Abstract

The application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become a major focus in increasing operational efficiency in various industrial sectors, including manufacturing. This research explores the application of AI in improving operational efficiency at PT. XYZ, a manufacturing company operating in a certain sector. Using a qualitative approach with case studies as the main framework, this research collects data through interviews with company management, observations on the production floor, and historical data analysis. Research findings show that AI implementation has had a positive impact by improving productivity, product quality and supply chain management. However, challenges such as limited skilled human resources and high implementation costs were also identified. Based on the findings, suggestions were put forward, including investment in employee training, implementation cost reduction strategies, exploration of broader AI integration, and increased awareness of the benefits of AI among employees and stakeholders. By implementing these suggestions, PT. XYZ can further maximize the potential of AI to increase operational efficiency and maintain its competitiveness in the manufacturing industry. This research also makes an important contribution to manufacturing industry stakeholders more broadly and to the academic literature on AI and the manufacturing industry.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan membandingkan efektivitas siaran langsung dalam mempromosikan produk fashion secara online di dua platform media sosial populer, yaitu Instagram dan TikTok. Siaran langsung telah menjadi alat pemasaran yang semakin signifikan, memungkinkan interaksi real-time antara penjual dan konsumen, serta memberikan pengalaman belanja yang lebih imersif. Instagram dan TikTok, masing-masing dengan karakteristik dan demografi penggunanya yang berbeda, menawarkan fitur siaran langsung yang dimanfaatkan oleh merek-merek fashion untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan dan mendorong pembelian impulsif. Studi ini mengeksplorasi perbedaan dalam dampak siaran langsung di kedua platform tersebut, dengan mempertimbangkan faktor-faktor seperti daya tarik visual, interaksi pengguna, dan efektivitas konten dalam mempengaruhi keputusan pembelian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun kedua platform efektif dalam mendorong penjualan produk fashion, terdapat perbedaan signifikan dalam cara pengguna merespons siaran langsung, dengan TikTok cenderung lebih menarik bagi audiens yang lebih muda melalui konten yang dinamis dan kreatif, sementara Instagram lebih efektif dalam membangun hubungan yang lebih mendalam dengan pengguna melalui estetika visual dan kredibilitas influencer. Temuan ini memberikan wawasan penting bagi pelaku bisnis dalam merancang strategi pemasaran yang tepat sasaran berdasarkan karakteristik platform yang berbeda.

Abstract

This study examines the role of dividend policy in moderating the effect of capital structure, profitability, and liquidity on firm value. A quantitative approach was used, with Tobin's Q to measure firm value, Debt Equity Ratio (DER) for capital structure, Return on Assets (ROA) for profitability, and Current Ratio (CR) for liquidity. Dividend policy was measured using the Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR) as a moderating variable in the relationship between capital structure, profitability, and liquidity with firm value. Data was obtained from the annual financial statements of companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2018 to 2022. Multiple linear regression analysis was applied to test the relationships among these variables. The results show that dividend policy plays a role in moderating the relationship between capital structure and firm value. However, the effect of dividend policy on the relationship between profitability and firm value was not significant. Liquidity also did not show a significant effect on firm value in this model. This study emphasizes the importance of dividend policy in the efficient management of capital structure to enhance firm value. These findings provide guidance for strategic decisions in determining dividend policies to improve financial performance.
