Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran mobile learning (M-Learning) pada materi getaran dan gelombang dengan menerapkan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) untuk siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 7 Kota Ternate, serta menelaah kelayakan media yang dikembangkan, hasil belajar siswa, dan tanggapan guru serta siswa terhadap penggunaan media tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE yang meliputi tahap analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas tiga validator ahli (ahli media, ahli materi, dan ahli bahasa), tiga guru fisika, serta 20 siswa kelas VIII. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket penilaian dan tes hasil belajar berupa pretest dan posttest. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan skala Likert untuk menentukan tingkat kelayakan, respon pengguna, dan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media M-Learning materi getaran dan gelombang berbasis Problem Based Learning yang dikembangkan dinyatakan sangat layak untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Validasi oleh ahli media memperoleh persentase sebesar 88%, ahli materi sebesar 77%, dan ahli bahasa sebesar 94%, yang seluruhnya berada pada kriteria sangat layak. Respon guru terhadap penggunaan media berada pada kategori sangat baik dengan persentase 87%. Selain itu, hasil belajar siswa menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan setelah menggunakan media M-Learning, sehingga dikategorikan sangat tinggi. Respon siswa terhadap media pembelajaran juga berada pada kategori sangat baik dengan persentase sebesar 88%. Dengan demikian, M-Learning berbasis Problem Based Learning efektif digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi getaran dan gelombang.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the similarities and differences between French language and Indonesian language through a contrastive analysis approach focusing on phonology, morphology, and syntax. At the phonological level, the main differences lie in the vowel and consonant systems, nasalization, stress patterns, and the pronunciation of final sounds. In terms of morphology, French exhibits a complex inflectional system, including verb conjugation and grammatical marking of gender and number, whereas Indonesian tends to be agglutinative, employing affixation without significant morphological changes based on gender or number. Syntactically, both languages generally follow a Subject–Predicate–Object (SPO) structure; however, they differ in noun phrase structure, article usage, agreement, and adjective placement. The findings indicate that these structural differences may cause linguistic interference in foreign language learning, particularly for Indonesian learners of French. This research is expected to contribute to the field of contrastive linguistics and foreign language teaching.

Abstract

This article describes the design and preliminary field testing of using a gamification-application with random model in the learning process of interference and diffraction topics for pre-service physics teachers (PPT). The gamification-application in this research is called OpticalGamification (OG) featuring random model. This research is a quasi-experimental research with a time-series design involving 34 PPT at a university in the city of Jakarta, Indonesia. Data related to the PPT’ concept mastery are collected through test instruments in the form of 50 questions which are an integration of multiple-choice questions, reasoned multiple-choice questions, and essays. This research resulted in a product called OG with random model with several features, including profiles, gamification, forums, achievement pages, projects and leaderboard. The result of preliminary field testing of using the OG with random model shows that the PPT’ concept mastery has increased from series 1 to the next following series.
