method used Environmental Health Risk Analysis. The results of the three points measured were above the odor level limit value (0.02 ppm or 0.0278 mg/m3). The average realtime intake value is 1.55 x 10-3 mg/kg/day and the lifetime intake is 3.11 x 10-3 mg/kg/day. Realtime and lifetime RQ values, obtained RQ>1. This means that exposure to Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) is not safe for scavengers. For this reason, it is necessary to carry out risk control efforts. For scavengers to use PPE, especially masks, and increase body resistance. For the Department of Environment of Padang, recommended to be able to monitor air quality related to polluting gases in the air around the final disposal area on a regular basis.
