Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of good governance principles as an effort to improve the quality of local democracy in Asahan Regency in 2024. The reform and implementation of regional autonomy has changed the relationship between provincial and district/city governments to no longer be hierarchical. This change gave rise to strong regional egocentrism and had an impact on the deviation of the meaning of democracy. Local democracy is often used as a means of justifying anarchist practices in the name of freedom. In fact, the achievement of good governance requires quality democracy, characterized by freedom, equality, and strong institutional capacity. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through Focus Group Discussion (FGD) and data analysis using triangulation. The state of the art research focuses on three main indicators: civil liberties, political equality, and the capacity of democratic institutions. The results of the study show that Asahan Regency has implemented the principles of good governance well. This is reflected in the improvement of the quality of local democracy, broad public participation, government accountability, and the strengthening of democratic institutions at the district level. These findings underscore the importance of integration between good governance and local democratic development.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat pendidikan dalam membentuk perilaku politik masyarakat pada Pilpres 2024 di Kelurahan Karang Berombak, Kecamatan Medan Barat. Adapun permasalahan dalam penelitian ini rendahnya partisipasi politik di Kelurahan Medan Barat. Sehingga penelitian ini penting dilakukan agar mengetahui faktor apa yang memengaruhi rendahnya partisipasi politik di Kelurahan Karang Berombak, Kecamatan Medan Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan sosiologis dalam melihat perilaku politik masyarakat di Kelurahan Karang Berombak. Adapun salah satu elemen dari pendekatan sosiologis adalah Pendidikan. Pendidikan memiliki peran yang signifikan dalam membentuk perilaku politik. Hal ini dilihat dari 16.650 partisipasi politik masyarakat di Kelurahan Karang Berombak, Kecamatan Medan Barat pada Pilpres 2024. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif yang melibatkan 25 informan dipilih secara purposive sampling untuk dapat menganalisis perilaku politik Masyarakat di Kelurahan Karang Berombak. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi dan dokumentasi. Validasi data menggunakan metode triangulasi data. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara penulis dengan 25 informan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa tingkat pendidikan tidak memiliki peran yang signifikan terhadap partisipasi politik dalam Pilpres 2024 di Kelurahan Karang Berombak Kecamatan Medan Barat. Dari 25 informan yang diwawancarai, sebanyak 13 informan tidak menggunakan hak pilihnya, menariknya, latar belakang Pendidikan informan yang tidak memilih tersebut bervariasi, namun mayoritas memiliki Pendidikan terakhir SMA hingga Sarjana. Hanya 1 informan berpendidikan SD dan 3 informan yang berpendidikan SMP yang tidak memilih. Hasil menunjukan bahwa tingkat pendidikan, baik Pendidikan dasar maupun menengah keatas, tidak secara langsung mempengaruhi Keputusan untuk memilih atau tidak dalam pilpres 2024.

Abstract

The implementation of the e-learning teaching and learning process using commercial media still has limited access and some focuses on the knowledge aspect, so that it becomes an obstacle for teachers in assessing aspects of students' attitudes and character. This article aims to describe the development of a blended learning platform in order to develop students' readiness to use the internet as a learning mode in the era of internet-based technology openness. The research method used in this study is a qualitative research method with a case study approach. Through the object of research teachers and students. Obtaining data by observation, documentation study and focus group discussion were then analyzed by data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that there is user readiness in accessing the LMS platform through optimal use of GL 4.0, the establishment of teachers presenting KBM planning in virtual managerial has been achieved by being shown to be able to prepare and upload learning resources (teaching materials and enrichment materials), assessment of student achievement and interaction. and communication of teachers with students or students with colleagues. GL 4.0 provides a space for teacher creativity so that the learning space is facilitated properly and is fun for students. Teachers in the maturity of mixed learning management between online and offline (blended learning) are the main requirements to be able to carry out these learning activities . The conclusion is that GL 4.0 is the platform of choice for blended learning KBM adaptation in schools because the simplicity of the platform makes it easy for users to complete media attributes or features that facilitate the conditions for blended learning to take place.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji tentang aktualisasi kekuatan peran ganda perempuan dalam rumah tangga sebagai upaya meningkatkan ekonomi keluarga di Desa Selemak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Data primer seperti observasi dan wawancara. Sedangkan data sekunder seperti buku, artikel jurnal, internet, Rencana Pembangunan Jangka Menegah Desa, dan lainnya. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran pedagang sayur perempuan Pasar Andan Sari Desa Selemak dalam rumah tangga mencakup peran sebagai istri, peran sebagai ibu, dan peran sebagai individu yang mandiri. Aktualisasi kekuatan peran ganda perempuan dalam rumah tangga sebagai upaya meningkatkan ekonomi keluarga di Desa Selemak dapat dilihat dari empat hal yaitu: perempuan dapat bekerja, perempuan dapat menjadi seorang intelektual, perempuan dapat bekerja untuk mencapai transformasi sosialis masyarakat, dan perempuan sebagai kekuatan ekonomi

Abstract

The Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program, launched in 2019, provides students opportunities to strengthen their professional competencies through direct engagement in the real world. Within this framework, civic engagement is essential, as it encourages students to actively participate in community-based activities that support their academics and social responsibilities. This study analyzes how students develop soft skills and teaching professionalism through MBKM activities. This qualitative descriptive study involved students of the Pancasila and Citizenship Education Department at Medan State University, class of 2019–2021, who had participated in MBKM programs such as Kampus Mengajar (Teaching Campus), student exchange programs, and internships. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed using an interactive model. The research findings indicate that civic engagement integrated into MBKM improves adaptability, leadership, communication, collaboration, and innovation, while instilling civic values and professional ethics. This study recommends systematically institutionalizing civic engagement in teacher education curricula to ensure holistic and sustainable outcomes.
