Abstract

This community service program was implemented under the UPN Veteran Jawa Timur Mengabdi scheme in Gunung Anyar Subdistrict, Surabaya. The primary objective was to enhance adolescents’ capacity to prevent sexual violence and bullying, while simultaneously strengthening their mental health literacy. The program employed a participatory psychoeducational approach, incorporating interactive lectures, group discussions, role-play simulations, and training on the use of the Circle of 6 digital application as a preventive tool. A total of 15 adolescents from the local Karang Taruna youth organization participated in a training session held on June 12, 2025, followed by mentoring sessions on August 6 and 14, 2025. Evaluation using pre- and post-test instruments indicated a 71% improvement in participants’ knowledge and skills, particularly in recognizing the forms and impacts of sexual violence and bullying, developing assertive communication, and building readiness to act as bystanders in high-risk situations. The use of the Circle of 6 application was proven effective in enhancing digital literacy and emergency preparedness among participants. Furthermore, the psychoeducational approach significantly increased participants’ awareness of stress, anxiety, and depression symptoms and encouraged a willingness to seek professional help. The novelty of this program lies in the integration of psychoeducational methods, digital technology, and community participation, which collectively empower adolescents to become agents of change within their social environment. Despite challenges such as limited training duration and varying levels of participant engagement, the program demonstrated strong potential for replication and scalability through cross-sector collaboration. Overall, this initiative contributes to the development of community-based intervention models grounded in science and technology (IPTEKS) to support efforts in preventing violence and promoting adolescent mental health in Indonesia.

Abstract

The development of digital marketing is encouraging service companies, including the hospitality sector, to develop digital reseller-based marketing models. RedDoorz implemented a coaching program through the RedSeller app as part of its training program for new resellers. This community service program aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of the RedSeller coaching program in improving new resellers' understanding of app usage and digital marketing readiness. The method used was descriptive qualitative through participatory observation, pre- and post-tests in the form of open-ended questions, and documentation of coaching activities and follow-up mentoring. The program was conducted online via Google Meet and supported by mentoring through a WhatsApp group. The results showed an increase in RedSellers' understanding of RedSeller app features and digital promotion strategies after participating in the coaching. However, a single coaching session is not entirely sufficient, requiring ongoing mentoring. Therefore, it is recommended to strengthen coaching materials, provide video tutorials, promotional content templates, and provide regular thematic webinars.

Abstract

Digital platform-based partnership models are growing in line with the increasing demand for flexible work and community economic participation. The RedSeller program is one of RedDoorz's official digital partnerships that allows individuals from diverse backgrounds to become marketing partners for accommodation services. However, when they first join, new RedSellers often face obstacles such as a limited understanding of the work system, use of the application, and effective marketing strategies. This situation results in low readiness and confidence among partners in carrying out promotional activities. This activity aims to improve the understanding of new RedSellers through coaching-based education and mentoring. The methods used include intensive online coaching, presentation of material on the RedSeller work system, use of the RedSeller application, and mentoring on promotional strategies through multi-platform social media. The evaluation was conducted descriptively and qualitatively by observing changes in partners' understanding, actions, and readiness before and after coaching. The results of the activity showed an increase in partners' understanding of the role of RedSeller, operational flow, and application usage, followed by increased confidence in conducting promotions and the ability to apply marketing communication strategies in a more focused manner. These findings confirm that the coaching approach is relevant as an educational strategy and initial guidance in supporting the readiness of new partners in the partnership-based digital marketing ecosystem.
