Abstract

Desa Sekaroh memiliki potensi bencana kekeringan dengan kategori tinggi, bahkan sudah menjadi siklus tahunan. Dampak bencana kekeringan sangat dirasakan oleh masyarakat Desa Sekaroh terutama pada sektor ekonomi dan sosial, sehingga dibutuhkan upaya-upaya adaptasi bencana dalam rangka mengurangi risikonya. Aspek pengetahuan masyarakat menjadi sangat penting dalam melakukan upaya adaptasi bencana kekeringan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan masyarakat dalam melakukan adaptasi bencana kekeringan di Desa Sekaroh. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain survei. Responden pada penelitian ini berjumlah 90 orang yang terdiri dari 18 orang pada setiap dusun yang telah ditentukan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan adaptasi di setiap dusun Desa Sekaroh memiliki kategori rendah, dengan persentase sebesar 24,42%. Minimnya sosialisasi, pelatihan dan keterbatasan informasi menjadi faktor utama. Strategi yang efektif dan efisien serta berkelanjutan menjadi solusi yang tepat untuk meningkatkan kapasitas masyarakat dalam hal adaptasi bencana kekeringan di Desa Sekaroh Kecamatan Jerowaru Kabupaten Lombok Timur.

Abstract

Berbagai aktivitas di rumah tangga berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan emisi karbon (CO2). Emisi CO2 dihasilkan dari penggunaan energi listrik, gas LPG, dan bensin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kondisi emisi karbondioksida dari aktivitas rumah tangga serta tingkat pemahaman ibu rumah tangga terkait emisi karbon. Permasalahan yang dikaji meliputi peningkatan emisi rumah tangga, rendahnya kesadaran ibu rumah tangga terhadap emisi karbon, pengaruh gaya hidup terhadap emisi karbon, kebutuhan ekonomi yang tinggi, serta rendahnya kesadaran lingkungan. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian survey. Penelitian survey merupakan teknik pengukuran yang dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan data dan informasi terkait karakteristik lapangan hingga pendapat responden sesuai dengan permasalahan yang dikaji. Data dianalisis berdasarkan jumlah emisi CO2 dari aktivitas listrik, LPG, dan bensin menggunakan metode IPCC. Tingkat pemahaman ibu rumah tangga diketahui melalui wawancara dan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan jumlah emisi karbon dioksida yang dihasilkan dari aktivitas rumah tangga di Kelurahan Pancor sebesar 108,99ton CO2-eq. Sementara itu, tingkat pemahaman ibu rumah tangga terkait emisi karbon dikategorikan rendah dengan nilai rata-rata 49,6%.

Abstract

Abstrak Program ini didasari atas kebutuhan mendesak untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan pemahaman lingkungan di kalangan masyarakat, khususnya ibu rumah tangga. Di daerah Lombok Timur, masalah lingkungan seperti sampah plastik dan limbah rumah tangga menjadi tantangan serius yang memerlukan perhatian. Pendampingan ini bertujuan untuk untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan kesadaran lingkungan di kalangan ibu rumah tangga, serta mendorong penerapan prinsip Zero Waste dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Sasaran dalam kegiatan ini adalah para ibu rumah tangga di 3 desa dan kelurahan Lombok Timur yaitu Sukamulia Timur, Korleko, dan Dasan Pancor Kelurahan Majidi berjumlah 33 orang. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini berhasil memberikan dampak positif pada 33 peserta yang terlibat. Sebelum pendampingan dimulai, hanya 45% peserta yang memahami konsep Zero Waste, namun angka ini meningkat signifikan menjadi 85% setelah pendampingan selesai. Selain itu, kesadaran lingkungan di kalangan peserta juga meningkat dari 55% menjadi 90%. Kata kunci: pendampingan; sadar kingkungan; zero waste  Abstract This program is based on the urgent need to raise environmental awareness and understanding within the community, particularly among housewives. In the East Lombok area, environmental issues such as plastic waste and household waste have become serious challenges that require attention.This mentoring program aims to enhance environmental understanding and awareness among housewives while encouraging the adoption of Zero Waste principles in daily life. The target participants of this activity were 33 housewives from three villages and sub-districts in East Lombok: Sukamulia Timur, Korleko, and Dasan Pancor in Kelurahan Majidi. This community service program successfully had a positive impact on all 33 participants involved. Before the mentoring began, only 45% of participants understood the concept of Zero Waste, but this number significantly increased to 85% after the program was completed. Additionally, environmental awareness among the participants rose from 55% to 90%. Keywords: mentoring; environment awareness; zero waste.

Abstract

The high dropout rate (APS) at the senior secondary level in East Lombok Regency reflects the limited effectiveness of the nine-year compulsory education program, driven by early marriage, economic constraints, and limited access. This study analyzes the role of the Open Senior High School (SMA Terbuka) in reducing dropout rates and explores strategies for strengthening its implementation. Using a descriptive qualitative case study at SMA Terbuka 1 Sakra Timur, data were obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation, and analyzed with Miles and Huberman’s interactive model. Findings indicate that SMA Terbuka offers an inclusive alternative through decentralized Learning Activity Centers (TKB) supported by tutor teachers, with a flexible curriculum adapted to students’ needs. Since 2021/2022, the program has reduced dropout rates and produced hundreds of graduates. Community and government support, flexible scheduling, and home-visit mentoring are critical factors. SMA Terbuka significantly expands educational access, and its optimization requires strengthened facilities, digital resources, and teacher capacity to support SDG 4 on quality education.

Abstract

The Ngalun Aik tradition has strong roots and has become an identity in the life of the people of Aik Dewa Village. On the other hand, the spring in Aik Dewa Village not only acts as a source of clean water for daily needs but also plays an important role in local rituals and beliefs related to survival. Therefore, the role of local traditions such as Ngalun Aik is becoming increasingly important to explore and understand in spring conservation efforts. This research uses a qualitative approach to gain an understanding of the educational value of spring conservation in the Ngalun Aik tradition. The respondents in this research involved six male and four female key persons, representing religious leaders, traditional leaders, community leaders, and groups of young men and women. Based on documentation, observation, and interview findings, it can be concluded that the Ngalun Aik tradition in Aik Dewa Village is not only a cultural ritual but also a strong educational platform about the importance of environmental conservation and natural resource management. Through ritual processions, people express their appreciation for water sources as sacred gifts of nature. This tradition teaches the educational values of maintaining water quality, sustainable water management, and environmental awareness to the younger generation. Ngalun Aik also strengthens cultural ties, spirituality, and ecological awareness in the community.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a differentiated teaching module based on social media that meets the criteria of validity, practicality, and effectiveness, in order to improve students' digital literacy skills in learning materials about conflict and violence in high school. This research uses a research and development (R&D) approach as the main method. Module development is carried out through systematic stages based on the ADDIE model, which includes analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The analysis stage includes the identification of learning needs. The design stage includes the preparation of module frameworks and flows, display design, reference selection, and evaluation instrument design. The development phase includes creation, validation by experts, and revision of modules. The implementation stage is in the form of module trials for students. Meanwhile, at the evaluation stage, the aim is to assess the advantages and disadvantages of the teaching module as a result of the trial. The quality of teaching modules is measured based on three main aspects, namely validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The feasibility of this module was obtained through the evaluation of learning and material planner experts, with a score of 75%, the assessment of media and learning technology experts of 95%, and the results of linguist assessments of 91%. The teaching module was also declared practical based on user feedback by teachers and students by 92%. Based on the results of interviews with teachers and students, as well as referring to the results of post-tests and performance, this teaching module was declared effective in improving students' digital literacy skills in conflict and violence materials. Thus, it can be concluded that the social-media-based differentiated teaching module developed is valid, practical, and effective.
