Abstract

This study addresses the low level of premarital literacy among Generation Z, which has implications for economic readiness, mental preparedness, and legal understanding before marriage. The research aimed to analyze the effectiveness of an interactive premarital literacy program conducted through community service activities at MAN 1 Boyolali. The problem was the lack of structured and contextual education on premarital readiness in senior high schools. Using a educational approach with interactive lecture method, data were collected through observation, pre-test and post-test, and documentation. The participants were 50 twelfth-grade students from diverse socio-economic backgrounds. The results showed a 32% average increase in knowledge after the program, with the highest improvement in legal understanding (38%), followed by economic readiness (28%) and mental preparedness (24%). The findings confirm that integrating interactive lectures, case studies, and contextual discussions significantly enhances premarital literacy, especially in Generation Z. This study suggests incorporating premarital literacy into the school curriculum as a preventive education strategy to prepare youth for building healthy and sustainable marriages.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of transformational leadership style and academic supervision on school quality in junior high schools in Batang Timur, Batang Regency. Transformational leadership style includes dimensions such as idealized influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, and individual attention. Academic supervision, carried out by the principal, plays an important role in improving the quality of education through systematic planning, implementation, and evaluation of teacher performance. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 252 teachers in junior high schools in Batang Timur. The results showed that transformational leadership style has a positive and significant influence on school quality with a regression coefficient value of 0.385, which means that every one-unit increase in transformational leadership will increase school quality by 0.385 units. Academic supervision has a stronger influence with a regression coefficient value of 0.504, which shows that every one-unit increase in academic supervision will increase school quality by 0.504 units. Overall, academic supervision has a more dominant influence than transformational leadership, with a difference of 0.119 units. This study shows that the combination of effective transformational leadership and quality academic supervision can have a greater impact on improving school quality. These results provide recommendations for school principals to further optimize the role of academic supervision and develop a transformational leadership style to improve the quality of education in junior high schools in Batang Timur and its surroundings.

Abstract

Lembaga sekolah memiliki peranan penting dalam menentukan kualitas pendidikan sekolah, sehingga perlu mengatur perencanaan, pelaksanaan, serta evaluasi segala aspek yang ada di sekolah salah satunya melalui kurikulum yang diterapkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi kurikulum merdeka dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di sekolah dasar Gugus Sunan Muria Kecamatan Demak Kabupaten Demak dengan menggunakan teori implementasi George Edward III. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, yang berfokus pada mendeskripsikan suatu peristiwa dan kejadian yang telah terjadi pada saat penelitian dilakukan. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Untuk menganalisis data digunakan manajemen data, pengkodean, dan penyajian hasil olahan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Komunikasi pelaksana implementasi kurikulum merdeka dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di Sekolah Dasar Gugus Sunan Muria Kecamatan Demak Kabupaten Demak sudah berjalan dengan baik 2) Sumber daya dalam implementasi kurikulum merdeka dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di Sekolah Dasar Gugus Sunan Muria Kecamatan Demak Kabupaten Demak sudah memadai walaupun belum maksimal 3) Disposisi dalam implementasi kurikulum merdeka dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di Sekolah Dasar Gugus Sunan Muria Kecamatan Demak Kabupaten Demak sudah berjalan dengan baik 4) Struktur Birokrasi implementasi kurikulum merdeka dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di Sekolah Dasar Gugus Sunan Muria Kecamatan Demak Kabupaten Demak belum berjalan dengan maksimal. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, peneliti menyarankan bahwa sekolah harus membangun komunikasi yang efektif agar terbentuk struktur birokrasi yang baik guna tercapainya implementasi kurikulum merdeka dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di sekolah.
