Abstract

The purpose of this study was to explain the effect of training and work motivation on employee performance using research objects at Dinas Kesehatan Provinsi Jawa Timur. This research uses a quantitative approach. The population in this study were employees of the Health Office (Dinas Kesehatan) of Jawa Timur Province. The sample in this study was 72 respondents who had gone through calculations using the Slovin formula. The data analysis used in this research uses the component-based Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method using the Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis tool. The results of this research show that training can have a positive and significant influence on employee performance, and work motivation has a positive and significant influence on employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of workload and work environment on employee performance through employee job satisfaction at PT. X. This type of research is a quantitative study with primary data and uses a questionnaire technique with a Likert scale of 5 points for a sample of 64 respondents. The data obtained was then analyzed using Partial Least Square (PLS). The results showed that overall employee performance was influenced by workload, work environment, job satisfaction, and the rest by other variables outside the research model. Workload has a non-significant negative effect on employee performance, work environment has a significant positive effect on employee performance, workload has a significant negative effect on job satisfaction, work environment has a significant positive effect on job satisfaction, job satisfaction has a significant positive effect on employee performance, job satisfaction has mediated workload on employee performance with a significant negative relationship, job satisfaction mediates the work environment on employee performance with a significant positive relationship.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pendampingan branding produk dan digital marketing dapat membantu pemilik UMKM Doyan Jajan untuk mengembangkan usahanya sehingga mampu menjangkau masyarakat luas. Metode yang digunakan adalah berbagi pengetahuan yang dilakukan melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan. Mitra dalam penelitian ini pemilik UMKM “Doyan Jajan”. Kebutuhan mitra adalah keterbatasan pengetahuan tentang penggunaan teknologi digital untuk pembuatan logo branding dan pemasaran produknya secara online. Hasil dari kegiatan ini pemilik usaha mendapatkan pemahaman baru mengenai pentingnya branding untuk membuat produknya lebih menarik dan memiliki citra yang mudah diingat oleh konsumen. Selain itu pemilik usaha juga dapat mempraktikkan secara langsung pembuatan logo brand produk melalui website Canva serta pemasaran yang dilakukan secara digital melalui media sosial Instagram dan e-commerce Shopee sehingga jangkauan target pasarnya lebih besar. Pemilik UMKM dapat mempelajari suatu keahlian baru untuk menggunakan teknologi digital yang dapat digunakan untuk branding dan memasarkan produknya. Sehingga hal ini dapat menunjang kemajuan usahanya.

Abstract

The development of the digital economy in Indonesia triggers a transformation in the labor sector, including application-based industries such as Gojek. Factors that influence driver job satisfaction include compensation and work motivation, while the reduction of compensation and lack of appreciation for driver performance often become issues. This research aims to analyze the influence of compensation and work motivation on job satisfaction among Gojek drivers Surabaya. This research uses a quantitative approach with data collected through questionnaires from 100 Gojek drivers Surabaya as the sample. The data analysis technique uses Partial Least Square (PLS) through the Smart PLS 4 program. Research results show that compensation, with the main aspect of incentives, contributes positively to job satisfaction. Work motivation also has a significant impact with the main indicator being recognition. These results indicate that the increase in compensation and work motivation plays an important role in enhancing the job satisfaction of Gojek drivers Surabaya. Abstract

Technological advances have an impact on several sectors, including investment use. There are several factors that can influence investment decisions. The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors of Overconfidence, Availability bias, and risk perception and financial literacy as a moderation of stock investment decisions in generation Z in Surabaya City. This study uses a quantitative approach with a sample in this study, namely generation Z from Surabaya City with an age range of 17 to 27 years, totaling 141 respondents. Data collection in this study was carried out by distributing questionnaires and then the data analysis technique used was using Partial Least Square (PLS). This study found that (1) Overconfidence contributes to stock investment decision making. (2) Availability bias contributes to stock investment decision making. (3) risk perception cannot contribute to stock investment decision making. (4) financial literacy can moderate the relationship between overconfidence and stock investment decision making. (5) financial literacy cannot moderate the relationship between availability bias and stock investment decision making. (6) financial literacy can moderate the relationship between risk perception and stock investment decision making.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of work-life balance and non-physical work environment on employee performance, with job satisfaction as an intervening variable, at the East Java Regional Office of Madura for UMKM Bank. The population in this study consists of 100 employees working in the Credit Division, General & HR Division, and Customer Service Division from the Bangkalan, Sampang, Pamekasan, and Sumenep branch offices. The sample was selected using the census method, where the entire population is used as respondents. Data was collected and analyzed using SmartPLS software. The results show that: (1) Work-life balance contributes to improving employee performance by providing clarity in tasks and responsibilities that align with competencies, (2) The non-physical work environment also contributes to improving employee performance by motivating employees to demonstrate their best potential, (3) Work-life balance has a positive impact on employee performance through increased job satisfaction, as employees feel more satisfied with well-structured work, (4) The nonphysical work environment contributes to performance improvement through job satisfaction due to objective leadership policies in providing assessments.

Abstract

Cyberloafing is a form deviant workplace behaviour that has become increasingly prevalent, particularly among Generation Z employees. This study aims to examine the effect of role conflict on cyberloafing behaviour, as well as the role of work stress as a mediating variable in this relationship. The research employed a quantitative approach involving 90 respondents who are Generation Z employees in Sidoarjo. Data were collected through questionnaires and analysed using the Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) method with the assistance of SmartPLS software. The result indicate that role conflict has a positive and significant effect on cyberloafing behaviour. Furthermore, work stress was found to have a significant mediating role in bridging the relationship between role conflict and cyberloafing behaviour.

Abstract

Pembahasan ini bertujuan untuk menerangi penyelenggaraan program pelatihan dalam meningkatkan kinerja energi marketing baru pada perusahaan pialang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dengan teknik survey, dimana data dikumpulkan melalui kuisioner pada marketing baru yang telah mengikuti pelatihan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar marketing baru belum memahami dengan baik tentang layanan dan produk perusahaan. Pelatihan yang terstruktur dengan baik menjadi kunci untuk membekali marketing baru dengan keterampilan dan pengetahuan yang relevan, sehingga dapat menunjang produktivitas dan efektivitas kerja. Program pelatihan yang dirancang dengan fokus pada kebutuhan pasar dan strategi pemasaran terkini memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam meningkatkan pemahaman produk dan layanan, keterampilan komunikasi, dan kepercayaan diri tenaga marketing baru yang akan berdampak pada pencapaian target penjualan perusahaan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and examine the effect of career development and work-life balance on the job satisfaction of employees of PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Sepanjang Plant. The entire population is used as a research sample in this quantitative research design, which also uses probability sampling techniques with a total of 50 respondents by census. To ensure the accuracy and consistency of the data, questionnaires that had undergone validity and reliability tests were distributed to collect the data. SmartPLS4 software was used to analyze the data. By using the partial least squares (PLS) analysis approach combined with the structural equation model (SEM) to test the hypothesis of this study. The Likert scale was used as the measurement scale in this study. The findings of this study explain that employee job satisfaction is positively and significantly influenced by work-life balance. Employee job happiness is positively and significantly influenced by career growth.
