Abstract

SOCIALIZATION OF VARIOUS STUDY PROGRAMS IN COMPUTER SCIENCE CLUMS FOR SMA/SMK STUDENTS IN WEST SUMATERA. The international computer curriculum has determined that computer science has 5 courses of study. However, not all people know in detail about the scope of learning and competencies of each of these study programs. Ignorance of prospective students about this difference in scope can cause problems in the studies they take later, such as being not enthusiastic about studying because they feel that they are in the wrong major or students' unpreparedness in accepting the competence of the study program. Therefore, socialization is given to high school students in the hope of disseminating information and basic knowledge about the scope of the study of the various study programs so that it becomes a provision for the younger generation to choose an education that will determine their future careers. This socialization activity was attended by 36 participants from various schools in several different provinces. The results of the survey conducted at the end of the activity showed that 60.5% of the participants were confident about their choice of study plan. This percentage confirms that the objectives of the outreach activities have been well achieved.

Abstract

Apotek Sentral Herbal Jaya adalah UKM yang bergerak dibidang penjualan obat-obatan untuk berbagai macam penyakit yang sedang berkembang dikota Padang. Permasalahan yang terjadi adalah tidak adanya laporan obat yang terjual,laporan pembelian obat ke pemasok sehingga laporan persediaan obat tidak jelas tiap bulannya. Jadi beberapa persediaan obat yang habis tidak diketahui oleh pihak apotek.Untuk menyelesaikan masalah tersebut, apotek memerlukan sistem yang mengintegrasikan antara pembelian dan penjualan, agar persediaan obat dapat diketahui. Salah satu sistem informasi yang terintegrasi adalah Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). Pemilihan perangkat lunak ini dilakukan dengan melakukan analisis terhadap kebutuhan apotek, diberikan kriteria pemilihan dan meninjau sekilas tentang perangkat lunak ERP yang dipilih untuk dibandingkan. Setelah pemilihan perangkat lunak ERP dilakukan, maka yang dipilih untuk digunakan adalah Odoo. Implementasi dilakukan dengan cara menganalisis proses bisnis dengan menggunakan Bussiness Process Model Notation (BPMN) dan melakukan kostumisasi modul Odoo yang diperlukan apotek. Selanjutnya diimplementasikan dan dilakukan pengujian dengan cara membandingkan dokumen yang didapat dari apotek dengan dokumen yang dihasilkan oleh perangkat lunak. Setelah diimplementasikan dan dilakukan pengujian, maka terlihat bahwa perangkat lunak Odoo dapat memenuhi kebutuhan apotek secara fungsional. Sentral Herbal Jaya Pharmacy is Small Management Enterprise that has a business on medicine products forvarious diseases which break out in the city of Padang. The problem of Information System that occurs in the company is there’s the lack of medicine reports for the selling of products and the reports of purchasing for the medicine to suppliers, so that the inventory report for the medicine’s circulation is hardly known or analyzed in each month. As consequence, the amount of medicine’s supplies is fully counted or known by the pharmacy. To resolve these problems, the pharmacy requires a system that integrates 2 components between the purchase and the sale of products, in order to make the amount and supply of pharmacy’s medicines to be known. One of the common integrated information system is Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). The Software’s selection was based on analysis of the practical needs of pharmacy, including the giving of criteria and the short review of functional summaries of certain ERP softwares that were chosen preliminary for comparison. After ERP software was selected, the decision of application that we recommend for the pharmacy to use is Odoo. Implementation was done by analyzing the business processes based on Business Process Model Notation (BPMN) and making the required customization of Odoo’s modules suitable for pharmacy. Further, the implementation needed to be tested by comparing the documents obtained from pharmacy’s manual purchasing with documents produced by the software. After being fully implemented and tested, it can be concluded that the software can meet the needs of Information System in the pharmacy using Odoo application functionally

Abstract

UPTD Balai Metrologi merupakan salah satu unit pelayanan teknis daerah yang memiliki tugas pokok melakukan pengelolaan dasar standar ukuran dan melakukan tera alat-alat ukur takar, timbang, dan perlengkapannya (UTTP). Proses peneraan terjadi pada setiap hari secara bersamaan dengan pelanggan dan petugas tera yang berbeda, sehingga pelaporan data sangat padat setiap harinya. Penyimpanan data perusahaan masih dilakukan dengan Microsoft Excel yang mengakibatkan sering terjadi redudansi dan duplikasi data.Oleh karena itu, dibangun sebuah sistem informasi pelayanan tera yang dapat diakses secara online dan mudah penggunaannya.Sistem ini dibangun dengan menggunakan metode waterfall dan memiliki fitur mobile. Pada tahap awal pembangunan penulis melakukan studi literatur tentang proses bisnis perusahaan, kemudian menganalisis kebutuhan dari perusahaan tersebut, menggunakan use case diagram untuk pemisahan jobdesc actor, rancangan database dengan ER-diagram, statechart diagram, dan user interface. Tahap berikutnya yaitu perancangan sistem dengan menggunakan bahasa pemograman PHP untuk mengakses server serta phoneGap untuk menghasilkan aplikasi mobile.Pengujian dilakukan dengan metode blackbox testing. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan keluaran yang sama dengan yang diharapkan. UPTD Metrology Institute is one of the local technical services unit area that has a functional duty to conduct the basic management of measurement standard and perform calibration tools peck measure, weigh, and equipment. Calibration process occurs on a daily basis along with the customer and different tera clerk, affecting on the density of the reporting data every day. The current enterprise data storage is assissted with Microsoft Excel which resulted in frequent redundancies and duplication of data. Based on this matter, therewill be a new tera information system proposed built in an information system calibration services that can be accessed online and easier to use. The system is built using the waterfall method and have mobile features. In the early stages of development the authors conducted a study of the literature on the company's business processes, and then analyze the requirements of the company, using the use case diagram for the separation jobdesk actor, database design with ER-diagrams, statechart diagrams, and user interface. The next stage is the design of the system by using the PHP programming language to access the server and PhoneGap to generate mobile applications. Tests carried out by the method of blackbox testing. The results show that the output is equal to the expected.

Abstract

Science Techno Park (STP) Unand's partnership with various government, business, and legal institutions will continue for the foreseeable future in order to disseminate innovators' knowledge to the larger community. The issue that frequently arises is that the file search procedure is tough to locate. Furthermore, the enormous number of inventors at Andalas University are recorded in Microsoft Excel files, making it difficult for users to locate inventory data. The data that is then entered is frequently duplicated, leaving the user perplexed about the information presented. As a result, at STP Unand's Technology Business Development Center, a web-based cooperative information system was created. The goal is for STP Unand's engagement with partners to be automated, and for data collecting on the number of inventors in Unand to be structured. The SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) method is used in this study. SDLC is a software development cycle that encompasses software development techniques, phases, and tools. The waterfall paradigm was used in the design of this application. the waterfall method was successfully used to build or design a collaborative information system application. Based on the outcomes of each stage of the waterfall method, namely analysis, design, coding, and system testing, it is possible to conclude that the design of this collaborative information system application has been successfully built in accordance with needs.

Abstract

In this globalization era that we face nowadays, information technology is the most important thing to be learnt or just to be known. Because in this all-sophisticated era, almost all the live's aspects are related with information and technology. It's not exception to determine the level of major popularized in on of University. In it's implementation, for sure it's difficult to determine which major is being the most popular, because there are so many data, so the process of decision making run slowly if it is done with standard query on database. Here is the used of Business Intelligence is really needed. By implemented Business Intelligence, the big data can be processed without any difficulties. On this research, application that we use is TABLEAU. TABLEAU is chosen because of its ease and its velocity on processing data. So that, it's hoped can ease in decision making for determining the most popular major at Andalas University.

Abstract

Senior High School 1 Batusangkar is a public school that has utilized technology in the implementation of school activities, starting from the presence of a website as an information room, using computers and the internet at school. In addition, this school is also equipped with four computer laboratories which are used for teaching rooms for students. However, in daily activities, the data generated by the school has not been integrated into an information system properly. This has become a momentum for the Department of Information Systems, UNAND in assisting schools in implementing, socializing and educating the school information system JIBAS (Inter-School Information Network) at Senior High School 1 Batusangkar as a tangible form of carrying out the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, namely community service. JIBAS is a school management information system that helps school operations ranging from academics, finance, libraries, reporting and teacher-student interactions. It is hoped that this system can help schools organize, manage and tidy up their data. Thus, this data becomes information that flows and is useful for various interested parties. The implementation method for this activity consists of three stages, namely preparation, implementation, and evaluation. After this community service activity was carried out, the school felt that this system was very good to be developed and used further for school activities as a whole. However, with the various other features that exist in JIBAS besides the Academic features, the school needs to study other features so that the effectiveness and efficiency presented by this system can be felt by the school..

Abstract

SIMNag (Nagari Management Information System) Kamang Mudiak is an information system in the nagari Kamang Mudiak. The SIMNag includes the Andalas University Service Team's web-based nagari management information system. The SIMNag menu includes a Nagari Profile, which includes information about the nagari symbol, vision and mission, organizational structure, government history, nagari history, maps of the nagari, nagari achievements, legal products, and nagari potential wealth. Furthermore, information about public information is provided, specifically nagari news related to the 11 pillars of Nagari Tageh, which include tags for health, education, food, economy, faith, bundo kanduang tags, mudo paga nagari tags, and information-based tags Digital bills, disaster bills, security and social disease bills, and law bills are all examples of bills. The developer of this application's distinctive feature, in addition to the nagari tageh feature, is the convenience feature for nagari residents to input or update their own personal and family data online. As a result, data on nagari Kamang Mudiak residents will always be updated without the need to wait for the nagari apparatus to do so. Furthermore, residents at this SIMNag can file complaints with the nagari government about anything that occurs in the vicinity of the population. It is necessary to assess the SIMNag. It is necessary to evaluate the SIMNag that has been built in order to determine the feasibility of the SIMNag application in facilitating community services. This research employs two approaches: PIECES (Performance, Information/Data, Economy, Control, Efficiency, and Security) and UAT (User Acceptance Testing). The research results in an evaluation of the system that was built, namely the nagari information system (SIMNag) in the Nagari Kamang Mudiak.

Abstract

Selama ini proses untuk mengetahui hasil keputusan dari pemeriksaan Medical Check Up (MCU) dilakukan secara manual yaitu berdasarkan catatan hasil dari pemeriksaan masing-masing layanan MCU yang ada, kemudian datanya direkap dan diolah melalui aplikasi rumah sakit, sehingga baru didapatkan hasil pemeriksaannya secara keseluruhan, kemudian dokter memberikan rekomendasi terhadap hasil tersebut kepada pasien. Hal ini tentunya membuat hasil dari MCU ini akan menjadi lambat dan kurang akurat, apalagi banyaknya pasien yang akan melakukan pemeriksaan MCU ini tentunya akan menjadikan proses perekapan hasil menjadi lama. Maka salah satu solusi yang dapat diberikan untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini adalah dengan membangun sebuah aplikasi yang dapat secara otomatis memberikan rekomendasi dari hasil rekapan pemeriksaan MCU. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun aplikasi Sistem Pendukung Keputusan (SPK) dengan memanfaatkan metode Technique For Others Preferences by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS). Metode TOPSIS dipilih untuk pembangunan Aplikasi SPK, karena model ini dapat menguraikan berbagai permasalahan yang kompleks menjadi suatu tingkatan dengan banyak faktor atau banyak kriteria, melalui konsep bahwa pilihan alternatif atau yang digunakan adalah yang terbaik. Selain itu, juga sangat memungkinkan apabila diterapkan pada permasalahan dengan banyak kriteria dan alternatif. Untuk mendukung riset ini digunakan metode pengumpulan data dalam bentuk observasi, wawancara, dokumen analisis, dan studi literatur. Luaran yang dihasilkan pada riset ini berupa model SPK yang sudah disesuaikan dengan standar nilai pemeriksaan MCU yang nantinya dijadikan sebagai acuan dalam membuat aplikasi SPK sehingga diharapkan dapat memberikan kemudahan dan mempercepat proses rekomendasi hasil MCU pada rumah sakit.

Abstract

The goal of this activityis to create an information system for incoming and outgoing letters that will help the school manage letters administration. So far, the process of managing incoming and outgoing letters at SMA Negeri 1 Sungayang, Tanah Datar Regency, West Sumatra, is still done conventionally and manually, where the process of making incoming and outgoing letters uses MS. Office (Word Processing), which, of course, is not stored in a database archive, and the school will find it difficult later to find a letter file that has been made and is very vulnerable to being damaged by viruses or the like. Meanwhile, for the process of recording and managing each incoming letter, use a ledger made in a specific format to record numbers or other information from the letters. This is also inefficient because it requires a large amount of paper, which is prone to damage or loss of archives. To accomplish this, we require an information system capable of automatically creating and managing incoming and outgoing mail and storing it in a database. The method used in building this application is the waterfall system development method. One of the applications of the incoming and outgoing mail information system is training, which is held at SMA Negeri 1 Sungayang with the participants being operators and administrative staff. The outcomes of this training activity are expected to be that the operators and administrative staff who manage incoming and outgoing letters at SMA Negeri 1 Sungayang understand how to operate the application, allowing the application for incoming and outgoing letters to be well operationalized at SMA Negeri 1 Sungayang later, that way the school can create and manage incoming and outgoing letters to be more effective, efficient and automated.

Abstract

Pemerintah berkomitmen mendukung dan memfasilitasi UMKM untuk “naik level” dengan memanfaatkan teknologi digital. Namun, hasil yang dicapai masih belum optimal. Kepulauan Mentawai adalah satu-satunya daerah 3T di Sumatera Barat. Padahal UMKM Mentawai cukup potensial untuk dikembangkan mengingat ketersediaan sumber daya alam yang melimpah di sana. Maka, sebagai bentuk tanggung jawab Insan Perguruan Tinggi dalam melayani masyarakat, dibuatlah program aplikasi marketplace untuk wilayah Mentawai. Aplikasi ini dapat mendukung UMKM sehingga menghasilkan perekonomian yang lebih baik. Marketplace yang dikembangkan membantu UMKM dari dua sisi: (1) distribusi produk Mentawai ke luar daerah khususnya kota Padang; dan (2) mempromosikan produk UMKM melalui media promosi Bulagat. Untuk mensukseskan tujuan tersebut tentunya diperlukan pendekatan yang intensif dengan masyarakat Kepulauan Mentawai. Oleh karena itu diadakan kegiatan sosialisasi untuk membentuk pola pikir digital dan memperkenalkan aplikasi Bulagat serta pendampingan kepada masyarakat dalam menggunakan aplikasi Bulagat agar masyarakat Kepulauan Mentawai dapat menjalankannya dengan lancar. The government is committed to support and facilitate MSME’s to "level up" by utilizing digital technology. However, the results achieved are still not optimal. The Mentawai Islands are the only 3T area in West Sumatra. Even though the Mentawai MSME’s have quite the potential to be developed given the availability of abundant natural resources there. So, as a form of responsibility of Higher Education personnel to community, a marketplace application program was created for the Mentawai region. This application can support MSME’s so as to produce a better economy. The developed Marketplace helps MSME’s from two sides: (1) distribution of Mentawai products outside the region, especially the city of Padang; and (2) promoting MSME’s products through Bulagat promotional media. In order to achieve the success of this goal, of course, an intensive approach is needed with the people of the Mentawai Islands. Therefore, socialization activities were held to form a digital mindset and introduce the Bulagat application and assistance to the community in using the Bulagat application so that the people of the Mentawai Islands could run it fluently.
