Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of social media X on adolescent attitudes and behavior using the K-means clustering method. Social media has an important role in everyday life, especially among teenagers, who are vulnerable to external influences in shaping their attitudes and behavior. In this study, data was collected through a survey covering aspects such as frequency of use, type of content consumed, and social interactions on the platform. The K-means clustering method is used to group teenagers based on their patterns of social media use and the characteristics of their attitudes and behavior. The results of the analysis show that there are several clusters that indicate a significant relationship between the intensity of use of social media X and changes in teenagers' attitudes and behavior. These findings provide valuable insights for parents, educators, and policy makers in understanding the impact of social media on adolescent development and formulating strategies to mitigate its negative effects.

Abstract

There has been a decline in sales at Maestro Jakarta Cafe & Space due to a lot of competition and not optimal management of transaction data so that innovation is needed to increase sales. This study aims to compare the performance and results of the Apriori and FP-Growth algorithms in analyzing sales transaction data to determine the optimal sales strategy. This research uses the Apriori and FP-Growth methods to analyze sales transaction data by applying the Cross-Industry Standard Process for Data Mining (CRISP-DM). The data used is product sales transaction data from November 2023 to April 2024. The results of performance comparisons in processing time speed and memory usage that have been carried out show that in processing time speed the FP-Growth algorithm is slightly faster than the Apriori algorithm while in the use of memory capacity the Apriori algorithm requires a larger memory capacity than the memory capacity used by the FP-Growth algorithm. This shows that the performance of the FP-Growth algorithm is better than the Apriori algorithm. The analysis results of the Apriori and FP-Growth algorithms on sales transaction data using a minimum support value of 1% and a minimum confidence value of 100% resulted in 22 association rules. Both algorithms produce identical rules, with the only difference being the occurrence index. The results of this analysis can be used by Maestro Jakarta Cafe & Space in determining sales strategies.

Abstract

Sign language is the primary means of communication for deaf individuals, one of the alternative languages used by people with disabilities, and it has evolved from the deaf community. Sign language has many variations, making it something unfamiliar and difficult to interpret for some hearing or uninitiated people. This research aims to develop a real-time sign language motion and facial expression detection system using the Random Forest method. The main challenge in this detection is the complexity and variation of the movements and facial expressions. In this study, MediaPipe is used to extract features from video input, which are then analyzed using the Random Forest algorithm for classification. In this research, the model's evaluation results use a confusion matrix with testing scenarios based on the division of training and testing data. From the model evaluation results, an accuracy of 99% was achieved. This research is expected to help deaf individuals communicate with hearing people, thereby reducing social gaps.

Abstract

Gedung Dinas Perhubungan Kabupaten Ciamis merupakan bangunan perkantoran yang digunakan untuk melayani kebutuhan masyarakat umum. Sebagai kantor layanan pemerintahan, gedung ini harus memenuhi standar penerangan sesuai SNI 6197:2011, yang menetapkan intensitas pencahayaan minimum berdasarkan fungsi ruangan untuk mendukung kenyamanan visual dan produktivitas kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang pencahayaan buatan yang sesuai dengan standar tersebut menggunakan aplikasi DIALux evo 8.1. Metode yang digunakan meliputi pengukuran intensitas pencahayaan di setiap ruangan dengan luxmeter, perhitungan rata-rata intensitas pencahayaan, dan perbandingan hasilnya dengan standar SNI. Hasil pengukuran menunjukkan bahwa intensitas pencahayaan di semua ruangan gedung belum memenuhi standar minimum SNI 6197:2011. Perbaikan dilakukan melalui simulasi penggantian lampu menggunakan aplikasi DIALux evo 8.1. Simulasi ini menghasilkan intensitas pencahayaan yang sesuai dengan standar minimum. Implikasi dari penelitian ini mencakup peningkatan kenyamanan visual, produktivitas kerja, dan kepatuhan terhadap regulasi penerangan di gedung perkantoran.

Abstract

In today's technological era, the internet has played an important role in all aspects of human life. This is also what drives various mobile applications to develop very rapidly. Kredivo is an instant credit solution that provides convenience to buy now pay later in a 1-month tenor or 3-month installment tenor with 0% interest. In addition, Kredivo is not only used for shopping purposes, but borrowers can also make withdrawals in the form of cash. However, not all users are satisfied with the service of the application. and the many comments submitted through the Kredivo application review feature on the Google Play Store. Therefore, in this study, researchers tried to conduct a sentiment analysis of Kredivo application users using the K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm. The purpose of this study was to determine the accuracy value produced by the K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm. From testing 1880 data using the cross-validation model, it was found that reviews containing positive sentiment were 62.55% and containing negative sentiment were 37.45%. Evaluation of the classification results using the Confusion Matrix test obtained an accuracy value of 79.36%, with a recall value of 83.08%, precision of 72.15%, and recall (Specificity) of 73.15%, so it can be concluded that the K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm can classify sentiments well using review data on Kredivo application users

Abstract

The rapid growth of the culinary business has made business competition in this field increasingly tight, so a strategy is needed to increase food and beverage sales patterns. Bonjur Cafe Resto serves many food and beverage menus, but business actors need to try to produce product innovations in order to provide satisfactory service to customers. In this condition, a data processing technique is needed to determine customer segmentation and menu recommendations at Bonjur Cafe Resto. The analysis method used is RFM Analysis by analyzing customer behavior, analyzing purchase transaction data consisting of Recency Frequency Monetary (RFM) attributes and data mining techniques with the Apriori algorithm, where this algorithm is used to determine the most frequently appearing data set (frequent itemset). The results of this study are grouped into five categories of customers based on their purchasing behavior and association rules are formed with predetermined parameters, support 28% and confidence 70%. This can later be a recommendation for a menu combination from the data that has been collected and applied using the apriori algorithm so that it is expected to be used for service evaluation and be able to increase customer satisfaction so that Bonjur Cafe Resto can develop better

Abstract

This article aims to identify the importance of communication management as a multidimensional approach encompassing managerial, operational, reflective, and strategic functions within organizations to ensure effective coordination, resolve communication crises, and achieve organizational goals. Focusing on the context of pluralism in Indonesia, the article explores the role of communication in maintaining social harmony through tolerance of diversity while reducing identity- and distribution-based conflicts. The novelty of this study lies in integrating communication management concepts with strategies to enhance multicultural attitudes through education, particularly in addressing globalization challenges that foster individualism and weaken social cohesion. Key findings indicate that effective communication management is crucial in promoting positive relationships within organizations and ensuring timely and accurate information delivery. This management approach boosts efficiency and productivity and fosters tolerance, conflict resolution, and social inclusion. Tolerance of diversity, including respect for differences in race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, and other backgrounds, plays a vital role in creating an inclusive culture and peaceful environment. Furthermore, maintaining the unity of the ummah is essential for preventing conflicts and fostering harmony through understanding, cooperation, and respect for differences. These findings highlight the need for integrating communication management, tolerance promotion, and efforts to sustain unity to build a more stable and prosperous society. Future research is recommended to explore the application of digital technologies in supporting communication management, develop culturally based tolerance strategies, and evaluate the impact of multicultural education on social harmony.

Abstract

The role of the school head as an internal educational institution leader is the impetus for this thesis, as is the importance of effective leadership within the school's environment for fostering a positive school climate, boosting teacher morale and productivity, and building a strong foundation for student achievement. Quality human beings are in high demand due to the increasing level of competition in today's world, and education is the key to achieving this goal. An improved standard of living is directly proportional to a high quality educational system. For the purpose of research. Here are five things to keep in mind: 1) how school leadership affects teacher performance, 2) how academic supervision affects teacher performance, 3) how teacher performance affects education quality, 4) how school leadership affects education quality, and 5) how academic supervision affects classroom quality. Abstract

This study investigates the determinants of financial performance in Indonesian Microfinance Institutions (MFIs), analyzing financial and social factors alongside the impacts of COVID-19. Using panel data from 242 OJK-regulated MFIs from 2018 to 2023 (1,452 observations), fixed-effects regression reveals that the Debt-to-Equity Ratio (DER), Women’s Empowerment Index (WEI), and Microcredit Proportion (PMC) negatively affect Return on Assets (ROA), while Firm Size (SIZE) and Loan-to-Deposit Ratio (LDR) show positive effects. Service Accessibility (ACCES) proves to be insignificant. The findings highlight a critical trade-off: while MFIs’ social missions such as women’s empowerment and microcredit expansion depress profitability, operational scale and liquidity management enhance performance. The pandemic exacerbated these tensions, particularly in under-supported empowerment programs. This study contributes to the microfinance literature by empirically validating capital structure and social performance theories in Indonesia’s unique context. Practical implications suggest optimizing capital structures to reduce leverage risks, balancing microcredit portfolios with larger loans, and integrating digital tools to improve efficiency. For policymakers, these insights underscore the need for regulations harmonizing financial sustainability with inclusive development goals. By bridging empirical gaps, this research offers a framework for MFIs navigating post-pandemic recovery while maintaining their dual social–financial mission.

Abstract

Employee performance is a key indicator of the effectiveness of public organizations. At the Banten Provincial DPRD Secretariat, low administrative performance, weak discipline, and ineffective organizational coordination are still found, necessitating research into the factors influencing employee performance. This study aims to analyse the influence of leadership style and organizational structure on employee work performance, as well as the role of leadership coordination as a mediator in this relationship. The method used was quantitative with an explanatory design. The study population included all employees of the Banten Provincial DPRD Secretariat, with a sample of 271 people determined using the Slovin method. Data were collected using a questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability, then analysed using Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM). The results of the study indicate that leadership style and organizational structure have a significant positive influence on work performance, and both contribute significantly to leadership coordination. Leadership coordination has been shown to mediate the relationship between leadership style and organizational structure on employee work performance. In conclusion, the effectiveness of leadership and organizational structure in improving work performance is highly dependent on established coordination. These findings enrich the literature on performance management and motivation and can serve as a basis for developing personnel policies at the Banten Provincial DPRD Secretariat.
