Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) dengan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi proses terhadap hasil belajar IPA peserta didik kelas VII SMPN 6 Bukittinggi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi experiment dengan rancangan Non Equivalent Control Group Design. Sampel penelitian terdiri atas satu kelas eksperimen yang memperoleh perlakuan dengan PBL berdiferensiasi proses dan satu kelas kontrol dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes hasil belajar, lembar observasi keterlaksanaan, serta angket respon peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan signifikan antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Rata-rata nilai posttest kelas eksperimen mencapai 72,68, sedangkan kelas kontrol hanya 62,49. Uji-t mengonfirmasi adanya pengaruh signifikan penerapan model tersebut. Selain itu, keterlaksanaan pembelajaran mencapai 97,42% dengan kategori sangat baik, dan respon peserta didik menunjukkan kecenderungan positif. Dengan demikian, penerapan PBL berdiferensiasi proses dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar sekaligus memotivasi peserta didik untuk lebih aktif dalam pembelajaran IPA.

Abstract

Penerapan prinsip etika lingkungan menjadi komponen penting dalam upaya mewujudkan kebijakan pembangunan yang berkelanjutan. Studi ini bertujuan mengkaji sejauh mana nilai-nilai etika lingkungan—seperti keadilan antargenerasi, tanggung jawab ekologis, dan hak-hak lingkungan—telah terintegrasi dalam perumusan dan implementasi kebijakan publik di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Systematic Literature Review (SLR) terhadap 11 artikel ilmiah terpilih dalam kurun waktu lima tahun terakhir. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa keberhasilan pembangunan berkelanjutan sangat bergantung pada adanya kerangka moral yang menempatkan lingkungan hidup sebagai entitas bernilai intrinsik, bukan semata objek eksploitasi ekonomi. Temuan juga menyoroti peran strategis komunitas adat dan kearifan lokal sebagai mitra dalam konservasi, serta pentingnya pendekatan ekosentris dalam kebijakan tata kelola sumber daya. Hambatan utama mencakup lemahnya kapasitas institusional, rendahnya kesadaran ekologis, dan dominasi kepentingan ekonomi-politik yang sering kali mengabaikan pertimbangan etis. Dengan mengedepankan prinsip etika lingkungan, pembangunan dapat diarahkan pada keseimbangan antara pertumbuhan ekonomi dan pelestarian ekosistem, yang berkontribusi pada pencapaian Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (TPB/SDGs). Studi ini merekomendasikan perlunya penyusunan kebijakan yang lebih inklusif dan reflektif terhadap nilai-nilai moral dan budaya lokal demi mewujudkan pembangunan yang adil dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Learning activities in natural science subject have considerable potential for development, particularly in creating a more engaging and communicative classroom environment through active student participation. The implementation of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model is expected to enhance students’ communication skills, as it encourages collaborative investigations, problem-solving, and discussion of results. This study aimed to examine the effect of the PBL model on students’ communication skills in learning the Earth and Solar System topic. The research was conducted at SMPN 1 Kec. Guguak over five weeks, from May to June 2024, involving 53 students selected through purposive sampling. The sample consisted of 26 students in the experimental class and 27 in the control class. A quasi-experimental method with a Post-test Only Control Group Design was employed. The indicators of communication skills assessed included oral communication, written communication, and interpersonal communication. Data were collected using a communication test comprising six essay questions that had been validated and tested for reliability. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics through the Mann-Whitney test with SPSS version 25. The results of the Mann-Whitney test showed a significance value of 0.044 (p < 0.05), indicating that H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that the PBL model has a significant effect on students’ communication skills.

Abstract

Penelitian yang dilakukan bertujuan guna menganalisis dampak penggunaan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing terhadap hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik kelas VII pada mata pelajaran IPA. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu dengan desain nonequivalent control group design. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari kelas eksperimen yang diberi perlakuan dengan model inkuiri terbimbing dan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes pencapaian belajar, lembar observasi, dan kuesioner tanggapan peserta didik. Temuan penelitian mengindikasikan bahwa terdapat pegaruh model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing terhadap hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik kelas VII pada materi IPA perbedaan signifikan hasil belajar antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Kelas eksperimen memperoleh rata-rata posttest yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol (Zhitung = 3,12 ≥ Ztabel = 2,01). Dengan demikian, model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing berpengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik pada materi IPA.

Abstract

This research is based on the preliminary study conducted at SMPN 16 Padang which found that students' learning outcomes in science teaching are still considered suboptimal. This is indicated by several students' scores that have not yet met the Learning Outcome Completion Criteria of 80. This research aims to determine the effect of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by PhET simulations on the learning outcomes of eighth-grade students at SMPN 16 Padang. The type of research is a quasi-experiment with a non-equivalent control group design. The population in this study is all the eighth-grade students of SMPN 16 Padang. Sample collection was conducted using purposive sampling techniques. Thus, the research samples were obtained from students in class VIII 2 and VIII 4. The research samples consisted of experimental class applying the Problem-Based Learning model assisted by PhET simulations and control class using the conventional learning model. Data collection was conducted through tests administered before (pretest) and after the treatment (posttest) on the experimental and control classes in the form of multiple-choice questions. The obtained data were analyzed using inferential statistical analysis, and the results of the two-sample t-test for the pre-test and N-gain were 0.002 for the pre-test significance and 0.000 for the N-Gain significance, which means  was rejected or there was a significant difference between the two groups because the significance value (p) was less than 0.05. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of the application of the PBL learning model assisted by PhET simulations on the learning outcomes of eighth-grade students in the subject of light and optical instruments.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to analyse the need for the development of science e-comic as learning media on earth and solar system topic. This research was conducted in 3 junior high schools in Sutera sub-district, based on the results of observations it is known that the school applies the kurikulum merdeka, and uses lecture and discussion methods in the learning process. However, there are obstacles that must be faced by teachers, namely the current package books/printed books are quite limited, so students have enough difficulty if they want to repeat learning material at home. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) using the 4-D development model. This research instrument consists of a validation questionnaire, a practicality questionnaire, and an effectiveness questionnaire. The data obtained were analyzed using a formula to analyze the results of the validity test, practicality test, and effectiveness test. Based on the above problems, researchers found the right and appropriate media to be developed and can be used easily by students and teachers, namely problem-based science e-comic learning media on earth and solar system material.

Abstract

Cooperative learning model type Teams Games Tournament (TGT) is one of the learning models that involve all student activities, peer tutors between students, containing games that can create fun learning. By applying the TGT model, students will be more motivated to learn and will be able to improve student learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to see the effect of cooperative learning model type Teams Games Tournament (TGT) on the material substance and changes to the learning outcomes of students in grade VII junior high school. This study is included in the type of Quasi-experimental research using a research design that is Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sampling technique used is Purposive Sampling. The sample consisted of one experimental class using cooperative model type TGT and one control class using lecture and discussion method. The instrument used is a written test with multiple choice questions. This study conducted statistical analysis with the help of Microsoft Excel. Based on the hypothesis test with the test U (Mann Whitney) diperolehkan zhitung value of 3.01 and ztabel of 1.96. Seen H1 accepted, so it can be concluded that the cooperative learning model type TGT has a significant influence on the learning outcomes of students in grade VII Junior High School on the material substance and its changes.
