Abstract

Pemberdayaan masyarakat tidak hanya semata-mata memenuhi kebutuhan dasar (basic need) masyarakat tetapi lebih sebagai upaya mencari alternative pertumbuhan ekonomi lokal. Dusun Tegal Boto Kidul RW 35 yang memiliki letak geografis sekitar perkotaan dan berpenduduk padat menimbulkan permasalahan banyaknya sampah anorganik maupun organik di lingkungan sekitar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: 1) untuk mengetahui gambaran pelatihan pengolahan limbah botol plastik menjadi produk kerajinan di Dusun Tegal Boto Kidul RW 35; 2) untuk mengetahui hasil pelatihan pengolahan limbah botol plastik menjadi produk kerajinan di Dusun Tegal Boto Kidul RW 35. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif melalui pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa 1) kegiatan pelatihan di awali dengan pembukaan, dimana pada bagian ini fasilitator yaitu mahasiswa menjelaskan tentang sampah dan jenisnya, memaparkan tujuan pelatihan berupa pemanfaatan limbah botol bekas, pemaparan bahan dan alat pembuatan kerajinan tangan. Ibu-ibu PKK juga praktik langsung bersama fasilitator. 2) Kegiatan pelatihan bernilai manfaat dilihat dari antusiasme ibu-ibu PKK pada kegiatan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah pelatihan pengolahan limbah plastik mampu memberdayakan ibu-ibu PKK di Desa Sumbersari

Abstract

The training program is an activity that serves to enhance the hard skills of participants, including those who are physically fit and those with disabilities. The improvement in hard skills among training participants is intended as preparation for entering the workforce. The hard skill enhancement provided to participants with disabilities in this training program focuses on servicing fuel-injected motorcycles, including managing tools, replacing drive chains, assembling and disassembling body covers, and maintaining electrical instruments (signals and lighting). Many participants with disabilities aspire to open their own workshops after participating in this fuel-injected motorcycle servicing training. This has led the researcher to investigate further the relationship between the fuel-injected motorcycle servicing training program and the improvement of hard skills among participants in the automotive department at the Jember Vocational Training Center, specifically in the two-wheeled automotive field. This study is correlational research with a quantitative approach, using a purposive area selection at the Jember Vocational Training Center. Data collection methods included questionnaires and documentation, with a total population sampling technique resulting in 15 respondents. Data were analyzed using rank-order correlation techniques. The results of this study, calculated using SPSS v25, show that the calculated correlation coefficient is greater than the table value, indicating a strong relationship between the fuel-injected motorcycle servicing training program and the improvement of hard skills in the two-wheeled automotive field. The conclusion of this study is that the alternative hypothesis is accepted, and the null hypothesis is rejected, as the correlation test between the two variables indicates a relationship. The researcher suggests that future studies should further explore relationships beyond the two-wheeled automotive field to enhance the connections that can be gained in two-wheeled automotive training.Keywords: Training program, hard skill improvement, people with disabilities.

Abstract

Heutagogy-based training management emphasizes learner autonomy, adaptability, and self-motivation"”making it especially relevant for adult learners in non-formal educational settings. This study explores how self-determined learning is implemented in a heutagogical framework at the Course and Training Institute (LKP) in Jember Regency. Guided by four core principles"”self-efficacy, self-determination, self-directed learning, and self-regulated learning"”heutagogy enables participants to engage more meaningfully with learning content, develop real-world competencies, and cultivate lifelong learning skills. Using a qualitative approach, this research employed observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies to gain a comprehensive understanding of the training experience. The study was conducted at LKP in Sumbersari District, selected through purposive sampling. Data analysis followed an interactive model consisting of data collection, reduction, display, and verification. Data validity was ensured through prolonged engagement, persistent observation, and triangulation of sources and methods. The findings show that participants demonstrate strong autonomy in determining their learning goals and strategies, competence through hands-on practice and feedback, and relatedness through collaborative peer interaction. These findings reinforce the importance of heutagogy-based training in promoting independent, motivated, and socially connected adult learners.

Abstract

Stunting is a growth failure condition experienced by children under two. Efforts to reduce stunting are carried out through two nutritional interventions: specific and sensitive. The Pentahelix approach is worth studying to foster collaboration and alliance in stunting prevention education. This research aims to develop a Pentahelix educational formulation to strengthen specific and sensitive intervention services for the stunting reduction program in the Jember Regency. The research method used is a mixed methods research type. The mixed methods approach or mixed method approach is a research approach that involves the integration or unification of qualitative and quantitative data research. This research is located in the Jember Regency, with respondents including parents, the community, stunting program managers, and stakeholders. The Pentahelix formulation development research results began with planning the learning program. The first step is to conduct a specific and sensitive service assessment. The assessment results are used to develop an education service menu based on the local context and community needs. The final component is the alliance among the Pentahelix elements. Evidence-based policy collaboration is produced through the cooperation of the government and academics, while the media and community deliver direct education using materials prepared by academics. Business actors help ensure sustainable access by providing infrastructure or supporting products. Academics and the government monitor and evaluate the program's effectiveness for future policy improvements. The results of the Pentahelix-based learning program begin with a community assessment, which is an evaluation process to understand the community's needs and the program's effectiveness.

Abstract

Economic growth in rural areas relies on managing natural and economic resources, emphasizing local wisdom. Village-owned Enterprises (BUMDes) is crucial in mobilizing local potential and improving infrastructure to support micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). In Puger Kulon Village, known for its fisheries and unique MSME products like shrimp paste and handicrafts, the lack of digital marketing limits economic growth. This community service aims to empower local MSMEs through E-CoDigimark, a digital platform that enchances product promotion and accessibility. Activities included socialization, training in website management, and digital marketing workshops. MSME actors learned to utilize social media, marketplaces, and E-CoDigimark to market their products effectively. Mentoring sessions prepared local admins to manage the platform sustainably. As a result, local businesses gained better visibility, and MSMEs improved their skills in creating engaging content, managing online stores, and connecting with broader markets. The program significantly impacted local economic empowerment, improving product competitiveness and digital marketing capabilities. With E-CoDigimark, Puger Kulon’s products now reach national and global markets, fostering sustainable economic development and establishing the village as a center of tourism and local enterprise.

Abstract

Pemahaman yang benar tentang hakikat dan landasan penyelenggaraan Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini hendaknya dimiliki oleh setiap orang yang secara langsung maupun tidak langsung akan berhubungan dengan anak usia dini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman yang benar, para pihak akan dapat memberikan layanan yang seoptimal mungkin bagi anak usia dini. Rumusan masalahnya yaitu: (1) apakah tujuan pendidikan bagi anak usia dini; (2) apakah jenis dan persyaratan penyelenggaraan lembaga pendidikan untuk anak usia dini?; (3) bagaimana supervisi pendidikan pada lembaga PAUD?; (4) bagaimana pemahaman mahasiswa mengenai materi akuntabilitas pengelolaan pendidikan anak usia dini?. Kajian teori diantaranya mencakup konsep Akuntabilitas Pendidikan, Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini, Manajemen Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deksriptif melalui pendekatan kualitatif. Kesimpulan penelitian ini yaitu mahasiswa mampu memahami teori konsep dan aplikasi akuntabilitas lembaga pendidikan anak usia dini.Kata kunci : Akuntabilitas Pendidikan, Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini, Manajemen Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini.

Abstract

Pelatihan Tutor pada PKBM Homeschooling HSPG Jember dalam Pemanfaatan Mini Modul Board Game Berbasis Literasi Sains bertujuan untuk mengatasi masalah literasi sains yang rendah di kalangan peserta didik program kesetaraan serta keterbatasan tutor dalam menerapkan metode pembelajaran inovatif. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi sosialisasi untuk meningkatkan pemahaman tutor tentang inovasi bahan ajar, pelatihan intensif tentang penggunaan mini modul. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa tutor mendapatkan pengalaman langsung dalam menerapkan strategi yang telah dipelajari melalui simulasi dan praktik. Board Game yang dikembangkan adalah "EcoSaver: The Food Waste Adventure" dan "Eco-Wonders: Menjelajahi Lingkungan Ciptaan Allah", yang bertujuan untuk mengenalkan konsep lingkungan sebagai ciptaan Allah SWT dan mendorong pemahaman dasar tentang pentingnya merawat alam. Pelatihan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan keterampilan tutor dalam mengintegrasikan media interaktif untuk pembelajaran yang lebih efektif dan menyenangkan.
