Abstract

The purpose of this study is tostudying and obtaining a combination of coffee skin compost and npk fertiliser that is able to provide the highest results on the growth and yield of cayenne pepper plants (Capsicum frutescens L). The experimental design was design used is a single-factor Randomised Group Design (RGD) consisting of 5 treatments in 5 replications consisting K0 (NPK 500 kg/ha); K1 (Coffee Peel Compost 7 tonnes/ha + NPK 450 kg/ha); K2 (Coffee Peel Compost 8 tonnes/ha + NPK 400 kg/ha); K3 (Coffee Peel Compost 9 tonnes/ha + NPK 350 kg/ha); K4 (Coffee Peel Compost 10 tonnes/ha + NPK 300 kg/ha).The data obtainedwere analyzed by variance, and if the results was significant, then to find out the best treatment continued with the DMRT (Duncan Multiple Range Test) further test at the 5% level.Theresultsshowedthe provision of various combinations of coffee skin compost and npk fertiliser gave a significant effect on the growth of stem diameter and number of leaves but had no significant effect on plant height. However, it has a significant effect on the number of fruits per plant, fruit weight per plant and fruit weight per bed. The K3 treatment (combination of 9 tonnes/ha coffee skin compost + 350 kg/ha NPK) was able to provide the best growth on stem diameter 28 dap, number of leaves 21 dap and 28 dap. Meanwhile, Treatment K4 (coffee skin compost 10 tonnes/ha + NPK 300 kg/ha) was able to give the best results on the number of fruits per plant and fruit weight per plant. While treatment K1 (coffee skin compost 7 tonnes/ha + NPK 450 kg/ha) obtained the best results on the average weight of fruit per bed of 1,134.38 grams/bed or 2.26 tonnes/ha. Keywords:Cayenne Pepper, Coffee Peel Compost, NPK Fertilizer

Abstract

Marigold (Tagetes patula L.) is an ornamental plant that has benefits in various sectors. The quantity of marigold flower production is related to the cultivation technique used. Soil conditions also affect the level of plant fertility. This can be overcome by means of fertilization. The aim of this study was to obtain a combination of doses of cow manure and bricket organic fertilizer concentration which gave the highest growth and yield of marigold plants (Tagetes patula L.) var French Petite Orange. The research was conducted at the Soursop Gardens of Casamora, City Parks and Forest Service, Ciganjur, Jagakarsa, DKI Jakarta in March - June 2023. The research method used was an experimental method with a Single Factor Randomized Block Design (RBD) consisting of 5 treatments repeated 5 time. The treatment consisted of A (0 ton/ha Cow Manure + 0 ml Organic Fertilizer Briquette) (control), B (15 ton/ha Cow Manure + 1.5 ml/liter of water Briquette Organic Fertilizer), C (20 ton/ha Manure Cattle + 1.5 ml/liter of water Organic Fertilizer Briquettes), D (15 tons/ha Cow Manure + 3 ml/liter of water Organic Fertilizer Briquettes), E (20 tons/ha Cow Manure + 3 ml/liter of Briquette Organic Fertilizer water ). The results showed that there was a significant effect of giving a combination of doses of cow manure and briquette organic fertilizer concentration in treatment E (20 tons/ha of cow manure + 3 ml/liter of water of briquette organic fertilizer) on flower diameter (32.49 mm), number of flowers (7.47), the number of branches (6.07) the yield of fresh weight of flowers (10.19 g), the yield of dry weight of flowers (3.74 grams), the yield of total fresh weight of plants (192.69 g), and the yield of dry weight total plant (54.55 g).

Abstract

Lettuce is one of the vegetable crops which has good economic value and good market prospects to be cultivated by Indonesian people. We know we had a lot of switched agricultural land that it makes our agricultural land is being decreased. A solution of this problem is usingthe hydroponic technique with wick system inside. The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of te types combination and wick amount of the highest hydroponic wick system, and to obtain the highest growth and yield of Maritima variety green lettuce (Lactuca Sativa L.). A method which used in this research is Randomized Block Design (RAK) Single Factor consisting 9 treatments and 3 replications. Treatment A (Flannel Fabric + 2 Axis), B (Flannel Fabric + 3 Axis),C (Flannel Fabric + 4 Axis), D (Wool Fabric + 2 Axis), E (Wool Fabric + 3 Axis), F (Wool Fabric + 4 Axis),G (Coconut Coir + 2 Axis), H (Coconut Coir + 3 Axis) and I (Coconut Coir + 4 Axis). The impact of treatment being analyzed using the F test at a significant 5% level, to find out the best treatment it was continued with the Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at a 5% level. The results showed that the type and number of axes significantly affected the growth and development of lettuce (Lactuca Sativa L.). Treatment F (Wool Fabric + 4 Axis) gave the highest yield of plant height at 42 hst was 18.80 cm, number of leaves at 42 hst was 14.53 leaves, leaf area at 42 hst was 154.54 cm2and weight fresh fruit per plant at 42 hst was 137.28 g.Key words: Lettuce, Axis Type, and Number of Axis.

Abstract

Green mustard (Brassica juncea L.) is a vegetable plant that is much needed by the community. One of the factors causing the decline in mustard greens production is due to the community's need for mustard greens which is quite high along with population growth which continues to grow and the harvested area for mustard greens is decreasing. The development of mustard greens produced generally still uses inorganic fertilizers so that it is not yet oriented towards organic products or manure. Quail droppings can cause environmental pollution so that it becomes a solution to be used as manure. This study aims to obtain a combination of doses of manure, quail manure and NPK which gives the highest yield for the growth and yield of mustard greens (Brassica juncea L.) Tosakan F1 variety. The research was carried out in an experimental field located at Jalan DarmaBakti, Curug Village, Kiara Residence, West Bogor District, Bogor City. The research site is located at an altitude of 195 meters above sea level. The research took place from December 2021 to February 2022. The research method used was a single factor Randomized Group Design (RBD) consisting of 9 treatments and 3 replicates: A (Control), B (15 tons/ha of manure), C (250 kg /ha NPK), D (5 tons/ha manure + 200 kg/ha NPK), E (10 tons/ha manure + 200 kg/ha NPK), F (15 tons/ha manure + 200 kg/ha NPK), G (5 tonnes/ha of manure + 150 kg/ha of NPK), H (10 tonnes/ha of manure + 150 kg/ha of NPK) and I (15 tonnes/ha of manure + 150 kg/ha of NPK). Data were analyzed using the F-test analysis at the 5% level if there was a significant effect followed by the DMRT (Duncan Multiple Range Test) advanced test at the 5% level. The results of this study showed no significant effect of giving a combination dose of quail manure and NPK on the growth and yield of mustard greens (Brassica juncea L.) of the Tosakan F1 variety. Keywords: Mustard green variety Tosakan F1, quail manure fertilizer, NPK fertilizer.

Abstract

The use of organic matter to increase the growth and yield of apple cucumber plants. The research was carried out in Pasirjengkol Village, Majalaya District, Karawang Regency from March 2023 to May 2024. The method used was a single-factor Group Random Design (RAK) with 7 treatments, 4 replicates and 2 plant samples, so that there were 56 experimental units consisting of: A (control), B (Goat manure 20 tons/hectare + Trichoderma 15 g/plant), C (Goat manure 20 tons/hectare + Trichoderma 20 g/plant), D (Goat manure 20 tons/hectare + Trichoderma 25 g/plant),  E (Goat manure 40 tons/hectare + Trichoderma 15 g/plant), F (Goat manure 40 tons/hectare + Trichoderma 20 g/plant), G (Goat manure 40 tons/hectare + Trichoderma 25 g/plant). The results of the experiment were tested with the F test, if it had a real effect, it was further tested by the Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at the level of 5%. The results showed that the treatment had a real effect on plant growth and yield. G treatment (Goat manure 40tons/hectare + Trichoderma 25 g/plant) gave the highest yields for tendril length (137.875cm), stem diameter (3.575 mm), number of leaves (47 pieces), fruit weight (128.35 grams), number of fruits (5 pieces), and fruit sweetness (13.85 brix). Keywords: goat manure, trichoderma, apple cucumber
