Abstract

This research focuses on the marketing strategy, which is one of the principle activities done by companies in their effort to secure and enhance the longevity of their business. It also creates and enhances the demands made by consumers. Therefore, increasing sell revenue and making more profits from it. In their effort to get maximum profits, the companies must be able to run the center point of marketing mix. The best way to do it is by applying the SWOT analysis – which stands for strength, weakness, opportunities, and threats – to each of the variable in the marketing mix. The research uses descriptive qualitative method. This method is applied to an educational institution called “prima mandiri utama”. There are three steps in acquiring the data, namely: observation, interview, and documentation. Next, the activities within the institution is discussed and analyzed. The validity of the data is strengthened by the further exploration of other sources which are taken from numerous important individuals, namely: the president director, HR manager, the academic manager marketing coordinators and staffs, also the students and parents. The research shows that the marketing mix in “Prima Mandiri Utama” is still unbalance; this can be seen from the SWOT analysis of the seven variables which do not get an even attention. Some variables get neglected whereas some other is being overly done. Nonetheless, the marketing mix strategy in “Prima Mandiri Utama” has been very well done; this can be seen from mobile implementation of it, the institution does not imitate the rival companies, they are also managed to comprehend the situation around the institution although the future planning is not significant yet.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the influence of brand image (brand image) on purchasing decisions on Eiger Palangka Raya products. In conducting this research, the quantitative method is used, while the data collection is done by analyzing the data and submitting a questionnaire to buyers or customers at the Eiger Palangka Raya store. The population in this study were consumers or buyers at the Eiger Palangka Raya store and the sample was determined using the Slovin technique formula with 99 samples. Validity test is done through the calculation of IBM SPSS Statistics 23 while the test for relativity uses the Cronbach's alpha formula. The classical assumption test uses (1) validity test (2) reliability test and (3) normality test. Data analysis techniques using (1) Simple Linear Regression Analysis (2) Hypothesis testing: F test and T test (3) Determination Coefficient Test (R Square). From the calculation results of the simple linear regression coefficient between X and Y, namely Y = 25,824 + 0.432X it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between Brand Image / Brand Image on Purchasing Decisions. Hypothesis testing results F Test shows F arithmetic (4,478)> F table (3.09) with a significance level of 0,000 <0.05 and Hypothesis Testing T Test shows that t arithmetic (3,116)> t table (1,988) with a significance level of 0,000 < 0.05. Then it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and the hypothesis accepted is H1 which means that the Brand Image variable has a significant influence on the purchase decision variable. The result of the coefficient testing determines the value of R Square of 0.378 (37.8%). This means that 37.8% of Purchasing Decisions are influenced by Brand Image, and the remaining 62.2% is influenced by other factors.

Abstract

Education is a conscious and planned effort to create a learning atmosphere and learning process for students actively to develop their potential so that they have religious spiritual strength, self-control, personality, intelligence, noble character, and skills needed by themselves and society. Higher education is a problem that occurs in Indonesia related to efforts to educate the nation's life and shape Indonesian human resources as a whole. As stated in Article 31 paragraph (1) of the 1945 Constitution, every citizen has the right to education. (2) Every citizen is obliged to attend basic education and the government is obliged to pay for it. However, due to the lack of information about education, many people pay less attention to their children's education. This is also the reason why teenagers in Lebo Village, Pematang Karau District, East Barito Regency, on average, only finish high school. So that the purpose of the presence of the research team is to provide a qualitative analysis of the preparation for entering college in the Lebo Village community so that it can become an important reference for changing people's mindsets about the importance of education. Because as it is known that people who receive education at the tertiary level are one of the important things in order to be able to provide ideas and ideas for the progress of the village. The results of the study show that in Lebo Village there are only elementary schools, for middle and high schools there are still no. The village is located in a location that is difficult to signal, so it is difficult for the community to access information. On average, after graduating from high school, parents are more likely to direct their children to work than to continue their education to college. There has been no visit or socialization from the government regarding the preparations that must be made to continue education to the tertiary level.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of perceptions about education and student learning motivation on interest in continuing to college among students at SMAN 2 Palangka Raya. The research method used in this research is quantitative research method using descriptive approach. The source of data in this study were students of class XII IPS 1, 2, and 3 with a sample of 30 students. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the variable perception of education has a significant effect on the Interest in Continuing to College with the results obtained < 0.05 namely 0.000 < 0.05, and the value of t count> t table, namely 7.477 > 2.052, while the Learning Motivation variable has a significant effect on the Interest in Continuing to College, namely with the results obtained < 0.05, namely 0.008 < 0.05, and the value of t count> t table, namely 2.883> 2.052. Based on the value of the Coefficient of Determination, which is 0.802, meaning that the results above have an influence of variables XI and X2 on variable Y of 80.2%, and the remaining 19.8% is influenced by other factors outside the research that the researchers conducted

Abstract

The problem that is often found in learning economics is that teachers still use little learning media, especially technology-based learning media. The purpose of this research is to produce learning media based on edunomic adventure interactive games that are categorized as feasible, easy and effective for use in economic learning activities. This study uses development research or Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. The instrument used by researchers in this study is an expert validation sheet which will be validated by material experts and media experts to determine the level of quality and feasibility of edunomic adventure interactive game-based learning media that will be tested. Furthermore, giving questionnaires to students to determine the effectiveness of using learning media based on edunomic adventure interactive games. Based on the results of validation conducted by media experts on learning media based on interactive games edunomic adventure with a score of 86% in the category very valid to be used as a learning medium in economic lessons. Furthermore, the assessment of material experts on the material presented in the edunomic adventure interactive game-based learning media scored 85% in the category very valid for use as an economic learning media. The results of the assessment conducted by students on learning media based on interactive games edunomic adventure with a score of 88%, included in the category very feasible to use in economic learning

Abstract

Basically, SWOT analysis is a method used by companies to formulate business strategies to outperform competitors in business competition. By knowing the internal strengths and weaknesses of the company and the strengths and weaknesses of competitors, so that the company can win its competition. This research has the aim of analyzing its SWOT and the marketing strategy applied by Cokelat Klasik. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, documentation, and literature study. The data analysis technique used is descriptive. The results showed that Cokelat Klasik business partners have used SWOT analysis, can use the following alternative strategies: SO: continue to innovate and emphasize the concept of modern youth, maintain the quality of drinks, and provide good and maximum service to consumers. ST: Maintaining quality and customer satisfaction, delivery services, buying a generator. WO strategy: competitors as motivation, giving consumers the option to choose products, using promotional media, adding toppings to each drink, reporting consumer complaints about products to the franchisor. WT strategy: Setting competitive prices but not harming partners, always making innovations to differentiate themselves from their competitors. Meanwhile, Cokelat Klasik has applied SWOT analysis into a business strategy in developing its business and gaining an advantage in its business competition

Abstract

UMKM berperan vital dalam perekonomian Indonesia, termasuk di Kota Palangka Raya, Kalimantan Tengah, melalui sektor industri kerajinan, khususnya aksesoris khas Dayak. Artikel ini menganalisis kontribusi UMKM kerajinan dalam mendorong pembangunan ekonomi berkelanjutan, dengan menggunakan studi kasus pada Toko Souvenir Fauzi yang menjual produk kerajinan tradisional seperti tas rotan, gelang batu, miniatur getah nyatu, manik-manik, dan aksesoris lainnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi peran UMKM dalam menciptakan model bisnis yang ramah lingkungan dan sosial, sesuai dengan teori triple bottom line yang mengintegrasikan aspek ekonomi, lingkungan, dan sosial dalam pembangunan berkelanjutan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa UMKM ini memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap perekonomian lokal, mempromosikan pelestarian budaya, dan mendukung keberlanjutan sumber daya alam melalui pemanfaatan bahan baku alami. Namun, tantangan seperti keterbatasan akses pasar, teknologi, dan pengelolaan sumber daya alam yang berkelanjutan masih dihadapi. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini merekomendasikan peningkatan kapasitas teknologi dan pengelolaan sumber daya alam untuk memastikan keberlanjutan jangka panjang UMKM kerajinan ini. Dengan demikian, UMKM kerajinan aksesoris khas Dayak berpotensi sebagai agen perubahan yang mendorong pembangunan ekonomi yang inklusif dan berkelanjutan di Palangka Raya

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard) as a digital payment method at Joglo Lumintu Restaurant, Palangka Raya City, and examine its impact on business development strategies and operational efficiency. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and questionnaires to the owner, employees, and customers of the restaurant. The results showed that the use of QRIS has provided convenience and security in the transaction process, increased operational efficiency through reduced transaction time, and facilitated more transparent financial records. However, the implementation of QRIS is still hampered by the preference for cash payments among older customers, who are less familiar with digital technology. In addition, QRIS transaction recording is still done manually, indicating the need for a more comprehensive digital management system integration. QRIS implementation is proven to increase customer satisfaction, especially among the younger generation, and has the potential to support business competitiveness. This research highlights the importance of digital education to customers and improving restaurant operations as strategies for developing a more efficient and modern culinary business.

Abstract

Sustainable natural resource management is an important part of community economic development, especially in areas that depend on forest products. This study examines the public economic aspects of rattan management by the Social Forestry Business Group (KUPS) in Gohong Village, Central Kalimantan, as a community empowerment effort. The purpose of this study is to understand how the rattan management model implemented is able to improve community welfare while maintaining environmental sustainability through policies taken as one of the indicators of public economy. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data was obtained through interviews with KUPS members and the Village Forest Management Agency (LPHD), direct observation of the rattan handicraft production process, and analysis of relevant policy documents. The results of the study show that rattan management by KUPS has had a very good impact on the local economy by creating business opportunities for the community, especially for women involved in the rattan handicraft industry. The shift in livelihoods from farming to rattan craftsmanship occurred as a result of the government's ban on forest burning. The rattan products produced are not only marketed at the local level but also penetrate the national market. In addition, the sustainability of this business is strengthened by the support of international grants and forest management policies that prevent over-exploitation. This study confirms that a community-based resource management model can be an effective strategy in community economic empowerment while maintaining ecological balance
