Abstract

This study examines the moderating effect of employee autonomy on the relationship between meaningful work and employee well-being in the context of employee experience. A literature review was used, combined with meta-analysis, to examine 95 publications from Scopus-indexed journals published between 2014 and 2023. The findings indicate that employee autonomy significantly moderates the relationship between meaningful work and employee well-being, which positively influences employee experience. In addition, employee well-being is identified as the most substantial factor affecting employee experience, followed by employee autonomy and meaningful work. This study emphasizes the importance of organizations providing autonomy to employees to improve their overall well-being and work experience. Theoretical and practical implications are emphasized for human resource management, especially in formulating policies that enhance employee engagement through meaningful work and empowerment. Future studies should investigate moderating factors, including organizational culture and leadership style, in more depth.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of understanding taxation, compliance costs on taxpayer compliance with the ease of the e-filing system as a moderating variable. The method used is a quantitative approach and uses individual taxpayers as the unit of analysis. The sample was taken using a purposive sampling technique and the criteria were taxpayers who already had an NPWP and had used the e-filing system as a tax return reporting process. The sample size was 104 respondents. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires through social media. The data was processed using SPSS version 22.0 and using multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The results showed that tax understanding has a significant positive effect on taxpayer compliance, compliance costs have a significant positive effect on taxpayer compliance, the ease of the e-filing system moderates tax understanding has a significant positive effect on taxpayer compliance, the ease of the e-filing system moderates compliance costs has a negative and insignificant effect on taxpayer compliance.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the influence of competence, motivation, and work discipline on employee performance with infrastructure as a moderating variable. The method used in this research is quantitative. In this study, the population was employees of the West Manggarai Regency, East Nusa Tenggara, with a total of 45 respondents. The data processing technique in this study uses multiple linear regression analysis and Moderating Regression Analysis (MRA) with the SmartPLS 03 application. The results of the research conducted show that competency and work discipline variables have a positive effect on employee performance, motivational variables do not affect employee performance while competency, motivation and work discipline variables using facilities and infrastructure variables do not affect employee performance.

Abstract

Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is one of the main indicators used to measure the economic condition of a country. Stable economic growth is crucial for achieving societal well-being; however, there are various factors that influence GDP fluctuations. Internal factors, such as ineffective fiscal and monetary policies, as well as external factors like changes in global economic conditions and geopolitical instability, can lead to instability in GDP growth. To improve GDP stability, appropriate fiscal and monetary policies, infrastructure investments, productivity enhancement, and the promotion of industry and the creative economy are necessary. This study employs two forecasting methods, namely Extreme Learning Machine (ELM) and Double Exponential Smoothing (DES), to analyze and predict economic growth based on historical GDP data. The results show that both methods can be used effectively to predict GDP growth, with ELM demonstrating superior ability in producing more accurate forecasts. By applying the right methods, it is expected that stable GDP growth can be achieved, leading to improved societal well-being and advancing the nation's progress.

Abstract

Food security is a critical global issue due to rapid population growth and the increasing impacts of climate change. This study aims to analyze food security and identify spatial patterns among regions in Central Sulawesi in 2022. A Spatial Lag X method was applied, enhanced with three distance weighting techniques: Inverse Distance Weighting (IDW), Exponential Distance Decay (EXP), and Double Power Distance (DPD). These were used to assess the spatial influence on food security data, sourced from the Central Sulawesi Statistics Bureau. The Spatial Lag X approach integrates neighboring regions’ variables to explain the dependent variable. The findings reveal that with IDW and EXP weights at a 10% significance level, no variables significantly influenced the Food Security Index. However, using DPD weights, Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) per capita at current prices (X4) significantly influenced the Food Security Index at a 10% level. The DPD-weighted Spatial Lag X model was identified as the best model for analyzing food security in Central Sulawesi in 2022, achieving an AIC value of 23.91885 and an R² of 0.9977. This study highlights the importance of spatial factors in understanding regional food security dynamics.

Abstract

Era digital telah mendorong adopsi pembayaran digital sebagai bagian dari kebiasaan transaksi modern. Digital payment menawarkan efisiensi, keamanan, dan kemudahan, yang semakin penting bagi masyarakat, termasuk pelanggan rumah makan di wilayah Seturan, Yogyakarta. Faktor persepsi keamanan (perceived security) dan persepsi kemudahan penggunaan (perceived ease of use) menjadi aspek krusial dalam memengaruhi kepuasan pelanggan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh ketersediaan digital payment, perceived security, dan perceived ease of use terhadap customer satisfaction di rumah makan wilayah Seturan. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan data primer yang dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner. Sampel terdiri dari 138 responden yang merupakan pelanggan rumah makan di wilayah Seturan. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan regresi berganda untuk mengidentifikasi hubungan antar variabel. Digital payment memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap kepuasan pelanggan, meskipun tidak signifikan secara statistik. Perceived security memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan, menunjukkan pentingnya rasa aman dalam transaksi digital. Perceived ease of use memberikan pengaruh paling signifikan, menunjukkan bahwa kemudahan penggunaan menjadi faktor utama yang memengaruhi kepuasan pelanggan. Perceived ease of use terbukti sebagai determinan utama kepuasan pelanggan dibandingkan faktor lainnya. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa pelanggan lebih menghargai pengalaman transaksi yang sederhana dan bebas hambatan daripada sekadar ketersediaan teknologi atau fitur keamanan tambahan. Kepuasan pelanggan dipengaruhi oleh kombinasi teknologi yang efisien, aman, dan mudah digunakan. Restoran di Seturan perlu memastikan integrasi pembayaran digital yang aman dan mudah diakses untuk menciptakan pengalaman pelanggan yang memuaskan, sekaligus meningkatkan loyalitas mereka

Abstract

This study focuses on assessing the risk of financial distress that may occur in media companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the Covid-19 pandemic period. The pandemic has significantly impacted various economic sectors, including the media sector, which faced severe pressure due to declining advertising revenues and shifts in consumer behavior towards digital platforms.  The research employs a quantitative approach using the Altman Z-Score method to project the potential bankruptcy of companies. The data analyzed consists of financial reports from media companies listed on the IDX during the pre-pandemic and pandemic periods, specifically from 2020 to 2022. The analytical technique utilized in this study involves multiple regression analysis.  The findings reveal that profitability, liquidity, and company size collectively influence financial distress. However, when analyzed individually, only liquidity has a positive impact on financial distress, while profitability and company size do not exhibit significant effects. These results are expected to provide insights into the financial conditions of media companies during the pandemic and identify factors contributing to the risk of financial distress. This information can serve as a guide for media company management, investors, and other stakeholders in developing strategies to mitigate bankruptcy risks in the future.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh return on asset (X1), return on equity (X2), dan earning per share (X3) berpengaruh terhadap return saham (Y) pada perusahaan manufaktur sub sektor otomotif yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2016-2021 Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan manufaktur sub sektor otomotif. Penelitian ini memakai sampling jenuh (Sensus) dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 7 perusahaan. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis desktiptif, analisis asumsi klasik, analisis regresi linier berganda, dengan pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji -t dan uji F. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa : (1) secara parsial variabel return on asset (X1) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap return saham. (2) secara parsial variabel return on equity (X2) berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap return saham. (3) secara parsial variabel earning per share (X3) tidak berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap return saham. (4) secara simultan variabel return on asset (X1), return on equity (X2) dan earning per share (X3) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap return saham.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how financial knowledge, financial attitudes, and financial well-being affect investment interest. Using primary data by distributing questionnaires through social media with a purposive sampling method, with 75 samples with the criteria of individuals living in the Special Region of Yogyakarta with the criteria of having a monthly income and being interested in investing. Data were processed using Partial Least Square (PLS) 4 to predict the relationship between variables. The results showed that financial well-being did not affect investment interest, but financial knowledge and attitudes had a significant positive effect on investment interest.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Bank Health Level using the RGEC method, Sustainability Report, and Company Size on Firm Value in state-owned banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period 2021-2023. The secondary data used includes financial reports and sustainability reports from four state-owned banking companies selected through purposive sampling method. The analysis was carried out using SPSS software with classical assumption tests, descriptive statistical tests, and multiple linear regression. The results showed that Bank Health Level has a negative and insignificant effect on Firm Value, Sustainability Report has a significant positive effect on Firm Value, while Company Size has a negative and insignificant effect on Firm Value.
