Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the influence of supervision, work environment, and job satisfaction on the performance of ASN employees in the Equipment Division of the Department of Water Resources, Highways, and Construction of Medan City. The research employed an associative-quantitative approach with a population consisting of all ASN employees and a sample of 96 respondents selected through a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed through multiple linear regression, t-test, F-test, and determination test. The results showed that supervision, work environment, and job satisfaction had a positive and significant effect on employee performance both partially and simultaneously, with a contribution of 77.3% and a relationship strength of 0.879 (very strong). Supervision was the most influential variable compared to the others. These findings confirmed that improving the quality of supervision, non-physical work environment conditions, and job satisfaction played an important role in enhancing the performance of ASN employees.

Abstract

This study was conducted to examine the effects of coworkers, rewards, and the work environment on the level of job satisfaction among Civil Servants (ASN) at the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of North Sumatra Province. The research employed a quantitative associative approach using multiple linear regression analysis. The research population consisted of all civil servants totaling 173 employees, while the sample comprised 64 employees selected using the Slovin formula and determined through purposive sampling techniques. Research data were collected through questionnaire distribution in 2025 and were subsequently analyzed using SPSS version 24.0. The results indicated that coworkers, rewards, and the work environment had positive and significant effects on employee job satisfaction, both partially and simultaneously. The regression analysis produced the equation Y = 2.856 + 0.300X₁ + 0.307X₂ + 0.296X₃ + e. Partial testing showed that the coworker variable obtained a t-value of 2.659 with a significance level of 0.010, the reward variable achieved a t-value of 2.813 with a significance level of 0.007, and the work environment variable recorded a t-value of 2.757 with a significance level of 0.008. Furthermore, the simultaneous test resulted in an F-value of 93.218 with a significance level of 0.000. All hypotheses proposed in this study were proven and accepted, as the testing results were consistent with the initial research assumptions. The findings also revealed that the reward variable was the most dominant factor influencing employee job satisfaction compared to the other variables. Approximately 81.5% of the variation in job satisfaction could be explained by the combined influence of coworkers, rewards, and the work environment, indicating a very strong relationship. These results suggested that fairness in compensation, clarity of reward mechanisms, and recognition of individual contributions played a crucial role in shaping employees’ evaluations of their work.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze Competence, workload, and work fatigue on employee performance at PT Indokom Citra Persada. This study uses a quantitative method involving 78 employees as respondents. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires. The data obtained were analyzed using statistical formulas, namely by using the normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, and multiple linear regression analysis with the SPSS Version 23.0 program. The results of this study indicate that the t-value of 5.704 is greater than the t-table of 1.99 with a significance level of 0.000. Thus, H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected, which means that competence has a positive and partially significant influence on employee performance. The t-value of 2.976 is greater than the t-table of 1.99 with a significance level of 0.004. Thus, H2 is accepted and H0 is rejected, which means that workload has a positive and partially significant effect on performance. The t-value of -0.010 is smaller than the t-table of 1.99 with a significance level of 0.912. Thus, H3 is rejected and H0 is accepted, which means that fatigue has a negative and partially insignificant effect on performance. The F-value of 2.73. Because the F-value of 19.089 is greater than the F-table of 2.73, it can be concluded that the variables of competence, workload, and fatigue have a significant effect simultaneously on performance.
