Abstract

Data siswa MA Muhammadiyah Curup belum cukup untuk menerima siswa baru selama empat tahun terakhir. Sekolah tidak dapat melakukan sosialisasi ke sekolah sepenuhnya karena pandemi COVID-19. Selain itu, orang tua terus mempertimbangkan untuk mendaftarkan anak mereka di sekolah umum atau madrasah. dengan sedikit data yang dikumpulkan selama pandemi.Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif yang menggunakan analisis data diskriftif kualitatif. Data primer dikumpulkan dari wawancara dengan sumber informasi di lapangan dan data sekunder dikumpulkan dari penelitian kepustakaan.Menurut hasil penelitian (1), kepala sekolah menggunakan strategi untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan dan minat lanjut studi dengan membentuk panitia, program kerja, strategi PPDB, produk pendidikan yang unggul untuk promosi, program unggulan, lokasi strategis madrasah, tim kerja untuk menerima peserta didik baru, pemetaan wilayah target promosi, dan kerja sama dengan sekolah lain. Faktor apa yang mendorong siswa untuk terus belajar di Madrasah Aliyah Muhammadiyah Curup? Salah satunya adalah kepercayaan yang kuat.

Abstract

Peran guru Bimbingan dan Konseling (BK) memainkan peran yang sangat penting dalam mengatasi ketidakdisiplinan siswa dalam belajar. Guru BK bertanggung jawab untuk memberikan bimbingan dan dukungan kepada siswa agar mereka dapat mengembangkan keterampilan belajar yang efektif. Dalam menghadapi masalah ketidak disiplinan siswa, guru BK harus menerapkan strategi dan taktik yang efektif untuk mencapai hasil yang diinginkan. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi peran guru BK dalam mengatasi ketidakdisiplinan siswa dalam belajar, serta strategi dan taktik efektif yang dapat mereka gunakan. Melalui literature, ditemukan bahwa peran guru BK mencakup mengidentifikasi masalah perilaku siswa, memberikan konseling individu atau kelompok, memberikan bimbingan akademik, dan berkolaborasi dengan guru dan orang tua. Strategi yang efektif yang dapat digunakan oleh guru BK antara lain mengimplementasikan program bimbingan dan konseling yang hilistik, menyediakan lingkungan yang mendukung pembelajaran, mengembangkan program pengembangan keterampilan sosial, dan menggunakan pendekatan yang menghargai siswa. Taktik yang efektif mencakup mendengarkan dengan empati, memberikan umpan balik yang konstruktif, menerapkan aturan dan konsekuensi yang jelas, membangun hubungan yang positif dengan siswa. Penelitian ini memberikan pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang guru BK dalam mengatasi ketidakdisiplinan siswa dalam belajar dan memberikan strategi dan taktik efektif yang dapat digunakan oleh guru BK. Diharapkan informasi ini dapat memberikan panduan praktis bagi guru BK untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan dan membantu siswa mengatasi masalah ketidakdisiplinan dalam belajar.

Abstract

Academic writing is one of the skills needed by students, especially postgraduate students. However, there were still many writing problems experienced by Islamic Education Management Postgraduate students of IAIN Curup batch 2020. Therefore, it was necessary to develop a learning model for Academic Writing course. This study aims to investigate the development of a learning model in the Academic Writing course. This study used 4D development research model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). The result of the study shows that the learning model in the Academic Writing course was carried out into these stages: prewriting stage, drafting stage, responding stage, revising stage, and evaluating stage. By carrying out the academic writing course, there were improvements in the writing skills of the postgraduate students. In the prewriting stage, it was observed that the students had already the skills needed to be possessed in the pre-writing stage. Then in the writing stage, the students had possesed skills in processing or analyzing data, and the students also had been able to revise their writings. This research produced a learning module for the Academic Writing course that has been refined from the modules used so far. The contribution of learning academic writing is in the academic writing course which teaches writing systematics, rules for writing, reference management, how to submit articles to nationally reputable journals, paraphrasing. The results of this course can be seen from student articles which have been published in many accredited journals Sinta 3 and Sinta 4.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to determine whether there is a direct or indirect effect of transformational leadership and self-efficacy on the performance of IAIN Curup lecturers. Based on pre-observation, the low frequency of lecturers' attendance which did not reach sixteen meetings, the difficulty to meet the Academic advisor for consultation, inappropriate expertise of lecturers, and some of the incompetent lecturers became the background leading the researchers to examine the performance of the IAIN Curup lecturers. In this study, there were three variables. A purposive sampling was used to involve all official lecturers as the participants, and they were 112 people.  This study used a quantitative approach as the research methodology by applying a survey method with path analysis technique. This study used questionnaire as the data collection technique. The researchers had analyzed the instrument before it was distributed to the participants. The instrument was tested by using validity and reliability tests. Three hypotheses were tested. The results showed that transformational leadership had a direct, positive effect on job performance; self-efficacy had a direct, positive effect on the lecturers’ job performance; and the transformational leadership had a direct effect on self-efficacy.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui nilai apa saja yang di terapkan dalam pembelajaran PAI di era Abad 21,penelitian ini muncul karena berbagai konflik dalam pembelajaran khususnya materi pembelajaran cendrung mengajarkan radikalisme serta tiada pengawasan dalam menggunakan teknologi sehingga menimbulkan transformasi nilai radikalisme pada peserta didik, penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kepustakaan, hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa moderasi beragama sangat penting untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran agama Islam di era modern, di mana ia menjadi landasan untuk membentuk siswa yang baik dan sejalan dengan perkembangan masyarakat yang semakin kompleks. Nilai-nilai moderasi antara lain komitmen kebangsaan, toleransi, anti radikalisme dan kekerasan, dan akomodatif dengan budaya lokal.

Abstract

Air Bang sub-district is one of the sub-districts in Rejang Lebong district, where the majority of people are Javanese. The Javanese tribe is a tribe that upholds existing traditions, one of which is the annual tradition of deceased people called the mendak tradition. This research aims to find out what values ​​of Islamic education are contained in the mendak tradition carried out by the Javanese community in the Air Bang sub-district. . Therefore, this needs to be studied to find out what values ​​of Islamic education are contained in the Mendak tradition through a series of Mendak traditional processions in the sub-district. The research approach used to study this matter is a qualitative approach and the type of research used is ethnography. Data in the form of words is taken from informants or respondents when they are interviewed, while additional data is in the form of documents. In the process of collecting data, researchers used three methods, namely the observation method, interview method and documentation method. Then the researcher used data analysis techniques through 3 three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and verification of conclusions. The results of research on the Values ​​of Islamic Education in the Mendak Tradition in Air Bang Village, Curup Tengah District, Rejang Lebong Regency show that first, in the procession of implementing the Mendak tradition in Air Bang Village there are several stages, namely: opening, host's remarks, yasin reading, reading. tahlil and prayer. Second, the values ​​of Islamic education in the Mendak tradition in the Air Bang sub-district, namely the moral values ​​towards Allah found in the recitation of yasin, tahlil and prayers, morals towards humans and fellow humans found in mutual help and mutual cooperation activities to prepare for the peak night of the Mendak tradition.

Abstract

This research aimed to develop a conceptual model examining the interplay among digital transformation, information system quality, the use of E-Kinerja application and State Civil Apparatus (SCA) work productivity. As the foregoing, this research deployed four variables which were drawn into a conceptual model by formulating six hypotheses. This research used the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling approach to frame the model and statistically testing it. 250 SCAs (both lecturers and staff at IAIN Curup) were involved as the respondents because they had adequate experiences regarding the use of E-Kinerja application. Data were collected using valid and reliable questionnaires. Using Smart PLS 4 program, the data were analyzed to evaluate the developed conceptual model. The analysis results demonstrated that digital transformation positively influenced SCA Work productivity (H1) with a path coefficient of 0.202 and T-statistics of 4.696. The impacts of digital transformation on the use of E-Kinerja application (H2) and on the quality of information systems (H3) were very strong, with path coefficients of 0.330 and 0.690 respectively, and very high T-statistics. The influence of information system quality on the use of E-Kinerja application (H4) was also significant with a coefficient of 0.637 and T-statistics of 18.300. Even though the direct influence of information system quality on SCA work productivity (H5) was more moderate, the significance value still showed that information system quality played a vital role in supporting efficient work productivity. Finally, a very prominent result was the influence of using the E-Kinerja application on SCA Work productivity (H6), with a coefficient of 0.589 and T-statistics of 6.572. The forgoing data demonstrated that the developed model was well-confirmed empirically. This research highlights that a well-designed application for work management, such as E-Kinerja, when supported by the implementation of digital transformation and information system quality, can enhance employees’ work productivity.  Future research is expected to examine moderating factors that can influence the effectiveness of digital transformation.

Abstract

This study aims to answer the questions (1) Does code switching occur in interactions between native Minangkabau speakers when communicating with other people in Curup?; (2) Does code mixing exist in their interactions?; and (3) What are the possible motives for code-switching and code-mixing in their interactions? Although this research is simple, it can be considered as a first step to study code-switching and code-mixing more comprehensively, especially among native Minangkabau speakers in Curup. Through this small study, it can be concluded that native speakers of the Minangkabau language use Indonesian in their interactions with other people. They switch the code to Minangkabau every time the person they are talking to starts using it. The second reason for code switching for them is because they tend to use Minangkabau language if they know that the other person is a speaker of that language. They tend to use Minangkabau language if that language is used by them since the first time they meet.

Abstract

Abstract This research originates from the presence of cultural and social values ​​in Putu Wijaya's drama script Bila Malam Lagi Malam, which is very closely related to Balinese culture. , social issues and social status in the drama script When the Night Adds to the Night. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. Data was taken from December 2022 to March 2023. The method used was reading drama scripts to be analyzed, analyzing cultural values, analyzing cultural values, and studying literary theory books on ethnography. The results of this study included (1) Cultural Values ​​of naming in the drama script Bila Malam Bertambo Malam. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of subject teacher consultation training (MGMP) and incentives on teacher performance in private MTS in Curup District. This was a descriptive quantitative study. The population engaged all private MTs teachers in Curup District totaling 95 people. This study deployed a purposive sampling technique, so that 50 people were obtained as the samples according to the criteria. The instrument used was a questionnaire and documentation. The analysis employed descriptive percentage analysis method and multiple linear regression. The results of the regression analysis at the 5% confidence level showed that MGMP training and incentives contributed 71.89% to the performance of teachers in private MTS in Curup District, and the partial contribution from MGMP training was 53.3% and incentive was 62.8%. This study concluded that there were significant effects of MGMP training and incentives on teacher performance in a high category. This showed that the overall performance of teachers in private MTS in Curup District was influenced by the level of MGMP training and the amount of incentives.
