Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of e-commerce usage intensity and consumptive lifestyle on the personal financial management of students of the Economic Education Study Program, FKIP HKBP Nommensen University Pematangsiantar. This research employs a quantitative approach with a causal associative method. The sample consists of 75 respondents selected using a simple random sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires using a Likert scale and analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS.The results show that: (1) e-commerce usage intensity has a significant effect on personal financial management with a t-value of 3.801 and a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05; (2) consumptive lifestyle has a significant effect on personal financial management with a t-value of 6.289 and a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05; and (3) simultaneously, e-commerce usage intensity and consumptive lifestyle have a significant effect on personal financial management with an F-value of 32.894 and a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05.The coefficient of determination (R²) is 0.477, indicating that 47.7% of the variation in personal financial management can be explained by the independent variables, while the remaining 52.3% is influenced by other factors outside this study.The findings indicate that higher levels of e- commerce usage intensity and consumptive lifestyle tend to lead to less optimal personal financial management among students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of study hours at school and academic workload on students’ burnoutacademic at SMK Swasta Teladan Pematangsiantar in the 2025/2026 academic year. This research employed a quantitative approach with an associative research design. The population consisted of 412 students, with a sample of 203 students selected using proportionate stratified random sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires using a Likert scale. The data analysis techniques included multiple linear regression, t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination (R²). The results of the study indicate that: (1) study hours at school have a positive and significant effect on students’ burnout academic, with a t-value of 7.725 and a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05; (2) academic workload has a positive and significant effect on students’ burnout academic, with a t-value of 9.997 and a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05; (3) study hours at school and academic workload simultaneously have a significant effect on students’ burnout academic, with an F-value of 74.304 and a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05. The coefficient of determination (R²) is 0.765, indicating that 76.5% of the variation in burnout academic can be explained by study hours and academic workload, while the remaining 23.5% is influenced by other factors outside this study. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that higher study hours at school and greater academic workload lead to higher levels of students’ burnout academic. Therefore, it is necessary to manage study hours and academic workload proportionally to minimize the level of students’ burnout academic.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of student satisfaction with the Free Nutritious Meal Program (MBG) service on students’ learning motivation at SMP Swasta Teladan Pematangsiantar. The background of this study is based on the low learning motivation of some students and the differences in the level of student satisfaction with the implementation of the Free Nutritious Meal Program at school. Student satisfaction with the program services is assumed to be one of the external factors influencing students’ learning motivation. This study employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. The population consisted of all students of SMP Swasta Teladan Pematangsiantar in the 2025/2026 academic year, totaling 194 students. The sample of 131 students was determined using the Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling technique with the Slovin formula. Data collection techniques included observation and questionnaires using a Likert scale. The data analysis techniques used were validity test, reliability test, descriptive statistics, normality test, heteroscedasticity test, simple linear regression analysis, t-test, and coefficient of determination (R²). The results of the study indicate that there is a positive and significant effect of student satisfaction with the Free Nutritious Meal Program (MBG) service on students’ learning motivation at SMP Swasta Teladan Pematangsiantar. The higher the level of student satisfaction with the MBG service, the higher the students’ learning motivation. The MBG program, through good service quality such as punctual food distribution, food cleanliness, menu variety, and service convenience, is able to improve students’ enthusiasm and motivation in participating in learning activities.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of mindfulness and students’ study time management at school on the social studies learning outcomes of students at UPTD SMP Negeri 5 Pematangsiantar. This study was motivated by the low learning outcomes of students, who have not yet achieved an adequate learning completion rate, as well as their weak mindfulness and study time management.This is a quantitative study using a descriptive quantitative data analysis approach. The study population consists of all 536 students at UPTD SMP Negeri 5 Pematangsiantar. The sample size is 84 students. Simple random sampling was used. Data were collected via a questionnaire.The results of the study indicate that mindfulness does not have a significant effect on student learning outcomes, as evidenced by the t-test showing t-calculated < t-table (-0.125 < 1.663). Study time management has a significant effect on learning outcomes, as evidenced by the t-test showing t-calculated > t-table (4.196 > 1.663). Mindfulness and study time management together influence students’ learning outcomes; this result is evident from the F-test, which shows that the calculated F-value (14.961) is greater than the critical F-value (3.11) with a significance level of 0.001 < 0.05. The coefficient of determination was found to be 0.270, indicating that 27% of student learning outcomes at UPTD SMP Negeri 5 Pematangsiantar are influenced by mindfulness and study time management. The remaining 73% are influenced by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of learning interest and peer environment on students’ learning outcomes in Social Studies subjects for seventh grade students at SMP Negeri 5 Pematangsiantar. The background of this study is based on the low student learning outcomes, as indicated by the large number of students who have not achieved the Learning Objective Achievement Criteria (KKTP). The factors assumed to influence learning outcomes in this study are learning interest and peer environment. This study used a quantitative method with an explanatory survey approach. The population in this study consisted of all seventh grade students at SMP Negeri 5 Pematangsiantar, totaling 158 students. The sampling technique used was proportionate stratified random sampling, resulting in a sample of 113 students. Data were collected through questionnaires and documentation. The research instruments were tested using validity and reliability tests. The data analysis techniques included classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination test (R²). The results of the study showed that: (1) learning interest had a positive and significant influence on students’ learning outcomes, proven by a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 and a t-value of 7.489; (2) peer environment had a positive and significant influence on students’ learning outcomes, proven by a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 and a t-value of 4.371; and (3) learning interest and peer environment simultaneously had a positive and significant influence on students’ learning outcomes, proven by a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 and an F-value of 72.040. The coefficient of determination test (R²) showed a value of 0.567 or 56.7%, which means that learning interest and peer environment contributed 56.7% to students’ learning outcomes, while the remaining 43.3% was influenced by other factors outside this study. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that learning interest and peer environment have a positive and significant influence on students’ learning outcomes in Social Studies subjects for seventh grade students at SMP Negeri 5 Pematangsiantar in the 2025/2026 Academic Year.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh literasi keuangan dan financial technology terhadap perilaku keuangan mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Ekonomi Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas HKBP Nommensen Pematangsiantar Tahun Akademik 2025/2026. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan asosiatif kausal. Hasil uji hipotesis secara parsial menunjukkan bahwa variabel Literasi Keuangan memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap Perilaku Keuangan Mahasiswa yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai thitung (4,086) > ttabel (1,661). Selain itu, variabel Financial Technology juga berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Perilaku Keuangan Mahasiswa dengan nilai thitung (6,429) > ttabel (1,661). Selanjutnya, hasil uji simultan menunjukkan bahwa Literasi Keuangan dan Financial Technology secara bersama-sama berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Perilaku Keuangan Mahasiswa, ditunjukkan dengan nilai Fhitung (32,587) > Ftabel (3,093). Dalam hasil analisis regresi linear berganda diperoleh konstanta sebesar 24,795 yang mengandung arti bahwa nilai konsisten variabel Perilaku Keuangan Mahasiswa adalah sebesar 24,795. Koefisien regresi X1 sebesar 0,214 dan X2 sebesar 0,260. Koefisien regresi tersebut bernilai positif, sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa arah pengaruh variabel X1 dan variabel X2 terhadap Y adalah positif. Berdasarkan hasil uji koefisien determinasi, diperoleh nilai Rsquare sebesar 0,409 yang berarti 40,9% variabel Literasi Keuangan dan Financial Technology berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Perilaku Keuangan Mahasiswa, sedangkan 59,1% sisanya dijelaskan oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini.
