Abstract

The Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (KKP) through the Biak Numfor Regency Fisheries Service, is developing Samber-Binyeri Village, as a pilot fishing village in Papua to enhance the economy. A number of issues and factors, including inadequate fishing equipment, infrastructure, availability of fuel, and a lack of knowledge and skills on fishing technology and practice, have contributed to the low income and productivity of traditional fishermen. Furthermore, poor health facilities and coastal waste management make the villages unhygienic to live in, messy, and unattractive for visitors and tourists. However, implementing new policies and management practices requires a proper understanding of current practice, culture, and its impact on its ecosystem, should the change be made. Therefore, it requires proficient teams to evaluate the current model and develop a new model that yields exemplary outcomes aligned with the objectives at minimum risk. For this reason, equipping the KKP team with knowledge related to system thinking and system dynamics is very important. A four-day' workshop in system thinking and system dynamics has been carried out in Bandung in two stages: stage one, a basic understanding of system thinking and system dynamics, and stage two, modeling optimization using Vensim software. The output of this workshop programs is: to define problems and dynamic hypotheses in each field or section as a basis for Sustainable development of Kampung Nelayan Maju

Abstract

Abstract

The use of LEDs in fishing operations has been increasing due to the reduction of fuel consumption and fuel can be replaced by the renewable energy sources, for example solar and seawater energy, which is easy to obtain, cheap, and does not produce waste that harms the environment. The objective of this community development is to test the newly designed smart lamp powered by seawater, and to disseminate the concept of cooperation. The methods used were assistance and coaching in the implementation of the smart lamp and seminars on cooperative concepts. The seawater battery lamp showed stable performance in the voltage range of 2.5 V - 4.5 V within 2 hours of fishing operation. the results of SONAR observations showed that fish began to approach under 10 minutes and gathered at 45 minutes with depths ranging from 1-4 meters. The lamp powered by the fuel oil powered generator is significantly brighter than the lamp powered by saltwater batteries. Some recommendation arises including the necessity for an alternative to zinc as a durable electrode, reduced tool size dimensions, a rust-resistant wire system, fewer cells in one battery unit, brighter lighting, and a more compact tool form design. The catches from both locations are also quite similar, including squid, cuttlefish, crab, and anchovies. The dissemination concept of cooperative social entrepreneurship, were effective shown by the score of intention after the seminar which is increased by 40%. It was recommended to accelerate the establishment of cooperatives to improve the level of living. This community development activities are considered very useful and fishermen in Palabuhan Ratu and Karang antu Serang.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic disrupts many aspects of life. Over the last few years, our behavior has needed to adapt to a new normal. One of the most observable changes due to the COVID-19 pandemic is the implementation of teleworking or a work from home policy. Many companies take the initiative of workplace alignment with new hybrid working methods to face post-pandemic Covid19 to stay productive and relevant to a business challenge. The purpose of this study was to fill the gaps by investigating several potential predictors of job satisfaction during hybrid working implementation in the post-pandemic COVID-19, such as work-life balance and workload. Using quantitative explanatory research methodology, 138 employees from Indonesia's leading heavy equipment company experiencing hybrid working participated. The responses were analyzed using Smart-PLS software to create the Structural Equation Model (SEM). The study revealed that hybrid working has a significant effect directly on work-life balance and workload. It also indirectly affects job satisfaction through work-life balance (full mediation). On the other hand, hybrid working does not directly and insignificantly affect job satisfaction as well as workloads that cannot mediate hybrid working on job satisfaction (no mediation). In the post-pandemic period, hybrid working as a new way of working can maintain employee job satisfaction in the current work environment. In response to future business challenges, hybrid working may be a viable alternative for boosting organizational productivity.

Abstract

Strengthening the Managerial Competence of Driver Teachers is an effort to improve the managerial quality of teachers who play a driving role in education. This includes developing skills in leading, managing resources and motivating teams to achieve educational goals. Lead teachers are those who not only teach in the classroom but also lead by example, inspire and motivate their colleagues and involve them in strategic decision-making to improve the quality of education in schools. Strong managerial skills include the ability to plan strategically, organize resources, manage time and priorities, and build and maintain effective working relationships. Strengthening managerial competencies is done through continuous training and development. This includes workshops, courses, mentoring and hands-on experience in complex education project management. In addition to managerial skills, teacher leaders also need to have strong leadership skills. They need to be able to drive the school's vision and mission, motivate staff and build an inclusive and collaborative work culture. Lead teachers are often the catalyst for change in schools. They drive innovation in teaching methods, curriculum development and the implementation of new educational technologies to improve student learning outcomes

Abstract

Social media influencers are winning over the internet with their outstanding work and presence. Their opinions have a powerful impact on people, especially on the young generation. We can mark them as a modern phenomenon that has seen a huge increase in cooperation with marketing agencies over recent years. More and more people are following such influencers so that they do not miss out on their content. Brands flock to such influencers for mentions, reviews, and recommendations. Even though influencer marketing is a relatively new strategy, it continues to be a viable solution for marketers who are willing to think outside the box while building relationships with their target market. The aim of the study is to offer a comprehensive reflection on influencer marketing opportunities and determine the impact of influencers on consumer behavior of Generation Y and Z. We wanted to find out whether influencers, who promote products, can attract potential customers and encourage them to purchase, as well as find differences between the given consumers' generations. The analysis is performed using statistics. Thus, this inquiry is also a study of causality. Causal research, alternatively referred to as explanatory study, is used to determine the extent and type of cause-and-effect relationships

Abstract

A risk maturity assessment is a useful tool for construction firms to evaluate both their strengths and weaknesses in risk management procedures and take the required steps to improve them. The assessment was conducted in a building construction project, to determine the level of risk maturity for two consecutive years in May, 20023 and 2024. The activities were carried out in four projects, covering the most important activities of risk management and analyzing the improvement. The RMM matrix used in this article is adapted from the Logic Manager, which consists of seven sections, each focusing on a different core ERM attribute. These seven areas are further broken down into 25 success components and 71 competency drivers that show exactly where an organization's ERM program stands on five maturity levels, ranging from Ad Hoc to Leadership. The model helps construction companies understand their current risk management performance. We tested the model by measuring the risk maturity level of an industrial partner working on civil infrastructure projects in Indonesia. The result of the Risk Maturity Level (RML) assessment is 3.6 (Managed), an increase of 0.3 points from the result in 2023 (3.3), reflected in several achievements in criteria 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 and 7, including a Risk committee formed to plan based on external and internal analysis of the organization. This study demonstrates that employing risk maturity management techniques may promote corporate development and efficiency, resulting in resilience and sustainability.

Abstract

Cooperatives, as social enterprises, prioritize community welfare and shared value over profit maximization. This study contributes a novel integrative framework that links frugal innovation, creating shared value (CSV), and humanistic governance to cooperative performance, addressing a gap in cooperative governance research. Employing SmartPLS3 with conditional mediating (CoMe) analysis, data were collected from 342 fishermen across Java. Findings reveal that CSV significantly mediates the relationship between frugal innovation and cooperative performance, while humanistic governance positively moderates the CSV–performance link. This model offers empirical validation for applying corporate governance principles in cooperative settings. Theoretically, it advances understanding of how governance enhances value creation in social enterprises. For practitioners, the results underscore that strengthening humanistic governance is not merely ethical but strategic—leaders must cultivate participatory, value-driven governance to boost cooperative outcomes. This research marks an early empirical attempt to operationalize governance's conditional role in social business ecosystems.

Abstract

This community development paper is related to socioeconomic issues in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), an area known for its high rates of poverty and child malnutrition. Wahana Visi Indonesia launched an Inclusion Community Development Program to empower underprivileged households and small farmers in response to these issues, working with the PPM School of Management. Workshops that promoted opportunity recognition, business planning, and digital marketing were used to help participants develop their entrepreneurial abilities during the February 2025 event. Explanation, coaching and mini case studies are a technique used in community development to comprehend and resolve issues.. The results show that despite efforts to include underrepresented groups, participants' understanding of entrepreneurial principles was hindered by educational gaps. By highlighting the value of cooperatives and ongoing training for sustainable economic growth in NTT, the program showed promise for fostering resilience and inventiveness in local economies. Suggestions for upcoming projects include continued assistance for collaborative growth and customized instruction to improve participants' business savvy

Abstract

This study examines how entrepreneurial self-efficacy (ESE) shapes MSMEs’ continuance intention to use QRIS within the Expectation Confirmation Model under increasing digital payment adoption. It advances ECM by demonstrating a boundary condition where transaction frequency fails as a moderator, repositioning satisfaction as the dominant post-adoption mechanism over behavioral intensity. Using survey data from 150 MSMEs in Indonesia and SmartPLS4 analysis, the results show that ESE enhances perceived usefulness, which significantly drives continuance intention through satisfaction, while transaction frequency is insignificant. These findings support habit formation and technology embeddedness perspectives, indicating that repeated use loses explanatory power once usage stabilizes. Continuance decisions are therefore primarily affect-driven rather than behavior-driven. The study implies that policymakers and fintech providers should prioritize system reliability and user satisfaction rather than merely increasing transaction frequency to sustain QRIS adoption.
