Abstract

Basic Python programming training at Batam Adventist Vocational School aims to improve students' digital literacy to prepare them for the information technology era. This activity was motivated by students' low understanding of programming and the need for digital skills in the workplace. The implementation method was carried out through face-to-face workshops, hands-on practice, and simple project-based evaluations. The results showed a significant increase in students' understanding of basic Python concepts, logical skills, and motivation to learn programming further. This training is expected to be the first step in building a technology-literate generation ready to face the challenges of the Industrial Revolution 4.0.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun sebuah sistem antrian sekolah berbasis Android yang menerapkan teknologi Quick Response (QR) Code serta algoritma First In First Out (FIFO) guna menciptakan proses layanan yang lebih tertib, transparan, dan efisien di lingkungan sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengembangan Agile dengan pendekatan Scrum. Sistem dirancang menggunakan arsitektur client-server, di mana antarmuka pengguna dikembangkan dengan framework Flutter dan manajemen data ditangani secara terpusat menggunakan Node.js, Express.js, dan MongoDB. Pengujian sistem dilakukan menggunakan metode Black Box Testing untuk memverifikasi kesesuaian fungsionalitas terhadap kebutuhan pengguna. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem berfungsi secara valid sesuai dengan spesifikasi yang ditetapkan. Implementasi algoritma FIFO berhasil mengotomatisasi pengurutan layanan berdasarkan waktu kedatangan (timestamp) sehingga menghilangkan potensi penyerobotan antrian. Fitur pemindaian QR Code terbukti meningkatkan kecepatan validasi data secara signifikan dan menyediakan transparansi informasi status antrian secara real-time kepada pengguna. Sistem antrian berbasis Android dengan teknologi QR Code dan prinsip FIFO yang dikembangkan dalam penelitian ini mampu menciptakan pengalaman layanan yang lebih kondusif, tertib, dan efisien bagi siswa, orang tua, serta pihak sekolah. Sistem ini direkomendasikan untuk diimplementasikan guna mendukung digitalisasi layanan di lingkungan pendidikan.

Abstract

Deploying object detection models on resource-constrained devices requires balancing high accuracy with computational efficiency. This research analyzes the performance trade-off of hybrid architectures combining MobileNet backbones (V2, V3-Small, and V3-Large) with YOLO detectors. The study employs an experimental method using the Pascal VOC dataset across four input resolutions ranging from 320 to 640 pixels to measure Mean Average Precision (mAP@50) and Frames Per Second (FPS). The results demonstrate a significant trade-off between precision and speed. MobileNetV3-Large at 640px achieves the highest accuracy of 58.5% mAP, making it suitable for precision-critical tasks. Conversely, MobileNetV3-Small at 320px proves to be the most efficient model, achieving 165.2 FPS on a GPU and maintaining real-time performance on a standard CPU at 30.4 FPS. These findings provide empirical guidance for selecting optimal hybrid architectures based on specific hardware constraints, proving that MobileNetV3-Small is the superior choice for low-power edge implementation.

Abstract

Employee performance evaluation is an essential activity in manufacturing industries to maintain productivity and product quality. Conventional evaluation methods are often subjective and less effective when performance assessment involves multiple criteria and uncertain data. This study aims to design and implement a web-based employee performance evaluation system using the Fuzzy Multi-Criteria Decision Making (Fuzzy MCDM) method. Employee performance is assessed based on two main criteria: work quantity, measured by production output against dynamic targets, and work quality, measured by the number of defective products. The Fuzzy MCDM approach is applied through fuzzification, weighting, aggregation, and defuzzification processes to produce objective and adaptive performance scores. The system is developed using PHP and MySQL for data processing, while HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Chart.js are used for interface design and performance visualization. The results show that the system is able to calculate performance scores accurately and present evaluation results clearly through graphical representations. The proposed system can support effective performance monitoring and data-driven managerial decision-making in manufacturing environments.
