Abstract

Critical thinking skills, is an important asset that students must have as a provision for dealing with technological developments and the effects of globalization in the era of disruption towards the era of society 5.0. One effort to develop students' critical thinking skills is through the socratic dialogue method. In general, this study aims to find out how the effectiveness of the socratic dialogue method can develop the critical thinking skills of students in class XI IPS at SMA Negeri 1 Batujajar in 2022-2023. The research approach uses a quantitative approach with experimental methods, non-equivalent control-group design. Sampling technique using non-probability homogenous sampling technique on 162 students of class XI IPS SMAN 1 Batujajar. Data collection uses a measuring tool in the form of a critical thinking skills test instrument. The results of the study show: (1) the profile of students' critical thinking skills is generally in the medium category; (2) the socratic dialogue method is effective for developing critical thinking skills; (3) all aspects of critical thinking skills experience a significant increase in value with the treatment of the socratic dialogue method.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of career guidance services on career interests of class XI students SMA Mutiara 2 Bandung. This research uses the research method of counseling guidance action (PTBK) with the subject of research as many as  20 students of clas XI SMA Mutiara 2 Bandung. The method of data collaction using observation, interviews, and research documentation. Consists of 2 cycles. While the data analysis technique used descriptive analytical analysis. The process of data analysis begins by examining all the data obtained, either though interviews or observations. Then described by using percentage analysis. The Results of the study indicate that in the initial conditions,students’ career intrests are still in the “not good” category, in the first cycle there are indicators that have increased in the “very good” category, namely the indicator of introduction to the world of work with descriptors knowing the world of work, with percentage of by 75% of the 15 students. While in the second cycle all indicators have increases by getting the “very good” category with a percentage of >80% on each indicator from 18 students. Thus, it can be concluded that career guidance services can affect the career interests of students in class XI SMA Muttiara 2 Bandung.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui harga diri peserta didik SMKN 12 Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah random sampling atau teknik acak , yaitu teknik pengambilan sampel yang memberikan kesempatan yang sama kepada setiap anggota yang ada dalam suatu populasi untuk dijadikan sampel. Penentuan Jumlah sampel dari populasi tertentu dikembangkan dari Isaac dan  Michael, untuk tingkat kesalahan 1%, 5% dan 10%. Pada penelitian ini sampel yang digunakan adalah tingkat kesalahan 5% yaitu 191 peserta didik. (Sugiyono, 2009, hlm 69). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa harga diri dengan kategori tinggi.

Abstract

Career is a lifelong process, so it needs to be formed as early as possible to achieve a career that suits the individual. Career education can be started when the child is in elementary school. At this level, children begin to be introduced to jobs in the surrounding environment. In addition, teachers, parents and the community participate in providing learning about themselves to children related to gender, morals, social skills, Self-Esteem, and Self-Efficacy. The formation of one's career must start early, so that since elementary school a child must be given an understanding of career. The understanding given can be through games by introducing jobs that exist in the environment around the home and school. Career development for children also needs to be adjusted to their developmental tasks. as parents and teachers must also know the talents and interests of children from an early age to be able to better direct children. The directives carried out here are not coercion in accordance with the wishes of the parents/teachers, but according to the potential of the child.Keywords:   service strategy, career guidance, elementary school

Abstract

Abstrak: Kemampuan regulasi emosi sangat dibutuhkan bagi siswa. Dengan memiliki regulasi emosi yang baik, remaja dapat mengelola emosi negatif dan berperilaku dengan cara yang dapat diterima oleh orang lain, dapat mengatasi perasaan sedih, kecewa, dan putus asa sehingga dapat menghindari terjadinya depresi. Tugas utama Bimbingan dan Konseling yaitu memberikan layanan bantuan kepada peserta didik untuk mencapai perkembangan dirinya secara optimal. Salah  satu  media  dalam pemberian layanan  yang  diharapkan  dapat menciptakan suasana  yang menarik dan kondusif yaitu  dengan  penggunaan media flash flipbook. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode research and development (RnD) model Borg & Gall yang meliputi 7 langkah. Penelitian ini dilakukan di kelas SMA 1 Batujajar dengan melibatkan 38 siswa. Berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli materi diperoleh hasil penilaian memiliki skor rata-rata sebesar 79,3% dan termasuk kategori layak. Berdasarkan validasi ahli media diperoleh hasil rata-rata sebesar 89% dan termasuk kategori sangat layak. Berdasarkan hasil validasi dari ahli praktisi diperoleh skor rata-rata sebesar 87,7% dan termasuk kategori sangat layak. Hasil persentasi dari pemahaman siswa terkait regulasi  emosi dapat dikategorikan Paham dengan rata-rata sebesar 58%, sehingga Ini membuktikan bahwa media flash flipbook layak digunakan dalam meningkatkan keterampilan regulasi emosi siswa.Abstract:  Emotional regulation skills are very necessary for students. By having good emotional regulation, teenagers can manage negative emotions and behave in a way that is acceptable to others, can overcome feelings of sadness, disappointment and despair so that they can avoid depression. The main task of Guidance and Counseling is to provide assistance services to students to achieve optimal personal development. One of the media in providing services that is expected to create an attractive and conducive atmosphere is the use of flash flipbook media. In this research, the Borg & Gall model of research and development (RnD) method is used, which includes 7 steps. This research was conducted in the class of SMA 1 Batujajar involving 38 students. Based on the validation results from material experts, the assessment results showed that the average score was 79.3% and was included in the feasible category. Based on media expert validation, the average result was 89% and was included in the very feasible category. Based on validation results from expert practitioners, an average score of 87.7% was obtained and was included in the very feasible category. The percentage results of students' understanding regarding emotional regulation can be categorized as Understanding with an average of 58%, so this proves that the flash flipbook media is suitable for use in improving students' emotional regulation skills.

Abstract

This text aims to present the results of a survey of the cooperation character of vocational school students in Pekanbaru City based on the extracurricular activities they participate in. The research population was vocational school students and the sample was drawn using simple random sampling technique. The data analysis used is quantitative with descriptive data type. The results found that the character of student cooperation based on the variety of extracurricular activities on average was in the moderate category. Extracurricular activities not only foster students' interests and talents, but also have a positive influence on the character of cooperation and provide students with opportunities to develop strong character.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menguji kelayakan e-modul Career Decision Making sebagai media layanan bimbingan dan konseling yang mendukung peningkatan kemampuan pengambilan keputusan karier siswa SMA dalam implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka. Permasalahan yang mendasari penelitian ini adalah terbatasnya bahan ajar interaktif yang dapat membantu siswa membuat keputusan karier secara mandiri dan sistematis.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan mengadaptasi model Borg and Gall dengan mengadaptasi 7 tahapan saja, melalui tahapan: (1) Potensi dan Masalah, (2) Pengumpulan data (Analisis Kebutuhan) (3) perencanaan, (4) pengembangan produk awal, (5) validasi ahli media, ahli materi, dan praktisi BK, (6) revisi produk, serta (7) uji coba terbatas dan uji coba pemakaian. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas 10 siswa pada uji coba produk awal dan 36 siswa pada uji coba pemakaian. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi angket kelayakan ahli, angket praktisi BK, serta angket respon siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa e-modul Career Decision Making memperoleh tingkat kelayakan yang sangat tinggi, dengan perolehan nilai: desain produk awal 75% (layak), hasil revisi praktisi BK 93,2% (sangat layak), validasi ahli media 96% (sangat layak), validasi ahli materi 90% (sangat layak), serta uji coba pemakaian tahap 1 sebesar 82,1% (layak) dan tahap 2 sebesar 93,2% (sangat layak). Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa e-modul Career Decision Making yang dikembangkan sangat layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran inovatif dalam layanan bimbingan karier dan berpotensi meningkatkan kemampuan pengambilan keputusan karier siswa SMA sesuai tuntutan Kurikulum Merdeka.

Abstract

Dalam penelitian ini, marantau merujuk pada mahasiswa asal Minang (Sumatera Barat) yang tinggal di Bandung selama masa studi. Ada banyak mahasiswa yang mendapati diri mereka jauh dari rumah untuk pertama kalinya, mahasiswa mulai bertanggung jawab atas kesehatan, manajemen keuangan, dan kebahagiaan mereka sendiri. Penelitian ini mengkaji dan menggambarkan kondisi psychological well-being (PWB) atau mahasiswa marantau. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga mengidentifikasi usia dan variabel lain yang dapat berperan sebagai prediktor untuk menafsirkan PWB pada mahasiswa Marantau. Partisipan mengisi kuisioner menggunakan skala Kesejahteraan Psikologis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kondisi psychological well-being (PWB) mahasiswa berada pada kategori baik. Efek interaksi variabel individual dan kontekstual disajikan dalam penelitian ini serta implikasinya dalam bimbingan dan konseling.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi profil toleransi pada mahasiswa di Bandung raya. Ruang lingkup penelitian ini mencakup konsep teori toleransi dan aspek toleransi. Metode yang digunakan ialah metode cross-sectional survey dengan pendekatan Kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini ialah mahasiswa di fakultas keguruan dan ilmu pendidikan kampus-kampus swasta di Bandung raya. Pengambilan sampel penelitian menggunakan teknik random sampling. Adapun Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 846 mahasiswa. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen toleransi. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam peneleitian ini yakni menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan profil toleransi mahasiswa yang terbanyak berada kategori sedang berjumlah 599 orang atau sekitar 70,8%, kedua, mahasiswa yang memiliki profil toleransi kategori tinggi yakni berjumlah 137 orang atau sekitar 16,2%.  Terakhir, mahasiswa yang memiliki profil toleransi kategori rendah yakni 110 responden atau 13%. Begitupun aspek toleransi yang terdiri dari aspek kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotor berada pada kategori sedang. Hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi bahan dan pertimbangan bagi penelitian selanjutnya untuk menyusun model atau program layanan bimbingan dan konseling yang secara empirik digunakan untuk mengembangkan toleransi.    Abstract: This research aims to explore the tolerance profile of students in Greater Bandung. The scope of this research includes the concept of tolerance theory and aspects of tolerance. The method used is a cross-sectional survey method with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were students from teaching and education faculties at private campuses in Greater Bandung. Research samples were taken using random sampling techniques. The research sample consisted of 846 students. Data collection uses tolerance instruments. Data analysis used in this research uses descriptive statistics. The results of this research show that the highest tolerance profile of students is in the medium category, amounting to 599 people or around 70.8%, secondly, students who have a tolerance profile in the high category are 137 people or around 16.2%. Finally, students who had a low tolerance profile were 110 respondents or 13%. Likewise, the tolerance aspect consisting of cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects is in the medium category. The results of this research can be used as material and consideration for further research to develop a guidance and counseling service model or program that can be used empirically to develop tolerance.

Abstract

In the era of globalization, the ability to interact in a multicultural society is an important skill that must be possessed by the younger generation. However, many students still have difficulty in understanding and appreciating the value of tolerance due to limited cross-cultural experience. This community service activity aims to improve students' understanding and empathy for cultural diversity through a psychoeducational approach and the use of Virtual Reality (VR) technology at SMKS Maarif Terpadu Cicalengka. This program involved 70 students and three BK teachers, and was carried out through three stages of activities: psychoeducation, interactive lectures, and discussion sessions. The method used was qualitative-descriptive with a participatory approach, equipped with pre and post questionnaires and direct observation. The results of the activity showed that the use of VR in multicultural interaction simulations succeeded in increasing students' cognitive and emotional awareness of the importance of tolerance, as well as encouraging changes in attitudes towards a more inclusive direction. These findings strengthen the argument that the integration of immersive technology such as VR, when applied appropriately and contextually, can be an effective approach in character education and strengthen the values ​​of diversity among students.
