Abstract

This study aims to determine the practice of buying and selling telephone vouchers at Al Asyiqie Dormitory, Ngampel Kediri, and to analyze it from the perspective of Islamic economics. Telephone vouchers are provided as a means of communication for students who do not return home for one full year so that they can stay in touch with their parents and families. This research uses a qualitative approach with field research methods. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that the sale and purchase of telephone vouchers are carried out by the dormitory security administrators with voucher denominations of IDR 6,000, IDR 12,000, IDR 18,000, IDR 25,000, IDR 26.000 and IDR 65,000, at a price of IDR 1,000 per minute. The contract is carried out verbally, and transactions take place based on the willingness of both parties. This practice is not considered a monopoly because it aims to meet the students' needs rather than to seek excessive profit. From the perspective of Islamic economics, this practice has fulfilled the pillars and conditions of sale and purchase and does not contain elements of gharar or fraud. However, the aspect of price fairness still needs attention because some students consider the price quite expensive. Therefore, an evaluation of price fairness is needed so that the principle of justice in Islamic economics can be optimally realized.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the crucial role of feasibility analysis as a strategic risk mitigation instrument in maintaining business continuity amid escalating global uncertainty. The research method employed is library research by synthesizing five selected scholarly articles published between 2020 and 2025. Literature selection was based on methodological diversity, ranging from technical tools such as House of Risk (HoR) to qualitative phenomenological approaches. The findings indicate that risk management has transformed from a mere compliance function into the heart of organizational sustainability strategy. The integration of technical precision (quantitative approach) and the subjective reality of business actors (qualitative approach) is proven to create a more holistic risk identification framework to avoid Black Swan Events. Resulting mitigation strategies include SOP reinforcement, product diversification, hedging strategies, and supply chain collaboration supported by information technology. Feasibility analysis serves as a preventive measure that strengthens the long-term resilience and competitiveness of companies in international markets.

Abstract

The growing demand for industry-ready human resources in Indonesia’s coffee sector requires vocational students to possess competencies in sensory evaluation and operational coffee skills. This community engagement program aimed to enhance vocational capacity through hedonic–organoleptic assessment and basic barista training among 33 students of the Agricultural Product Quality Control Department at SMKN 1 Tulungagung. The program employed an experiential learning approach integrating training, continuous education, and the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) cupping protocol. Data were collected using pre-test and post-test assessments, practical observations, and participant feedback. The results demonstrated significant improvements in students’ understanding of sensory attributes, cupping procedures, and coffee operational skills, with increased confidence and competency in evaluating Robusta and Arabica coffee. The program also strengthened participants’ awareness of Indonesia’s coffee industry and vocational readiness. These findings suggest that industry-oriented experiential training effectively supports operational excellence and capacity building in vocational coffee education.
