Abstract

Self-concept is an individual's views and feelings about himself that determine the determinants in communicatingwith others. Children who have a negative self-concept will view themselves and their environment in a low lightand aggressiveness among students will have the most negative impact. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between bullying behavior and self- concept in children at SDIT Al-Uswah Tuban. The design of this study used analytic correlation with a cross-sectional approach which was analyzed using random sampling technique on 52 respondents. The data was taken using a questionnaire on bullying behavior and self-concept, thenanalyzed using the Spearman rank test. The results showed that 71.2% had a high self-concept, 69.2% had mild bullying behavior. Statistical test results obtained p = 0.001 (p <0.05) and r = 0,436, which means that there is a significant relationship between bullying behavior and self-concept in children with sufficient relationship strength.Students who have a high self- concept have low bullying behavior. Therefore, parents are expected to monitor andgive advice to their children to be kind to others. Therefore, the school teaches children many things so that this can become a child's weapon in the future through religious knowledge, because to become a better person.

Abstract

Stimulation or encouragement is really needed to maximize all the potential of preschooler-children. When parents try to provide optimal stimulation, it is important for parents to know the time and the methods to provide stimulation to children. The aim of this activity is to increase the knowledge and abilities of parents and teachers in stimulating pre-school age children, especially cognitive, social emotional and language aspects in accordance with the MBKM program in Main Performance Indicator (IKU) 3, namely lecturers doing activities outside campus and Main Performance Indicator (IKU) 2, namely Students Gain Experience outside campus. The activity is provides socialization about stimulating the growth and development of pre-school children, training on how to stimulate with flashcards, peer group mentoring and evaluation, as well as program sustainability. Based on the results of the checklist, most parents were able to demonstrate how to provide stimulation to their children, followed by an increase in the average knowledge value, namely 4.67. Parents can provide cognitive, emotional and language stimulation to maximize their child's potential and growth and development.

Abstract

Mental-emotional development is an important aspect of pre-school children's growth and development. This developmental process can affect their ability to interact with their social environment and face life's challenges. Many factors can influence this emotional development, two of which are the child's character and their birth order. The aim of the study was to analyse the relationship between children's character and birth order with pre-school children's mental emotional development. The research design used was correlation with a crosssectional approach. The population was 49 children and using total sampling technique. The data of this study were taken using questionnaires and observation sheets. The results showed that most children (69.4%) had a sanguinis character and almost all (85.7%) had a middle child birth order and almost all (91.8%) had normal emotional development. Based on the results of the Coeffient of Contingency test, p=0.004 and the value (c)=0.462 and the Spearman Rho test obtained the results of p=0.000 and the value of rs=0.559. This means that there is a relationship between child character and birth order with mental emotional development in preschool children. The results of this study are expected as a reference for parents in shaping the character of children who are able to interact well with others and face the challenges of life in the future and schools can use media and a fun learning system to improve children's emotional development.

Abstract

Toilet Training merupakan perkembangan untuk membentuk kemandirian anak tidak hanya dari kesiapan anak tetapi pola asuh orang tua dalam membimbing dan meluangkan waktu dalam proses toilet training. Metode: menggunakan korelasi analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional yang dilakukan kepada 65 orang tua menggunakan teknik Random sampling pada bulan Februari 2024 dengan kuesioner tertutup, dianalisis menggunakan uji koefisien kontingensi. Hasil menunjukkan hampir sebagian besar orang tua (53,8%) yang memiliki peran kurang baik 41,5% anaknya mengalami keterlambatan toilet training sebagian besar anak (66,2%) kurang siap 49,3% anak terlambat toilet training sedangakn dari uji statistic diperoleh nilai r =0,300 p=0,011(p<0,05) artinya ada hubungan peran orang tua dengan keberhasilan toilet training dan diperoleh nilai r =0,312 p=0,008 (p<0,05) artinya ada hubungan kesiapan anak dengan keberhasilan toilet training. Peran orang tua perlu ditingkatkan dalam mengajarkan toilet training pada anak dengan mengenali berbagai kesiapan anak dalam toilet training seperti kesiapan fisik, kesiapan mental, kesiapan psikologis, dan kesiapan parental.

Abstract

The nursing code of ethics played a crucial role in ensuring that pediatric nursing care adhered to professional, ethical, and legal standards. However, its implementation faced various challenges. This study analyzed the application of the code of ethics in pediatric nursing care based on Law No. 17 of 2023 and the factors influencing its implementation. This research employed a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with nurses in the pediatric care unit at RSU Muhammadiyah Babat Lamongan, as well as an analysis of the nursing code of ethics and legal regulations. The findings reveal that nurses' understanding of the code of ethics varies, influenced by work experience and training. Five main themes emerged: the relationship between nurses and clients, nursing practice, society, colleagues, and the profession. The alignment of the code of ethics with Law No. 17 of 2023 is evident in several articles, including Articles 44-49, 23(2), 177(1), and 291(1). The primary challenges included ethical conflicts in decision-making, communication with patients' families, and limited resources. Continuous training and clearer hospital policies were necessary to enhance compliance with the code of ethics.

Abstract

Improving Children's Short-Term Memory through Brain Gym with Mnemonic Approach Chunking Technique. This study aims to determine the effect of brain gym with a mnemonic method approach to chunking techniques on short-term memory in 3rd and 4th grade students. The study used a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest approach. The research subjects were 68 respondents selected using simple random sampling. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire which was analyzed using the Wilcoxon test. The results of the analysis showed an increase in the average short-term memory score from 7.01 to 10.14 after the intervention. The Wilcoxon test results showed a p value = 0.000 (p < 0.05), which means there is a significant difference between memory before and after the intervention. Brain gym with chunking technique mnemonic method approach combines a series of simple stimulation movements and a method of remembering numbers that are broken down into smaller chunks to facilitate memory. This method can be applied as one of the strategies in improving student memory, both in the educational environment and in nursing practice in the process of child growth and development and the process of educating elementary school children in implementing daily learning activities.

Abstract

Pada usia anak sekolah dasar merupakan masa pertumbuhan dan perkembangan yang sangat baik bagi anak, karena mereka mempunyai banyak aktivitas yang seringkali berhubungan langsung dengan lingkungan yang kotor sehingga menyebabkan anak–anak rentan terserang penyakit. Namun, personal hygiene sering diabaikan oleh anak anak karena mereka belum memahami arti pentingnya personal hygiene dan dampaknya bagi kesehatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Promosi Kesehatan Menggunakan Media Video terhadap Kemampuan Personal Hygiene pada Murid Usia Sekolah Dasar di SD Muhammadiyah Sugio Kabupaten Lamongan. Desain penelitian menggunakan Pre-Eksperimental dengan pendekatan one group pre-post test design. Populasi sebanyak 60 responden, menggunakan teknik Simple Random Sampling  didapatkan sebanyak 52 responden. Data penelitian ini diambil menggunakan Lembar Observasi tingkat Kemampuan Murid tentang Personal Hygiene . Setelah ditabulasi data yang dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test dengan tingkat kemaknaan p= <0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa sebagian besar 44 responden (84,62%) memiliki tingkat kemampuan personal hygiene yang buruk sebelum diberikan promosi kesehatan menggunakan media video. Setelah diberikan menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar 39 responden (75,00%) memiliki tingkat kemampuan personal hygiene yang sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil diatas dengan nilai signifikasi p sign = 0,000. Artinya ada pengaruh  pengaruh  yang signifikan pada Pengaruh Promosi Kesehatan Menggunakan Media Video terhadap Kemampuan Personal Hygiene pada Murid Usia Sekolah Dasar di SD Muhammadiyah Sugio Kabupaten Lamongan. Metode promosi kesehatan menggunakan media video dapat meningkatkan kemampuan seseorang karena didalamnya terdapat audio visual dan animasi sehingga membuat seseorang tertarik dan tidak merasa bosan

Children with temper tantrums will show reactions that are out of the child's control such as screaming, rolling and screaming so that the impact of the child's intellectual and social development is not balanced and the child uses the tantrum as a weapon so that his desires are fulfilled. The lack of knowledge of mothers in dealing with temper tantrums has a bad impact on children, so knowledge about handling temper tantrums is needed. Education using audiovisual is effective in increasing knowledge because it is interesting, not boring, and easy to carry around. The purpose of the study was to determine the influence of audiovisual education on maternal behavior in the handling of preschool-age temper tantrums. The design of this study uses a Pre-Experimental One Group Pretest-Posttest conducted on 34 mothers taken using the Total Sampling technique in May 2023. The intervention provided was in the form of playing educational videos on handling temper tantrums. The research data was taken with a temper tantrum knowledge questionnaire, then analyzed using the Paired T-test. The results showed that there was a significant influence on the knowledge of mothers about the treatment of temper tantrums after being given the audio-visual education method (p=0.000). Audio-visual education can increase a person's knowledge because the material conveyed can be received through the senses of sight and hearing. It is recommended that the public can enrich information about the treatment of temper tantrums, and for researchers to further research other aspects or use different methods.

Abstract

Garbage will cause health problems if not managed properly. The increase in waste along with the rate of population growth and ignorance of sorting waste according to its type is a problem that must be resolved. As is the case with students at SDN Sendangrejo II Lamongan. This study aims to determine the effect of audio-visual education on knowledge of sorting waste at SDN Sendangrejo II Lamongan. The study used a pre-experimental one group post test design. The population of all students in grades 1-6 at SDN Sendangrejo II Lamongan was 44 respondents using SPSS 26.0 using a total sampling technique, the research instrument used a questionnaire, then the results were analyzed using the Wicoxon test with a significance level of p <0.05. The results of the study showed that before being given audio-visual education about sorting waste, it was found that almost all students (81.8%) had a low level of knowledge and after being given audio-visual education, it was found that most students (72.7%) had a good level of knowledge. Video is one of the educational media that can increase one's knowledge because the material presented can be received through the senses of sight and hearing. It is recommended that educators use this audio- visual technique in providing education or learning activities.
