Abstract

Practical difficulties often hinder students' understanding of simple electrical circuits. Confirmative practicums limit creativity as they do not provide opportunities for students to explore experiments independently. Furthermore, traditional practicums fail to accommodate diverse conceptual levels, including high and low electrical flow comprehension. To address these challenges, this study aimed to develop a virtual lab supplemented with an alternative solution worksheet for teaching simple electrical circuits to elementary school students. The research employed the Alessi & Trollip development model, encompassing three stages: planning, designing, and developing. Each stage involved continuous evaluations to ensure the quality of the developed product. Data collection methods included observations, interviews, and questionnaires, with validation performed by material and media experts. Data analysis utilized qualitative descriptive techniques to assess the product's effectiveness. The results indicated that the material validation test achieved an average score classified as "very good," with a percentage of 85.00%. Similarly, media validation results demonstrated an average percentage of 80.11%, also categorized as "very good." The implementation of the virtual lab showed significant improvements in students' understanding, as reflected in their test scores. The average pre-test score was 31.63, which increased substantially to an average post-test score of 70.51. These findings suggest that the virtual lab, combined with alternative solution worksheets, effectively enhances students' conceptual understanding and creativity in learning simple electrical circuits. This approach offers a promising alternative to traditional practicums for improving science education in elementary schools.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kesulitan siswa kelas V B SD Negeri 48 Pangkalpinang dalam memahami konsep FPB dan KPK. Rata-rata nilai ulangan harian sebesar 54,55 masih berada di bawah KKM (70). Berdasarkan angket kebutuhan, 78% siswa menyatakan kesulitan belajar dengan metode yang digunakan selama ini dan membutuhkan media visual yang menarik dan interaktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran Pohon Faktor berbasis Adobe Animate yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation). Subjek penelitian adalah 34 siswa kelas V B SD Negeri 48 Pangkalpinang. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket dan tes. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan meliputi analisis data validasi ahli, analisis data respon siswa dan guru, dan analisis efektivitas menggunakan uji normalitas serta uji hipotesis. Berdasarkan hasil perolehan angket ahli kevalidan, diperoleh hasil penilaian materi sebesar 68% dengan kategori valid, penilaian media sebesar 92,73% dengan kategori sangat valid. Penilaian kepraktisan diperoleh dari hasil angket respon siswa uji coba kelompok kecil sebesar 94% dan uji coba kelompok besar 90,41%, keduanya termasuk dalam kategori sangat praktis. Uji kepraktisan oleh guru menunjukkan hasil 94%, termasuk kategori sangat praktis. Media Pohon Faktor berbasis Adobe Animate juga terbukti efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran, ditinjau dari hasil uji normalitas pretest 0,058 > 0,05 dan posttest 0,121 > 0,05, yang berarti data berdistribusi normal. Hasil uji-t menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa media ini efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran matematika materi FPB dan KPK.

Abstract

Abstract This community service program aims to empower Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Bakit Village by improving product identity and utilizing simple technology. The activity focused on Mrs. Yul’s bread business, which previously had a label but lacked attractiveness due to design limitations. The methods used included an initial survey to identify business potential and challenges, direct mentoring in creating a new logo with a simple design application, and socialization to provide knowledge on branding and digital promotion. The results indicated that the new and more representative logo strengthened the product identity and enhanced its visual appeal, while the socialization activities increased MSME actors’ understanding of promotional strategies and technology-based business development. This program demonstrates that simple improvements through branding and digital utilization can serve as an initial step to enhance the image, competitiveness, and sustainability of local MSMEs. Abstrak Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mendukung pemberdayaan UMKM di Desa Bakit melalui peningkatan identitas produk dan pemanfaatan teknologi sederhana. Fokus pendampingan diberikan pada usaha roti milik Ibu Yul yang sebelumnya telah memiliki label, namun tampilannya masih sederhana dan kurang menarik. Metode yang digunakan meliputi survei awal untuk mengidentifikasi potensi dan kendala usaha, pendampingan langsung dalam pembuatan logo baru menggunakan aplikasi desain sederhana, serta sosialisasi mengenai pentingnya branding dan pemanfaatan media promosi digital. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa logo baru yang lebih representatif mampu memperkuat identitas produk dan meningkatkan daya tarik visual, sementara sosialisasi memberikan pemahaman bagi pelaku UMKM mengenai strategi promosi dan pengembangan usaha berbasis teknologi. Pendampingan ini membuktikan bahwa perbaikan sederhana melalui branding dan teknologi digital dapat menjadi langkah awal dalam meningkatkan citra, daya saing, serta keberlanjutan UMKM lokal.
