Abstract

This study aims to determine how the application of good governance principles in public services in Matakali District, Polewali Mandar Regency. The research method used in this study is qualitative descriptive method. Data sources are obtained from primary data and secondary data, data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. This research uses the theory of good governance principles from Sedarmayanti (2009) based on four indicators to measure the success of good governance principles, namely accountability, transparency, openness and the rule of law. The results of this study show that the application of good governance principles in public services in Matakali District, Polewali Mandar Regency is seen from 4 variables of the application of good governance principles, including: 1. The principle of Accountability has been implemented well, this shows that the officers have carried out their public service duties effectively and responsibly in Matakali District. 2. The principle of transparency in public services is divided into two criteria including ease of obtaining information, indicating that the public has not been able to get broad access to information due to the unavailability of technology-based information centers such as WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook or supporting websites in Matakali District; and Government openness in providing information services, indicating that the sub-district officials have provided information services openly in Matakali sub-district. 3. The principle of Openness is still not implemented optimally, this shows that there are still informants who do not know the existence of complaint boxes in Matakali District. 4. The rule of law shows that it has been carried out properly by carrying out duties in accordance with SOPs and without discriminating the services provided.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the Role of Local Government in Protecting Sustainable Agricultural Land in Bontoa District, Maros Regency. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Data collection was carried out using observation, interview and documentation techniques. The data analysis techniques used consist of data collection, data reduction, data display, verification and validation. The research results show that the role of the Regional Government in Protecting Sustainable Agricultural Land in Bontoa District, Maros Regency is in the less effective category. Looking at the research focus, namely: 1) regulators in the poor category; 2) the dynamizer is in the poor category; 3) the facilitator is in the good category; 4) the catalyst is in the poor category

Abstract

This research includes descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques consist of data collection, data condensation, data presentation and conclusions. The results showed that the Effectiveness of Rental Flats Management carried out by the Rusunawa Regional Technical Implementation Unit has not been effective. The management of Rental Flats in Mariso District, Makassar City has not been effective in terms of the dimensions of goal achievement, integration, adaptation and can be seen from the aspects of planning, organizing, implementing and supervising. In the aspect of planning the management of Rusunawa, good management effectiveness is needed so that the objectives of Rusunawa Development are in accordance with the designation of development. Related to the aspect of organizing still requires awareness from the manager regarding their respective duties and functions. The implementation aspect still requires coordination between the management of Rusunawa and residents of Rusunawa related to handling problems and complaints of each occupant unit. The supervision aspect of Rusunawa requires improved management related to security conditions, improving the physical condition of buildings and physical conditions of the environment, so that the purpose of Rusunawa Development is in accordance with the designation of its development.

Abstract

Quality of Health Services at the Tamalanrea Community Health Center Makassar City. Thesis, State Administration Study Program, Department of State Administration Sciences, Faculty of Social Sciences and Law, Makassar State University, supervised by Mrs. Herlina Sakawati and Mr. Didin.This study aims to determine the Quality of Health Services at the Tamalanrea Community Health Center in Makassar City. This type of research is qualitative and produces descriptive data. With data collection techniques carried out by observation, interviews, documentation. The data analysis techniques used consist of data reduction, data presentation and conclusions.The results showed that the quality of service at Puskesmas Tamalanrea showed that the comprehensive dimension was not fully in accordance with the expectations of the community in providing services at Puskesmas Tamalanrea. The quality of Puskesmas services that are considered not in accordance with community expectations can be seen in the tanggible dimension (physical appearance) facilities such as waiting rooms and toilets still need improvement so that patients feel uncomfortable with the situation. In addition, the reliability dimension (ability) shows the length of the registration process at the counter makes patients complain because the medical record data filling system still uses the system. The quality of health services that are considered to be in accordance with community expectations is in the dimension of assurance, where the health apparatus has fully provided good and quality service, and empathy where the health apparatus provides personal treatment or attention to the community served, so as to create an atmosphere of harmony and mutual understanding between those who serve and those served.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the implementation of smoke-free and limited smoking area policies. This research includes descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research indicate that the implementation of smoke-free and limited smoking area policies in Jeneponto Regency. Judging from the four variables, namely, communication, resources, disposition and bureaucratic structure in implementing the smoke-free and limited-smoking area policy, it is still not good and still needs to be improved from the indicators that the communication carried out is still unclear, budget resources and facilities are still inadequate. , the implementer's disposition is still not firm enough in implementing the policy and the organizational structure is still unclear and needs to be evaluated so that the implementation of the smoke-free and limited area policy runs well in accordance with the policy objectives. The suggestions for this research are to disseminate information more directly and clearly, increase supervision and apply strict sanctions, comply with and implement the smoke-free and limited smoking area policy.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Effectiveness of Waste Management at the Makassar City Regional Environmental Office. This type of research is qualitative descriptive. Data collection was carried out by means of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis uses interactive model analysis, namely data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of the study show that the Effectiveness of Waste Management at the Makassar City Regional Environment Agency has not been effective. Judging from the dimensions of goal achievement, integration, adaptation and can be seen from the aspects of planning, organizing, implementing, and supervision, namely 1) The achievement of goals in the aspect of supervision has not been effective because the waste transportation system still faces significant challenges, such as the facilities and infrastructure currently available are still inadequate, such as garbage trucks that already have a schedule but often there are delays in transporting waste that resulting in the pile of garbage tending to increase. 2) Integration in the planning aspect where the community has not or still lacks awareness in carrying out environmental cleanliness even though socialization or directions have been held. 3) Adaptation to the planning aspect where some people have not received the education provided immediately only requires habits in the community and the existing budget is still not able to meet the needs in one time procurement of waste management.

Abstract

This study aims to determine Participatory Planning in realizing Development in Salutambung Village, Ulumanda District, Majene Regency. This type of research is qualitative with data collection techniques carried out by means of observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used consisted of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that participatory planning is based on indicators of participatory planning steps, so the researchers draw the conclusion that participatory planning in realizing development in Salutambung Village, Ulumanda District, Majene Regency, is good planning, which has involved the people of Salutambung Village in the process up to the budget planning process that has been mutually agreed upon. The recommendations from this study are that the Salutambung Village Government needs to pay more attention to and coordinate with all Village Officials so that all the community and can be involved in any activities that are known to be implemented such as the Musrenbang and other Coordination Meetings, as well as the community better increasing their involvement in the development planning process such as during Musrenbang activities and Coordination Meetings held by the local Government, because community involvement will make it easier to define and decide on development issues to be carried out.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of the exclusive breast milk (ASI) service program in Bontobangun Village, Bulukumba Regency.This research includes qualitative descriptive research with data collection techniques including observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques consist of data collection, data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that the effectiveness of the Exclusive Breast Milk (ASI) Program Services in Bontobangun Village, Bulukumba Regency including the dimension of achieving goals has been effective, the community has responded positively to the existence of this program and the IMD figures are increasing every year. The integration dimension shows that it is not yet effective because there are still some mothers who do not give their babies the right to breast milk, while the adaptation dimension is still not effective because in terms of increasing capacity, existing resources are not maximal in utilizing social media for socialization and the community wants it to exist. a wider, closed space for mothers.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the accountability of village fund management in Anrihua Village, Kindang District, Bulukumba Regency. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data condensation, data presentation and withdrawal. The results of this research show that Village Fund Management Accountability is integrated with APBDes accountability including the Planning Stage in the Good Category, the Implementation Stage in the Fair Category, the Administration Stage in the Fair Category, the Reporting Stage in the Poor Category, and the Accountability Stage in the Fair Category

Abstract

This study aims to find out and explain the Implementation of Prisoner Development in Class II A Bulukumba Correctional Institution. To achieve the goal, the researcher uses data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The data obtained from the results of the research were processed using qualitative descriptive information on the Implementation of Prisoner Development in Class II A Bulukumba Correctional Institution. The results of the researcher show that the Implementation of the Development of Inmates in Class II A Bulukumba Correctional Institution has gone well in the indicators of Interests Influenced by the Program, Benefits Produced, Desired Changes that still need to be improved, Decision Making, Program Implementers, Available and quality resources. But on the indicator of available and quality Resources still needs to be improved
