Abstract

To determine how much the exercise program success rate, a valid and reliable test tool is needed. In this study, the researcher aims to develop a smash skill test model in badminton. The method in this study is a development research method with a sample size of 121 athletes. The steps taken in this research include (1) preliminary study (literature study and field study), (2) planning (conducting analysis), (3) initial draft design, (4) validation of the draft, (5) testing of group products minor and revisions, (6) large group trials and revisions, (7) final results. This study involved academicians and badminton practitioners with an “excellent” rating, which reached an average score of 3.66. This result research is a product of the development of a smash skill test model in badminton. This study concludes that the smash skill test’s resulting form is valid and reliable, with a validity score of 0.688 and reliability of 0.870.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the importance of teacher body language and gestures in virtual meetings during online Physical Education learning in Elementary School. This research is qualitative descriptive research conducting a literature study. The steps taken were article compilation, data reduction, data analysis, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The researchers made an instrument for article determination criteria based on the PICOT criteria (Population, Intervention, Comparison, Outcome, and Time). The results of the study show that online learning, where the learning process could be carried out through video conferencing, could not only enable participants to interact through audio but also through an indirect face-to-face meeting. Nonverbal communication, including facial expressions and gestures, provided clear information from the speaker. Facial expressions, eye contact, physical appearance, and other aspects help the speaker express messages or information clearly. Facial expressions were more effective than other non-verbal cue modes. This research concludes that the online Physical Education learning in Elementary School implemented through virtual meeting media requires body language and gestures. The teacher should use special tricks in delivering practical learning materials delivered through virtual meetings.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of public speaking skills in preparation for field experience practice programme especially prospective of Physical Education Sport & Health teachers. The field experience practices is the programme expecting to form the prospective teachers who have the competencies required to become professional Physical Education Sport & Health teachers. The method used is descriptive qualitative by conducting a study of earlier research literature with the criteria for selecting articles based on PICOT. PICOT criteria consist of population, intervention, comparison, outcome and time. The results of the study show that public speaking skills play an important role on implementation of field experience practice for mastering the class with vocals and manage the class from the opening of the lesson to the closing activity. In addition, public speaking skills are useful for other incidental activities at school. For example are leading a meeting, being an MC (master of ceremonies) at special events at school, art performances, sports championships, etc. This research concluded that the mastery of public speaking skills is very important as a prerequisite for field experience practice prospective of Physical Education Sport & Health teachers before being sent to practice school.

Abstract

Dalam beberapa dekade terakhir, peningkatan usia harapan hidup global telah mengakibatkan pertambahan jumlah lansia, yang sering menghadapi berbagai tantangan kesehatan seperti penyakit kronis, penurunan fungsi fisik, dan isolasi sosial.Pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kesehatan dan kualitas hidup lansia melalui program konseling pola hidup sehat dan senam lansia. Program dilaksanakan di Puskesmas Desa Tapa pada 22-23 Juni 2024, melibatkan 100 peserta lansia. Metode yang digunakan termasuk identifikasi kebutuhan, perancangan program, pengorganisasian sumber daya, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Hasil konseling dan senam lansia menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan lansia mengenai pola hidup sehat, termasuk nutrisi, hidrasi, manajemen stres, dan pentingnya tidur. Selain itu, senam lansia yang dilakukan secara rutin memperbaiki kebugaran fisik, kekuatan otot, kelenturan, dan keseimbangan, serta mengurangi nyeri sendi dan risiko jatuh. Program ini juga meningkatkan interaksi sosial dan kesehatan mental peserta. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa program ini memberikan dampak positif yang signifikan terhadap kesehatan dan kualitas hidup lansia. Untuk keberlanjutan dan perluasan manfaat, penting untuk melanjutkan dan mengembangkan program ini dengan dukungan dari pemerintah, komunitas, dan keluarga. Evaluasi berkelanjutan diperlukan untuk mengoptimalkan dampak program.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui validitas dan reliabilitas footwork ability test berbasis internet of things sebagai alat tes kelincahan pemain bulu tangkis. Beberapa pemain bulu tangkis diuji dengan menggunakan alat tes kelincahan footwork ability test, kemudian diuji dengan side step test. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 26 pemain bulu tangkis yang terbagi dalam dua tim yang berbeda. Pemilihan sampel dengan menggunakan teknik cluster sampling. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba, menunjukan bahwa footwork ability test valid dan reliabel jika digunakan sebagai pengukuran kelincahan pemain bulu tangkis. Tingkat validitas alat tes tersebut termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik, mencapai tingkat validitas 0.99 dan relibilitas 0.74 termasuk dalam kategori baik. Sehingga berdasarkan hasil tersebut, perangkat tes dapat direkomendasikan sebagai alat tes kelincahan footwork untuk pemain bulu tangkis

Abstract

Abstract: First Aid is the first method of providing assistance to people who have had an accident, injury, or illness. Sports injuries can occur due to trauma, force, technical errors, physical limitations, and sports equipment. Sports injuries involve tears in soft tissue such as fascia, muscle fibers, and ligaments. Teachers must have first aid knowledge and skills to deal with these incidents to minimize the increase in the severity of injuries. The method used in this activity is training with demonstrations and discussions as well as practical assistance. Community service activities were carried out in Banyuwangi Regency, with participants being physical education, sports, and health teachers. Through this activity, the Faculty of Sports & Health Sciences at Universitas Negeri Surabaya can provide positive use value in the form of service activities to improve human resources and partners. Participants' responses regarding the implementation of activities had an average rating of 4.4. Keywords: training; first aid; physical education teacher Abstrak: Pertolongan Pertama pada Kecelakaan (P3K) merupakan cara pertama pemberian pertolongan kepada orang yang mengalami kecelakaan, cedera, terluka atau sakit. Cedera olahraga dapat terjadi karena faktor trauma, ruda paksa, kesalahan teknik, keterbatasan fisik dan alat olahraga. Cedera olahraga berupa robek pada jaringan lunak seperti fascia, serabut otot dan ligamen. Guru harus memiliki pengetahuan dan keterampilan pertolongan pertama sehingga mengatasi kejadian tersebut untuk meminimalisir bertambanya tingkat keparahan cedera. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah pelatihan dengan demonstrasi dan diskusi serta pendampingan praktik. Kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan di Kabupaten Banyuwangi dengan peserta guru Pendidikan Jasmani Olahraga dan Kesehatan. Melalui kegiatan ini, Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan dan Kesehatan Universitas Negeri Surabaya dapat memberikan nilai guna yang positif dalam bentuk kegiatan pengabdian untuk meningkatan sumber daya manusia dan mitra. Respon peserta terkait pelaksanaan kegiatan yaitu dengan rata-rata penilaian 4.4 dari rentang 0-5. Kata Kunci: pelatihan; pertolongan pertama; guru pendidikan jasmani

Abstract

Program ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan potensi atlet bilyar pemula di Kabupaten Sidoarjo melalui pendekatan berbasis sport science. Sport science dapat memprediksi dan membandingkan hasil tes yang telah dilakukan, memantau hasil latihan yang telah dilakukan dan dapat digunakan sebagai pengambil keputusan, menetapkan tujuan, bila perlu dilakukan revisi program yang dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi bakat dan penetapan tujuan sebagai bahan pemberian motivasi bagi atlet. Metode pendekatan yang digunakan dalam kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini adalah dengan melalui workshop, pelatihan, pendampingan dan praktikum hasil kegiatan yang diselenggarakan secara offline dengan materi pelatihan teknis bilyar, penerapan prinsip sport science dan pembentukan karakter atlet melalui kegiatan berupa pelatihan intensif dan workshop. Atlet dapat mengoptimalkan keterampilan teknis mereka dan membangun karakter positif yang kuat. Program ini tidak hanya bertujuan untuk memberikan pondasi untuk mencetak atlet berprestasi dalam jangka panjang tetapi juga membentuk individu yang memiliki integritas, disiplin dan jiwa sportifitas yang tinggi.

Abstract

This study aims to identify innovations in physical education (PE) learning carried out by teachers. This study is a systematic review on the Google Scholar database. We set inclusion criteria, namely articles published in the last 5 years, the author is a teacher, and the searching keyword for the article is ‘innovation in physical education learning’. Therefore, any article wriiten by non-PE teachers was excluded, as it can be seen from the authors’ affiliation. The results of the study refer to the analysis of 13 articles that match the criteria, indicating that teachers have made innovations in physical education learning. The innovations include learning media, models, and methods. The Innovations were carried out to improve students’ learning outcomes in the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains, as well as to increase the students’ learning motivation. The learning environment designed by the teacher will affect the learning process and student learning outcomes. Finally, we suggest PE teachers to continuously make innovations, not only to improve learning outcomes, but also to provide memorable learning experiences at every meeting.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi temuan media kok gantung dalam upaya meningkatkan kemampuan peserta ekstrakurikuler bulutangkis dalam kemampuan pukulan lob forehand. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian praeksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, desain yang digunakan adalah one group pretest-posttest. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Negeri 16 Surabaya, yang berfokus pada ekstrakurikuler bulutangkis. Teknik untuk pengambilan sampel yaitu menggunakan teknik purposive sampling yaitu teknik pengambilan sampel berdasarkan kualitas dan tingkatan kemampuan pukulan lob forehand pada peserta ekstrakurikuler. Penentuan sampel dilakukan dengan memenuhi kriteria kemampuan pada peserta ekstrakurikuler yang kemampuan dibawah rata-rata, sehingga ditemukan jumlah sampel 32 peserta didik yang kemampuan pukulan lob forehand dibawah rata-rata. Untuk mendapatkan data digunakannya tes hasil belajar keterampilan dasar bulutangkis pukulan lob forehand yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan pukulan lob forehand dengan mengadaptasi dari instrumen tes keterampilan lob bertahan yang dikembangkan oleh (Hidayat, 2012). Dengan nilai validitas 0,74 dan reliabilitas 0,90. Dalam penelitian ini teknik analisis data yang digunakan terdapat uji Deskriptif, uji Normalitas dan uji Wilcoxon sebagai data yang berdistribusi tidak normal. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media kok gantung dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pukulan lob forehand. Merujuk pada hasil analisis uji Wilcoxon menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruhyang dihasilkan dari penerapan media kok gantung terhadap peningkatan keterampilan pukulan lob forehand hasil tersebut menunjukkan sig < a (0,000 < 0,05) yang artinya signifikan. Berdasarkan perhitungan persentase peningkatan seberapa besar pengaruh, maka dihasilkan analisis persentase peningkatan keterampilan sebesar 45,52 %.

Abstract

  Developing teacher professionalism is an important concern for the government as an education provider. Teachers have an important task and role, not only to provide scientific and technological information, but also to form attitudes and souls that are able to survive in the era of global competition among their students. Efforts to increase teacher professionalism are carried out through teacher certification programs, providing education and training for teachers, forming Focus Group Discussions in Teacher Working Groups and Subject Teacher Deliberations as well as always being productive in producing work in the field of education. One of the important self-development activities for teachers to participate in is related to writing scientific papers as a condition for employee promotion. The aim of this Community Service activity is to provide scientific literacy related to article writing as an effort to increase the professional competence of teachers in Probolinggo Regency. The methods used in this activity are workshops, offline and online training and assistance in completing tasks. Evaluation of the implementation of Community Service activity is based on filling out questionnaires by participants with an average score of 4.46 on a scale of 0-5. The result of this training is an increase in participants' knowledge of writing sports scientific articles.
