Abstract

This study aimed to explore the perceptions of undergraduate students on suitable learning media for website development. A qualitative method with a case study type was used in this research. Fifty undergraduate students from the Educational Technology department participated. A questionnaire was used as the instrument to gather data on the necessary learning media. Data analysis was performed using NVivo 12 software, and results were presented as percentages based on two indicators: technology accessibility and learning materials. The study’s results and discussion highlighted two crucial factors influencing the choice of learning media in website development education. First, technology accessibility factors, encompass technological support and interaction. Second, learning material factors, including the type and complexity of the material. These findings offer valuable insights for developing more effective learning media in web development courses by taking these key factors into account.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas guru Sekolah Dasar (SD) dalam memanfaatkan Artificial Intelligence (AI) sebagai alat bantu pembelajaran di era digital. Bertempat di salah satu SD di wilayah Pondok Bambu, Jakarta Timur, kegiatan dilakukan melalui pendekatan partisipatif berupa pelatihan interaktif, praktik langsung, dan pendampingan intensif. Materi pelatihan meliputi penggunaan ChatGPT, Canva AI, dan Grammarly AI untuk mendukung penyusunan RPP, pembuatan media ajar, dan koreksi teks. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam literasi digital guru, dengan rata-rata kenaikan skor pre-test ke post-test sebesar 24,5 poin. Selain peningkatan kompetensi teknis, pelatihan ini juga berdampak positif pada motivasi dan rasa percaya diri guru dalam menghadapi teknologi. Meski terdapat tantangan seperti keterbatasan perangkat dan akses internet, kegiatan ini berhasil menumbuhkan digital confidence dan memperkuat peran guru sebagai agen perubahan dalam pembelajaran berbasis teknologi di pendidikan dasar.

Abstract

Anemia pada remaja dapat menyebabkan gangguan konsentrasi, penurunan prestasi belajar, mengganggu kebugaran dan produktivitas dan penurunan imunitas. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan dengan pretest tingkat pengetahuan dan sikap, selanjutnya dilakukan pemamaran materi terkait anemia, setelah itu dilakukan post test, dan dilanjutkan pembentukan kelompok peer leader yang terdiri dari 3 kelompok/tim. Setiap tim terdiri dari 3 siswi yang masing masing berasal dari kelas VII, VIII dan IX. 3 tim tersebut dilatih menggunakan alat ukur hemoglobinometer digital (Easy Touch GCHb ). Hasil Kegiatan PKM ini membawa dampak positif terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan siswi menjadi sebesar 91,7% dimana tidak ada lagi berpengetahuan kurang dan peningkatan sikap menjadi 100% positif. Telah dibentuk pula peer leader/ teman sejawat di masing-masing kelas yang terdiri dari 3 siswi setiap kelas (Kelas VII, VIII dan IX) untuk mendeteksi anemia pada remaja putri/ siswi SMPI Darul Hikmah, selain itu peer leader yang telah dibentuk telah dilatih dan sudah mahir melakukan pemeriksaan hemoglobin dengan menggunakan alat ukur hemoglobinometer digital (Easy Touch GCHb) sehingga diharapkan dapat mendeteksi anemia secara dini pada teman temannya. Khusus Peningkatan output tersebut diharapkan dapat menjadi modal bagi siswi dalam upaya mencegah dan menangani anemia pada remaja putri.

Abstract

Academic writing skills are essential competencies for students to support academic success and scholarly publication; however, many students still struggle to produce publishable academic writing. This study aims to explore the use of an authentic learning approach as a strategy to help students complete academic writing assignments effectively. This study employs a descriptive-analytical approach, using systematic observation of variables. Thirty students who enrolled in the academic writing course of Universitas Terbuka (UT) were involved as respondents in this present study. The participants had to follow the systematic online learning sessions of the academic writing course. After completing the academic writing course, participants must be able to write a proper academic article for a related journal. The academic writing online course was designed and developed with the following nine principles of authentic learning: authentic context, authentic tasks and activities, access to expert performances, multiple roles and perspectives, supporting collaborative construction of knowledge, promoting reflection and articulation, providing coaching and scaffolding, and assessing the students' writing assignment. The results of the study indicated that students' scores increased after completing the authentic learning-based academic writing courses. The study recommends that an authentic learning approach is essential in an academic writing course, as it provides real learning experiences that help students complete the academic writing assignments.
