Abstract

Salah satu tantangan terbesar di dalam dunia pendidikan anak usia dini adalah bagaimana membuat anak bisa tertarik terhadap pelajaran yang sedang diajarkan, termasuk pada mata pelajaran pendidikan agama Kristen. Salah satu cara agar guru dan orang tua bisa menarik perhatian anak untuk mau belajar pendidikan agama Kristen adalah dengan memanfaatkan teknologi bergerak pada kegiatan belajar-mengajar baik itu di tingkat PAUD maupun di dalam keluarga. Dengan adanya pemanfaatan teknologi bergerak anak bisa belajar secara optimal dengan memanfaatkan kemampuan audio dan visual mereka yang tengah berkembang dengan cepat. Guru juga perlu mempertimbangkan penggunaan gadget dalam pelajaran pendidikan agama Kristen berdasarkan umur anak agar anak bisa mengikuti pelajaran pendidikan agama Kristen dengan baik. Namun, di saat yang bersamaan, guru beserta orang tua juga harus menggunakan metode belajar konvensional yang tidak menggunakan gadget agar anak juga bisa belajar bersosialisasi secara langsung dan bisa terhindar dari dampak buruk gadget yang membayangi mereka setiap mereka berselancar di internet seperti konten-konten kriminal, kejahatan hingga pornografi yang tersebar luas di internet dan bisa saja diakses oleh anak tanpa disengaja.

Abstract

This research is conducted as an effort to design a Christian Religious Education (PAK) Family curriculum specifically developed to implement the sacrament of Communion with children. The sacrament of Communion with children positively impacts parents' awareness of their role in educating their children's faith. In practice, parents are responsible for providing understanding and preparing their children's involvement in the sacrament of Communion. In line with this specific objective, the Backward Design model is considered more appropriate because "expected outcomes" are the first step that is carefully considered in the design process. Using qualitative research methods and a literature review approach, this study produces a more relevant PAK Family curriculum design that addresses specific needs, particularly about the implementation of understanding the sacrament of Communion with children.  AbstrakPenelitian ini dilakukan sebagai upaya mendesain kurikulum Pendidikan Agama Kristen (PAK) Keluarga yang secara khusus dikembangkan untuk mengimplementasikan sakramen Perjamuan bersama anak. Sakramen Perjamuan bersama anak berdampak positif terhadap kesadaran peran orang tua dalam pendidikan iman anak-anaknya. Dalam praksisnya, orang tua bertanggung jawab untuk memberikan pemahaman dan mempersiapkan keterlibatan anak-anak mereka dalam sakramen Perjamuan. Sesuai dengan tujuan spesifik ini  model Backward Design dipandang lebih sesuai karena dalam proses perancangannya “tujuan yang diharapkan”menjadi tahap pertama yang dipertimbangkan dengan matang. Dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dan pendekatan studi kepustakaan penelitian ini menghasilkan desain kurikulum PAK Keluarga yang lebih relevan, menjawab kebutuhan spesifik yang diharapkan khususnya berkaitan dengan implementasi pemahaman sakramen Perjamuan bersama anak.

Abstract

The objective of this paper is to describe and evaluate the implementation of community service conducted by the author from the Graduate Program of Universitas Kristen Indonesia Jakarta to build community awareness of education and health, two forgotten areas that this service targeted for the Hmong tribe in Ban Nong, Hadxayfong District, Vientiane Prefecture, Laos. The steps and strategies chosen for this Hmong community outreach included a survey of health care and education opportunities and partner referrals on which the strategies were based. The strategy included counseling on healthy teeth and nails and promotion of the importance of schooling, especially for children, delivered through education, especially for young families (counseling on healthy teeth and nails and counseling on the essence of education), conducted through presentations to the participants with the support of World Prayer International. We conducted the outreach over a one-week period, during which it gave approximately 100 participants including mothers and children education and demonstrations on how to properly brush their teeth and take care of their nails to keep them free from disease. On average, 60% of the participants who attended this counseling claimed to understand how to brush their teeth properly, how to care for and clean their nails, and the importance of education for children. Awareness of the importance of maintaining healthy teeth and nails increased by 10% after they received the education. The outreach and community engagement strategy, especially the provision of toothbrush and nail clipper packs, made the outreach more effective as the researchers practiced it directly in front of the participants.

Abstract

Pendidikan agama Kristen mengajarkan bahwa sebagai umat manusia harus saling membantu dalam kehidupan sehari-hari dimana semua anggotanya saling membantu dan menjaga lingkungannya agar hidup rukun dan damai. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai Dalihan Natolu, seperti persamaan, kesetaraan, dan kepentingan bersama, menciptakan suasana damai dan solidaritas dalam masyarakat. Analisis dilakukan dengan mengacu pada teori sosiologi agama Emile Durkheim, yang menekankan peran agama dalam memelihara persatuan dan solidaritas sosial dalam konteks masyarakat.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggunakan pandangan Durkheim tentang peran agama dalam memperkuat kesatuan social sebagai alat analisis terhadap konsep Dalihan Natolu. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian karya ini menyatakan bahwa teori religio-sosiologi sosial Emile Durkheim dapat menggambarkan bagaimana pendidikan agama Kristen dapat dikaitkan dengan filosofi “Dalihan Natolu” dalam budaya Batak Toba dimana semua agama berkaitan dengan sikap masyarakat.

Abstract

Culture is a legacy of ancestors that continues to develop, but the integration of religion and culture often causes debate in a society. The Mangongkal Holi ritual of the Toba Batak tribe in North Sumatra is the subject of research in relation to the perspective of Christianity. This research aims to use Durkheim's view of the relationship between religion and culture as a tool to analyze Mangongkal Holi. In addition, the researcher offers the role of Adult Christian Religious Education as a solution regarding the integration of religion and culture in this tradition. The research shows how moral solidarity in Christianity affects the understanding and practice of the Mangongkal Holi tradition. In addition, Adult Christian Religious Education is proposed as an educational method to strengthen the community's understanding of the relationship between religion and this cultural tradition. This approach emphasizes self-direction and the desire for continuous learning as important elements in understanding the integration of religion and culture.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menjelajahi pembelajaran inklusif di Sekolah Lapang Cirau Bogor untuk mengatasi tantangan kemajemukan di Indonesia. Menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif, hasil menunjukkan anggota Sekolah Lapang memahami pentingnya jiwa nasionalis dalam semangat Bhineka Tunggal Ika. SL PDIP Cariu Bogor, tanpa memandang status sosial, ras, atau keyakinan, menerapkan pembinaan spiritual dan karakter berbasis Pancasila. Meskipun belum merinci kurikulum, SL PDIP Cariu Bogor telah mengimplementasikan kerangka konseptual melalui pelatihan peternakan, perikanan, pertanian, dan budidaya jamur, bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan desa untuk mandiri ekonomi. Pendidikan multikultural di SL PDIP Cariu Bogor menjadi instrumen rekayasa sosial, membentuk sikap inklusif dan kesadaran multikultural, serta membangun kembali semangat kebangsaan, solidaritas, toleransi, dan kerjasama dalam masyarakat majemuk.

Abstract

AI ethics is a branch of ethics that focuses on moral principles in the development and use of AI technologies. This research aims to integrate AI ethics in Christian religious education and explore the opportunities and challenges in the process, as well as strategies to overcome these challenges. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with literature studies from various sources such as books, national and international journals, and websites. The results show the importance of integrating AI ethics in Christian religious education to shape students' characters, prepare their future, and improve the quality of learning. Challenges faced include limited resources, digital divide, lack of understanding of AI ethics, and the need for adequate supervision and regulation. Strategies to address these challenges include improving technological infrastructure, training for teachers, and developing policies that support the integration of AI ethics in Christian religious education.

Abstract

This study examines the intersection between Christian religious education and Javanese educational traditions, focusing on the theories and teaching methods found in the Bible and the philosophy of Ki Hajar Dewantara. The research highlights how biblical figures such as Abraham, Moses, David, Solomon, Nehemiah, Jesus, and Paul embodied educational principles that align with Dewantara’s education philosophy. Both traditions emphasize holistic education, character formation, mentorship, and community-based learning. By drawing from both traditions, Christian religious education in Indonesia can integrate biblical teachings with local wisdom to create a more effective and contextually relevant learning system. This synthesis can strengthen character formation, intellectual growth, and spiritual development while fostering a deeper appreciation of cultural heritage. The study ultimately advocates for a dynamic, inclusive Christian education that respects biblical principles and indigenous educational philosophies.

Abstract

This study explores the application of Max Weber's seminal work, Protestant Ethics and the Spirit of Capitalism, as a basis for Christian religious education to effectively address the issue of poverty in modern society. By examining the historical context and underlying principles, the author suggests how Christian religious education can use Weber's ideas to promote critical understanding of economic issues and empower people to participate in overcoming poverty. The method used is a literature study approach, where the author collects data from books and relevant topics or issues in this research. The results of this study seek to bridge Weber's sociological insights with the teachings of Christian religious education, by looking at how the principles of hard work, discipline, and individual responsibility can be instilled through the lens of Christian religious education to empower communities in the fight against poverty. By instilling values that promote economic empowerment, community development, and social responsibility, Christian religious education emerges as a powerful tool to address the challenges of poverty in contemporary society.

Abstract

Abstract:This study aims to describe the implementation of the Christian religious education teacher working group (KKG) in improving the professional competence of PAK teachers in Muaro Jambi Regency in the Implementation of the Independent Curriculum. The research method used is a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. From the results of the study, it was found that very few PAK SD teachers in Muaro Jambi Regency were touched in the process of increasing their professional competence in implementing the curriculum, especially the newly launched Independent Curriculum. The results of the study stated that the empowerment of the PAK KKG in Muaro Jambi Regency and the implementation in accordance with the provisions, namely planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating the KKG could improve the professional competence of PAK teachers in Muaro Jambi Regency in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum.Keywords: merdeka curriculum; KKG PAK, teacher's professional competence Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan Kelompok Kerja Guru (KKG) Pendidikan Agama Kristen dalam peningkatan kompetensi profesioanl Guru PAK Kabupaten Muaro Jambi dalam Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Dari hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa guru PAK SD Kabupaten Muaro Jambi masih sangat sedikit yang tersentuh dalam proses peningkatan kompetensi profesionalnya dalam mengimpletasikan kurikulum apalagi Kurikulum Merdeka yang baru diluncurkan. Hasil penelitian menyebutkan bahwa pemberdayaan KKG PAK Kabupaten Muaro Jambi serta pelaksanaan yang sesuai ketentuan yaitu perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi KKG dapat meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru PAK Kabupaten Muaro Jambi dalam mengimplementasikan Kurikulum Merdeka.Katakunci: kurikulum merdeka, KKG PAK, kompetensi profesional guru
