Abstract

Pada pemilihan umum tahun 2018, generasi Z akan menjadi pemilih pemula yang akan menggunakan hak pilihnya. Berdasarkan data Komisi Pemilihan Umum tahun 2018 menyebutkan pemilih pemula di Jawa Barat mencapai 30% dari total pemilih. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perilaku pencarian informasi generasi Z pada Pemilihan Umum Gubernur Jawa Barat 2018. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Terdapat lima siswa SMA yang akan menjadi informan pada penelitian ini dan teknik pengambilan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian ini yakni terdapat karakteristik kebutuhan informasi generasi Z dalam konteks prosedur pemilu, profil pasangan calon gubernur, kegiatan kampanye, serta program yang ditawarkan. Frekuensi kebutuhan informasi cenderung rendah dan tidak terprediksi. Sumber informasi yang digunakan cenderung menggunakan sumber online melalui media sosial dan media massa online, tapi juga mendapatkan informasi lain seperti televisi, koran, sharing dengan teman, orangtua dan keluarga. Pada aspek kesadaran atau pemahaman terhadap sumber informasi, faktor kebiasaan, kemasan informasi, harga dan aksesibilitas informasi mempengaruhi perilaku kebutuhan informasi generasi Z tapi mereka memiliki kendala untuk menilai kualitas informasi. Hal ini membuat generasi Z mudah menerima informasi hoax atau terprovokasi pada media sosial seperti Facebook, Instagram, Youtube dan Twitter.

Abstract

Research Data Management (RDM) merupakan trend baru pada perpustakaan perguruan tinggi dalam mendukung World Class University. Research Data Management merupakan istilah yang menggambarkan kegiatan organisasi, penyimpanan, preservasi dan berbagi data yang dikumpulkan untuk sebuah penelitian. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pentingnya RDM pada perguruan tinggi dan mendeskripsikan model RDM di Perpustakaan National University of Singapore. Metode yang digunakan untuk penelitian adalah studi pustaka dan dokumentasi. Temuan pada tulisan ini yakni pentingnya RDM di perguruan tinggi bertujuan untuk meningkatkan produktivitas riset, meningkatkan efesiensi riset serta meningkatkan keamanan data dan meminimalkan resiko kehilangan data riset. Selain itu didapatkan model RDM yang diberikan berupa tahapan dimulai dari organisasi file, format file, metadata, lisensi dan hak cipta, pengelolaan data sensitif, preservasi dan sharing data serta sitasi data.ABSTRACTResearch Data Management (RDM) is a new trend in universities to support World Class University. Research Data Management is a form of unique activity which managed how to collected, storage, preserved and data sharing for study. This paper aims to find out how important RDM in universities and describe the RDM model in the National University of Singapore Libraries. The method used for this research is literature study and documentation. The finding showed that RDM is very important to improve research reproducibility, increasing research efficiency and enhancing data security and minimizing the risk of data loss. Best practice for RDM in the National University of Singapore Libraries showed several steps are file organization, file formats, metadata, dealing with sensitive data, preserving and sharing data, rights and licensing and data citation.

Abstract

Lifelong learning can be developed through literacy programs in school libraries. This study aimed to determine the implementation of lifelong learning competence through literacy programs in school libraries. The research method used a qualitative approach through research methods a descriptive to a librarian, four teachers, and 22 students at Al Haraki Islamic Junior High School, Depok, West Java.  Through observation, data collection techniques were carried out using a lifelong learning dimension checklist form, semi-structured and in-depth interviews, and literature studies. Data analysis techniques were data reduction utilizing open coding, data presentation, and concluding. Study results indicated that the librarian organized literacy programs supporting the School Literacy Movement. In practice, the librarian acted as the initiator; the teacher became the facilitator and the librarian's partner in developing literacy programs in school. The literacy program had a positive impact on students, including shaping character, increasing knowledge, developing special talents related to communication and writing, adding experience, building positive relationships between librarians and students, and intellectual recreation. Communication competence in foreign languages was one of the lifelong learning competencies that the school library program did not accommodate. The literacy program's obstacles were managing study time and the roles of parents and family at home. This study concludes that the school library literacy program has supported improving the implementation of lifelong learning competencies for students in several dimensions.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the role of the school library as an information source for teachers in improving the learning process. The method used in this study is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Informants in this study were librarian and teachers of Madrasah Aliyah Mathla’ul Huda. Data collection techniques were carried out from December 2019 to February 2020 through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Data analysis techniques in the form of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of this study indicate that the information sources in the school library have been utilized by the teachers for a source to prepare learning implementation plans to improve the learning process. Based on the research results, the school library has realized its role as an information source for teachers in the learning process through library collections. In addition, 60% of the existing collections can meet the information needs of teachers. In realizing the role as an information sources, libraries experience obstacles in developing collections due to limited budgets, so that the number of books and subjects available is still lacking in meeting the needs of teachers. In addition, the library space is lacking, so it cannot accommodate large numbers of users. Therefore, the library makes various efforts to overcome, by collaborating with various related parties such as teachers and students in the selection and collections aquicition to suit their needs; cooperating with the Principal in the development of the library, especially in budget/funds.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mendeskripsikan kegiatan humas dalam meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode penelitian kualitatif. Penelitian dilakukan di Sekolah Menengah Pertama An-Nur Bululawang Kabupaten Malang. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi serta dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data mengikuti model analisis data kualitatif Miles dan Huberman. Keabsahan data dicapai dengan triangulasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelibatan masyarakat dalam kegiatan sekolah dilakukan melalui kegiatan rutin dan kegiatan insidental. Media yang digunakan untuk berkomunikasi dengan masyarakat yaitu WhatsApp dan surat formal. Langkah kegiatan yang dilakukan meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi kegiatan. Hasilnya yaitu citra sekolah yang baik serta terbangunnya komunikasi positif antara sekolah dengan masyarakat. Kendala yang dihadapi sekolah dalam meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat yaitu kesibukan orang tua siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menjelaskan tentang representasi perpustakaan dan pustakawan dalam film The Night at The Museum 3. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan analisis semiotic yang menggunakan model Pierce yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan representasi perpustakaan dan pustakawan dalam film dengan prinsip realitas dan representasi. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa Perpustakaan dalam film ini digambarkan sebagai tempat mendapatkan informasi yang lengkap bagi siapa saja dengan menyediakan koleksi yang banyak dan beragam. Sedangkan pustakawan digambarkan sebagai sosok yang berusia lanjut tapi pintar, pemegang kekuasaan tertinggi di perpustakaan, serta sosok yang melek teknologi untuk mendukung proses pelayanan users di perpustakaan sesuai dengan perkembangan globalisasi.  ABSTRACT This study describes the representation of libraries and librarians in the film The Night at The Museum 3. This study uses descriptive qualitative research using semiotic analysis using the Pierce model, which aims to describe the representation of libraries and librarians in films with the principles of reality and representation. The conclusion of this study explains that the library in this film is described as a place to get complete information for anyone by providing a large and varied collection. While librarians are depicted as elderly but smart, the highest authority in the library, as well as a technology literate figure to support the service process of users in the library under the development of globalization.

Abstract

Manajemen Data mencakup semua kegiatan yang berhubungan dengan data selain penggunaan langsung dari data, termasuk organisasi data; back up data; pengarsipan data; berbagi data dan penerbitan; menjamin keamanan data rahasia dan sinkronisasi data. Kegiatan manajemen data adalah suatu kegiatan penting yang dilakukan oleh individu ataupun organisasi terhadap data agar mudah di akses, aman dan tersedia bagi user/ pemakainya. Kegiatan manajemen data di ASEAN Youth Friendship Network dilakukan oleh Project officer karena berkenaan dan berhubungan langsung dalam proses manajerial data, penyimpanan, dan pengolahan data untuk mendapatkan metadata. Proses manajemen data yang dilakukan AYFN terdiri atas lima tahapan yakni perencanaan (planning), pengumpulan (collecting), pengolahan (processing), organisasi data (organizing), penyajian dan penyampaian (presentation). ABSTRACTData Management covers all activities related to data other than direct use of data, including data organization; back up data; data archiving; data sharing and publishing; ensure confidential data security and data synchronization. Data management activities are an important activity carried out by individuals or organizations on data so that they are easy to access, secure and available to the user / user. Data management activities in the ASEAN Youth Friendship Network are carried out by Project officers because they pertain to and relate directly to data managerial processes, data storage and processing to obtain metadata. The data management process carried out by AYFN consists of five stages, namely planning, collecting, processing, data organization, presentation and presentation.

Abstract

Introduction. The purpose of this study is to assess the quality of the vocational school library websites and to determine the factors that influence the websites’ quality. Data Collection Methods. This paper used a quantitative method with a population of vocational high school students in Yogyakarta. A questionnaire was used to collect data from 357 students from three schools. Data Analysis. WebQual Index (WQI) and Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) data analysis approaches were used. Results and Discussion. This study discovered a WQI score of 0.87 on the library website of SMKN 1 Bantul, 0.85 on the library website of SMKN 1 Godean, and 0.81 on the library website of SMKN 2 Yogyakarta. According to user views, the quality of the library website of SMKN 1 Bantul is high. The result showed that users considered six factors, these were positive website experience, reliable information offered by the website, personal data security, personalization features, ease of communication with the website manager, and website manager information. Conclusion. In general, the quality of the Yogyakarta vocational high school library website is good in three areas: usability, information quality, and interaction service quality.

Abstract

Introduction. The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of Indonesian COVID-19 research. One of them is productive author, productive citations, the most popular social media to disseminate research results, the most popular articles on social media, mapping or distribution of research results visualization, and the correlation of social media data with citations. Data Collection Method. The research data was taken from the Scopus database and this research use method Bibliometric, Altmetric, Scientometric, and linear regression tests. Data Analysis. The data of the study was analyzed using program (altmetric.com), VOSViewer and SPSS software. Result and Discussion. Pranata, R. was the productive author in producing Indonesian COVID-19 research. The University of Indonesia is the most productive institution. The study "Clinical, laboratory, and imaging features of COVID-19: A systematic review and meta-analysis" received the most citations and shares on social media. Mendeley is the most popular social media platform for disseminating research. Conclusion. Based on the above findings, the spread of COVID-19 research in Indonesia on the most popular social media is mendeley 17.701, followed by Twitter 2.971 and news mentions 177. According to linear regression tests, mendeley is social media platform with a high correlation value of 0.814.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi perubahan tingkat kesiapsiagaan masyarakat terhadap bencana banjir. Fokus penelitian ini di Dusun Kentingan, Kelurahan Jebres, Kecamatan Jebres, Kota Surakarta yang mengalami bencana banjir pada tahun 2007. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode campuran (mixed method) dengan data kuantitatif dan kualitatif dengan pendekatan Actor Network Theory yang bertujuan mengetahui latar belakang perubahan tingkat kesiapsiagaan masyarakat. Data kualitatif didapatkan melalui informan yang terlibat pada bencana banjir 2007, sedangkan data kuantitatif dikumpulkan melalui angket yang disebarkan kepada seluruh kepala keluarga. Analisis kesiapsiagaan menggunakan kerangka kesiapsiagaan LIPI/UNESCO yang berfokus pada empat indikator. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa terjadi perubahan tingkat kesiapsiagaan individu rumah tangga yang disebabkan oleh pengalaman banjir tahun 2007 dan berbagai aktor yang terlibat dalam fenomena tersebut. Indeks kesiapsiagaan meningkat dari kategori “kurang siap” menjadi “siap”. Selain itu, perubahan tingkat kesiapsiagaan dipengaruhi oleh jaringan interaksi non-human & human actors yang terdiri atas empat momen yaitu problematization, interessement, enrollment, dan mobilization.
