Abstract

This study aimed to determine the differences in student learning outcomes between the application of the Guided Discovery Method with the Constructivism Learning Model and Conventional Learning in improving students' understanding of integers in Class VII at SMP Negeri 3 Tondano. This research was a quasi-experimental study with a two-group pretest-posttest design. The population of this study was seventh-grade students, and the samples in this study were VII A as the experimental class, consisting of 25 students, and VII B as the control class, consisting of 22 students, at SMP Negeri 3 Tondano in the 2024/2025 academic year. The research results revealed that there was a significant difference in the average learning outcomes of students taught using the Guided Discovery Method with the Constructivism Learning Model compared to students taught using Conventional Methods. Based on the above results, it is concluded that the application of the Guided Discovery Method with the Constructivism Learning Model can improve students' understanding of integers in Class VII at SMP Negeri 3 Tondano. Thus, the Guided Discovery Method with the Constructivism Learning Model was proven effective in improving students' learning outcomes.

Abstract

In the paper [1], it was given a function which belongs to the bounded Stummel modulus classes but not in Stummel classes. The given proof of this function properties in that paper was not obvious and very concise. By using the countable linearity property of integral, polar coordinate of integration, other properties of Lebesgue measure and integration, and some observation on the geometric property of the open ball in Euclidean spaces, we prove in detail the properties of this function.

Abstract

Let n-2<\lambda<n , f be a function in Morrey spaces L^{1,\lambda}(\Omega) , and the equation Lu=f u \in W^{1,2}(\Omega) be a Dirichlet problem, where \Omega is a bounded open subset of R^{n} , n \ge 3 , L and is a divergent elliptic operator. In this paper, we prove the existence and uniqueness of this Dirichlet problem by directly using the Lax-Milgram Lemma and the weighted estimation in Morrey spaces

Abstract

Let be a bounded open subset of , , be a function in Stummel classes , where , and be a semilinear monotone elliptic equation, where is symmetric matrix, elliptic, bounded, and is non decreasing and Lipschitz. By proving a weighted estimation for a function in Stummel class with its weight in , which allows us to use Stampacchia’s lemma, we obtained the existence and uniqueness of the solution of this equation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran menggunakan model Problem Based Learning dengan Pendekatan Open Ended pada materi Segiempat dan segitiga yang valid, praktis dan efektif. Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh pentingnya perangkat pembelajaran disusun sesuai dengan tujuan yang akan dicapai. Metode dalam penelitian ini tergolong penelitian pengembangan dengan subjeknya diambil dari siswa kelas VIIB SMP Advent 1 Tikala sebanyak 31 siswa. Hasil kepraktisan perangkat pembelajaran diperoleh dari hasil kemampuan guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran yang di kategorikan baik dalam interval 3 ≤ P < 4, angket respon siswa sebesar 73% respon positif. Keefektifan perangkat pembelajaran diperoleh dari Tes Hasil Belajar siswa yang nilai ketuntasan belajar siswa di atas 70. Berdasarkan analisis data dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa RPP, LKPD dan THB yang dikembangkan menggunakan model Problem Based Learning dengan pendekatan Open Ended pada materi Segiempat dan Segitiga siswa kelas VIIB telah memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis dan efektif. Hasil penelitian ini dpat disimpulkan: (1) Pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran matematika model pembelajaran problem based learning dengan pendekatan open ended pada materi Segiempat dan segitiga dikembangkan dengan menggunakan model pengembangan 4-D yang dimodifikasi yaitu: pendefinisian, perancangan, dan pengembangan yang menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran yang valid untuk materi Segempat dan segitiga yang mengacu pada model problem based learning dengan pendekatan open ended. Perangkat pembelajaran yang dihasilkan meliputi: rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran, Lembar Kerja Pesrta Didik, dan Tes Hasil Belajar, (2) Perangkat pembelajaran praktis untuk mengajarakan materi Segiempat dan segitiga menggunakan model problem based learning dengan pendekatan open ended, (3) Pembelajaran matematika menggunakan model problem based learning dengan pendekatan open ended pada materi Segempat dan segitiga di kelas VIIB SMP dapat dikatakan efektif, (4) Ketuntasan belajar secara klasikal pada THB sebesar 83,87% siswa tuntas secara individual.
