Abstract

This study aimed to discover students' perceptions of using animation videos from Powtoon as learning media on the greeting card topic, especially for their speaking ability. This study was carried out at SMPN 14, Bengkulu Tengah, in the eighth grade. The present study employed a quantitative research methodology in survey research design. Twelve VIII-A students who were selected through the use of the purposive sampling technique served as the research samples. A Likert scale was used to assess the data that were gathered from a questionnaire regarding students' perceptions. The mean score of each questionnaire item was then categorized using interval score interpretation. The study's conclusions showed that students' perceptions of Powtoon's use as a teaching tool in speaking classes were positive. All 11 questionnaire items (73,3%) obtained the “very good” category, and 4 questionnaire items (26,7%) obtained the “good category.” In conclusion, the majority of the students agreed that Powtoon makes the learning process more interesting and makes absorbing the material easier, increasing students pronunciation and vocabulary mastery. The teacher also benefited in terms of producing interesting and fun speaking lesson videos

Abstract

The incidence of stunting in Indonesia in 2021 is relatively high with a stunting prevalence of 24.4%, and one area in West Pasaman Regency has even experienced an increase in the incidence of stunting in 2022. The adverse effects of stunting are not only related to the child's height, it can also cause permanent disability and affect the child's future. To find out the factors associated with the incidence of stunting in toddlers.this research is a quantitative study with an observational analytic design through a cross-sectional approach. The sample is taken by simple random sampling technique. Data processing is in the form of univariate analysis and bivariate analysis. The results of the data analysis in this study obtained significant results between the incidence of stunting and parenting factors and economic factors. various factors include causing the incidence of stunting in toddlers in West Pasaman Regency, so that family assistance is one of the efforts to prevent stunting incidents.

Abstract

Pelayanan publik merupakan aspek penting dalam menunjang kesejahteraan masyarakat, terutama bagi kelompok rentan ekonomi. Penelitian ini menganalisis kualitas pelayanan publik dalam proses pembuatan Surat Keterangan Tidak Mampu (SKTM) di Desa Sibalaya Utara, Kecamatan Tanambulava, Kabupaten Sigi. SKTM dibutuhkan guna memperoleh akses bantuan sosial, pendidikan, dan layanan kesehatan, namun kualitas pelayanan seringkali belum memenuhi ekspektasi masyarakat. Permasalahan yang ditemukan meliputi lambatnya proses, tidak transparannya prosedur, kurangnya kompetensi aparatur, serta minimnya fasilitas pendukung pelayanan publik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis dilakukan secara tematik dengan mengaitkan pada teori-teori pelayanan publik dan hasil penelitian terdahulu, serta memanfaatkan triangulasi data untuk validitas. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas pelayanan belum optimal, khususnya pada dimensi keandalan, daya tanggap, serta komunikasi antar petugas dan masyarakat. Faktor yang mempengaruhi kualitas meliputi sumber daya manusia, sarana prasarana, prosedur pelayanan, partisipasi masyarakat, serta budaya organisasi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, direkomendasikan perlunya pelatihan aparatur desa, peningkatan fasilitas, digitalisasi prosedur layanan, serta penguatan partisipasi masyarakat dan kolaborasi lintas sektor. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi rujukan perbaikan tata kelola pelayanan publik di tingkat desa agar lebih inklusif dan akuntabel
