Abstract

This research describes building religious character and social concern for the students of Madrasah Aliyah Darus Syifa’ Kudus from the perspective of sheikh Nawawi al-Jawi. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. Data collection techniques in this research are through observation and interviews. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique is carried out by data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this study conclude that: first, religious character building for children through the delivery of the book material ‘Nashâih al-’Ibâd’ and the application of the essence of religious character education values is carried out through several activities including: a) praying before learning, b) tahfidz and tahsin al-Qur'an, c) dhuha prayer, d) congregational prayer. Second, social care character building through distributing aid to flood victims in Karanganyar Village, Demak Regency.

Abstract

This journal aims to examine the harmonization of modern values without destroying the essence of religious teachings. The concept of religious moderation is the main foundation that must be applied in a pluralistic society. In the context of pluralistic Indonesia, religious moderation is expected to be a solution to radicalization conflicts and interreligious or interfaith intolerance. Gus Dur prioritized the importance of pluralism, tolerance, and dialogue as a way to build harmonious relations between religious communities. The method used in this research is a literature study, which analyzes various sources related to religious moderation. The results of the study show that religious moderation is not only important to create social harmony, but also as a strategy to maintain the integrity of the nation in facing the challenges of globalization and extremism. Thus, religious moderation could be the foundation for creating a peaceful and prosperous society, where tradition and modernity can co-exist.

Abstract

This article discusses the application of Cognitive Load Theory (CLT) in thecontext of learning systems aimed at improving the effectiveness of studentlearning processes. Introduced by John Sweller in the late 1980s, the theoryexplains that each individual has a limited capacity to process information.Therefore, it is crucial to manage cognitive load to enable students to learnoptimally. CLT identifies three types of cognitive load: intrinsic load, which isrelated to the complexity of the material; extraneous load, which arises from themethod of presenting information; and germane load, which is related to themental effort that supports the learning process. The application of this theory ineducational practice involves designing instructional materials and learningstrategies that consider students' mental capacities. By avoiding excessiveinformation delivery, using visual aids that support understanding, and organizinginformation effectively, students can focus more on processing relevantinformation. This study employs a literature review method to gather informationfrom various sources related to the implementation of CLT in education. Theresearch concludes that the application of CLT can enhance students'understanding and retention of information. However, challenges in itsimplementation include the need to adjust the material according to students'readiness levels and educators' deep understanding of effective instructionaldesign. In conclusion, the application of CLT is critical for creating a more efficientand effective learning experience.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan peningkatan literasi peserta didik melalui peran perpustakaan. Metode penelitian dengan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Lokasi penelitian berada di MAN 2 Kudus Tahun Pelajaran 2024/2025. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan teknik reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Perpustakaan Harun Al Rasyid memiliki peran strategis, holistik, dan multifungsi dalam mendukung peningkatan literasi peserta didik. Peran perpustakaan tidak hanya sebatas penyedia sumber informasi, namun juga sebagai pusat pembelajaran, pengembangan karakter, dan penguat budaya literasi yang inklusif. 2) Tingkat literasi peserta didik secara umum berada pada kategori sedang hingga baik, dengan kekuatan utama pada aspek mengakses informasi, meskipun masih diperlukan peningkatan dalam aspek pengolahan dan produksi informasi. 3) Dampak peran perpustakaan terlihat dalam peningkatan kemampuan literasi membaca, menulis, dan digital siswa, serta mendorong prestasi akademik Penghargaan Sekolah Aktif Literasi Nasional tahun 2025, Prestasi Kompetisi Literasi dan Ilmiah (Juara 3 Gemnas Scientific Competition 2024 dan Medali Emas di International Science and Invention Fair (ISIF) 2024), penghargaan National Science Fair for Indonesian Adolescents (NASFIA) 2024 di Tingkat ASEAN, juara karya ilmiah tingkat Kabupaten, finalis lomba literasi digital dan esai nasional serta diterima di berbagai perguruan tinggi negeri ternama melalui jalur Seleksi Nasional Berdasarkan Prestasi (SNBP) 2025. Dengan demikian, Perpustakaan Harun Al Rasyid terbukti memiliki kontribusi nyata dalam membentuk peserta didik yang literat, kritis, dan berdaya saing tinggi.

Abstract

Undang-Undang Nomor 18 Tahun 2019 tentang Pesantren menandai titik balik dalam pengakuan formal negara terhadap pendidikan pesantren sebagai bagian integral dari sistem pendidikan nasional. Namun, sejauh mana regulasi ini telah diimplementasikan secara efektif masih menjadi pertanyaan terbuka di kalangan akademisi dan pembuat kebijakan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyusun tinjauan sistematis atas literatur ilmiah yang membahas implementasi UU No. 18 Tahun 2019, guna mengidentifikasi pola, tantangan, dan peluang dalam penguatan pendidikan pesantren melalui kerangka regulasi nasional Metode Systematic Literature Review (SLR) digunakan dengan mengikuti protokol PRISMA. Pencarian dilakukan melalui basis data seperti Google Scholar, Garuda, dan DOAJ untuk publikasi antara tahun 2019 hingga 2025. Kriteria inklusi mencakup artikel peer-reviewed yang secara eksplisit membahas aspek hukum, kebijakan, atau implementasi pendidikan pesantren pasca-berlakunya UU Pesantren. Dari 42 artikel yang dianalisis, empat tema utama teridentifikasi: (1) transformasi kelembagaan pesantren, (2) problematika teknis implementasi di tingkat daerah, (3) ketidaksinkronan antara kebijakan nasional dan lokal, dan (4) peran aktor non-pemerintah dalam memperkuat daya adaptasi pesantren terhadap UU. Beberapa literatur juga menyoroti gap antara norma hukum dan realitas pelaksanaan. Meskipun UU No. 18 Tahun 2019 secara normatif memperkuat posisi pesantren, implementasinya masih menghadapi tantangan struktural dan kultural. Temuan ini memberikan dasar bagi pengembangan kebijakan pendidikan keagamaan yang lebih adaptif dan kontekstual.

Abstract

Instagram has become a platform where information flows rapidly and widely, ranging from entertainment and educational content to religious discourse. In the context of education, narratives about religious moderation in Indonesia vary—some are persuasive, while others are provocative. Ideally, provocative content on social media should be countered with persuasive content. This paper highlights a figure of religious moderation who advocates for Islam as a mazhab cinta (school of love), namely Husein Ja'far Al-Hadar (@husein_hadar). Specifically, it focuses on one of his posts dated August 16, 2023, with the caption: “Anyone who is not your brother in religion, ethnicity, or other identities is your brother in Indonesia.” This writing explores how Husein Ja'far Al-Hadar's Islam mazhab cinta is reflected through the lens of meaning and media in that particular post. Additionally, it investigates the extent to which the values of religious moderation are embodied in his message, using semiotic and structuralist analysis. It also examines the denotative and connotative meanings of the image showing a habib and a bante standing together in traditional religious attire. Based on relevant theories and conceptual frameworks, the post can be analyzed as a representation of religious moderation values consistent with the social routines and everyday activities Husein Ja'far Al-Hadar regularly advocates. Ultimately, the core of Husein Ja'far Al-Hadar’s approach to religious moderation lies in the application of religious values related to faith and worship through his concept of Islam as a mazhab cinta

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memetakan tren dan perkembangan kajian ilmiah mengenai penjaminan mutu pendidikan di pondok pesantren dalam kurun waktu 2010 hingga 2025 melalui pendekatan bibliometrik. Data diperoleh dari basis data Scopus dan Dimensions, lalu dianalisis menggunakan perangkat lunak VOSviewer dan Bibliometrik. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan jumlah publikasi dalam topik ini, terutama pasca-ditetapkannya Undang-Undang Nomor 18 Tahun 2019 tentang Pesantren. Temuan utama mencakup dominasi tema manajemen mutu internal, kepemimpinan instruksional, akreditasi, dan integrasi nilai-nilai khas pesantren dalam sistem mutu. Studi juga menemukan bahwa pesantren unggulan seperti MAN Insan Cendekia dan SMA Dwiwarna telah berhasil mengimplementasikan sistem penjaminan mutu yang efektif dan kontekstual, yang berdampak langsung pada kualitas lulusan dan pengakuan kelembagaan. Visualisasi bibliometrik menunjukkan evolusi tema dari pendekatan teknokratis menuju pendekatan berbasis karakter dan spiritualitas. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan perlunya pengembangan model mutu adaptif berbasis nilai dan peningkatan kolaborasi riset lintas institusi dan negara untuk mendukung penguatan mutu pendidikan pesantren ke depan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menggali bahaya bullying yang menjadi sebuah ancaman nyata dalam lingkungan pendidikan. Dalam mengeksplorasi bahaya tersebut, peneliti menerapkan metode penelitian pustaka sebagai dasar dari studi ini, hasil dari rangkuman studi pustaka pengaruh intensitas teman sebaya di sekolah mengakibatkan para korban bullying mengalami perlakuan kekerasan baik secara verbal maupun non-verbal, hal ini sesuai dengan penelitian yang ada. Bullying sering terjadi ketika seseorang mempunyai kekurangan dalam dirinya, baik secara fisik maupun mental. Dampak Bullying berupa penurunan nafsu makan, sakit hati, turunnya prestasi akademik, malu dan takut bersosialisasi di lingkungan sosial. Intensitas interaksi dengan teman sebaya di sekolah berkontribusi terhadap meningkatnya tindakan bullying. Selain itu, salah satu faktor yang memicu terjadinya bullying di sekolah adalah kurangnya perhatian dari pada pendidik perilaku siswa, yang sering dianggap sepele atau masalah kecil. Oleh karena itu, dampak dari tindakan bullying dalam konteks pendidikan dan interaksi dengan teman sebaya perlu mendapat perhatian serius dan pemahaman yang mendalam, agar perilaku bullying tidak menjadi budaya yang mengakar di Indonesia khususnya.

Abstract

This study aims to explain what the traditional music art of Gendang Beleq is and how this traditional art builds the values ​​of people's lives in Lombok. This study uses a qualitative method with a socio-cultural approach, using the Postmodern paradigm. This study uses documentation techniques by collecting primary and secondary data from library sources including books, journals, website articles, magazines, and others. In this study, the results of the study found that Gendang Beleq is a traditional music art from Lombok not only as entertainment, but also reflects the cultural richness and identity of the Sasak people. Used in traditional events such as weddings and circumcisions, this art has a historical role as a driving force for fighting spirit, religious as a spiritual medium, and philosophical in teaching the values ​​of perseverance and wisdom. In addition to strengthening social solidarity and teaching cooperation, Gendang Beleq also functions as an educational medium to preserve tradition. Although born from the past, this art remains relevant and is an important symbol in the lives of the Lombok people

Abstract

This study aims to show the paradox of housing development in urban areas. This study uses a literature review method. The results of the study show that housing development in urban areas experiences a paradox on the one hand, building houses for those who do not need a house as a place to live but as an investment. However, displacing homeless people who need a place to live. The policy alternatives offered are: (1) building a political contract as an effort to eradicate policies that pay attention to housing policies; (2) a win-win policy solution in addition to paying attention to good city planning also provides a solution for those who are homeless so that they still have a place to live that is not far from where they work
