Abstract

Penjemuran kerupuk kemplang bergantung kondisi cuaca sehingga laju waktu pengeringan kerupuk kemplang pada UMKM kerupuk kemplang lebih lama saat musim hujan, menyebabkan produk lembab dan berjamur. Tujuan peneliti membuat alat pengering panel surya ini agar kemplang lebih cepat kering dengan kadar air lebih rendah.  Metode yang digunakan jenis data primer menggunakan teknik analisis data deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil pengujian kadar air kerupuk kemplang dengan perbandingan pengeringan menggunakan  drying chips dengan direct sun drying yaitu, untuk waktu pengeringan kemplang dengan diameter 3,93 cm jika menggunakan direct sun drying memerlukan waktu 3 hari sedangkan jika menggunakan drying chips hanya memerlukan waktu 1 hari pengeringan. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa drying chips mampu mengeringkan  kemplang lebih cepat.   Kata Kunci: Laju waktu pengeringan, Panel surya,  Drying chips

Abstract

Inovasi pengolahan singkong menjadi stik singkong dan produk frozen food merupakan langkah strategis untuk meningkatkan nilai jual singkong, terutama di daerah Bogor yang dikenal dengan luas panen singkong yang signifikan. Penelitian ini dilakukan oleh lima mahasiswa Universitas Djuanda dalam Program Wirausaha Mandiri 2024, bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan keilmuan wirausaha dan memberikan solusi bagi petani singkong yang sering menghadapi harga jual yang rendah. Stik singkong, yang memiliki bentuk dan tekstur mirip dengan french fries, diolah secara higienis tanpa bahan pengawet, menggunakan kaldu jamur sebagai pengganti MSG, sehingga menghasilkan cita rasa yang tinggi. Proses pembuatan stik singkong meliputi pengupasan, perebusan, pencampuran dengan bumbu, pengukusan, dan penggorengan. Hasil dari pengenalan produk ini di masyarakat menunjukkan respon positif, dengan banyaknya minat untuk mencoba dan membuat stik singkong sendiri. Inovasi ini tidak hanya memberikan alternatif konsumsi yang lebih modern, tetapi juga berpotensi meningkatkan pendapatan petani singkong melalui pembelian yang berkelanjutan. Dengan demikian, pengolahan singkong menjadi stik singkong dan produk frozen food diharapkan dapat memberikan dampak ekonomi yang signifikan bagi masyarakat lokal. Kata kunci: Singkong, stik singkong, frozen food, inovasi, kewirausahaan.

Abstract

E-Commerce is an application that supports buying and selling activities using internet media so that many people can access it. the development of complex e-commerce systems requires an effective project management approach to produce products that meet user needs and are completed optimally. Agile methods, especially SCRUM, are becoming an increasingly popular choice in software development, including for e-commerce projects. The SCRUM method is applied in several sprints, which include planning, development, testing, and evaluation stages. After several sprints were completed, Integration Testing was conducted to evaluate system performance and integration between modules, such as user login, product management, shopping cart, checkout, and payment gateway. Based on the results of Integration Testing, the e-commerce system developed with the SCRUM method shows a success rate of 91%.

Abstract

Background: Kasumba turatea (Carthamus tinctorius) has long been empirically used by the people of South Sulawesi as a traditional medicine for diseases caused by viral infections. This plant is known to contain compounds such as thymol, carvacrol, carthamon, chalcone, and linalool, which have potential immunomodulatory activity, including relevance to multiple sclerosis. One of the immune mechanisms which play a role is interferon beta (IFN-β), whose function is influenced by β-glucan, which can enhance IFN-β expression. Objective: This study aims to explore the interaction between thymol, carvacrol, carthamon, chalcone, and linalool — compounds with immunomodulatory— and IFN-β through acomputational (in silico) approach. Methods: The method used in this study is molecular docking using AutoDock Tools, AutoDock Vina, and Discovery Studio applications. The 3D structure of interferon beta was obtained from the Protein Data Bank (PDB) with PDB ID 1AU1. Beta-D-glucan (BDG) was used as the control compound. The ligands examined included carthamon, carvacrol, chalcone, linalool, and thymol. Results: Docking results showed that carthamon exhibitedthe highest binding affinity among the ligands. Key residues involved in ligand interaction at the active site of IFN-β were glutamic acid 42, arginine 28, serine 13, asparagine 90, and leucine 9, which interacted via hydrogen bonds. Conclusion:This study provides preliminary evidence that active compounds from kasumba turatea, particularly carthamon, have the potential to interact wit IFN-β. These findings can serve as a foundation for further research to examine the interaction of carthamon with IFN-β, which could enhance immunomodulatory capabilities.
