Abstract

The presence of information technology has had an impact on changes in all aspects of Indonesian society's life, especially in the learning process. There are several learning strategies that teachers/lecturers can use in the technological era, including developing models, innovating and evaluating learning using digital media. With this technology era learning strategy, it is hoped that lecturers/teachers and students will find it easier to learn. This research aims to find out how to explore the combination of technology with learning strategies. This research method uses a systematic and iterative approach to gather a comprehensive understanding of topics related to technology, exploration of a combination of learning strategies. The conclusion of this research is that several effective learning strategies that involve technology are visualization, cooperative learning, and the use of technology in the classroom.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat literasi dan numerasi mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta sebagai fondasi dasar akademik. Permasalahan mendasar yang dihadapi mahasiswa PAI berkaitan dengan lemahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis berbasis bacaan dan pengolahan angka, yang berdampak pada performa akademik mereka di berbagai mata kuliah. Program ini dilakukan melalui pelatihan intensif selama tiga hari yang mencakup pembelajaran berbasis teks-teks keislaman dan konteks numerik dalam kehidupan sehari-hari mahasiswa. Melalui pendekatan partisipatif dan reflektif, peserta diarahkan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan memahami, menganalisis, dan menyajikan informasi dalam bentuk teks dan angka. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada kemampuan dasar literasi dan numerasi peserta, ditandai dengan perubahan strategi belajar serta peningkatan partisipasi aktif dalam diskusi akademik. Kegiatan ini diharapkan menjadi model pendampingan literasi-numerasi berbasis spiritualitas Islam di lingkungan pendidikan tinggi keagamaan.

Abstract

This research is a Mixed Methods research with a concurrent triangulation research design, The objectives of this study are: 1) To find out the picture of the arrangement of school laboratory governance after the application of student laboratory work (AKLAM) of the Physics Education study program UIN Alauddin Makassar in the Takalar and Bulukumba areas ”; 2) To find out the description of the use of school laboratories after the application of student laboratory work (AKLAM) of the Physics Education study program UIN Alauddin Makassar in the Takalar and Bulukumba areas"; 3) To find out what contributions have been obtained by the school after the implementation of the Student Laboratory Work Application (AKLAM) of the physics education study program of UIN Alauddin Makassar in the Takalar and Bulukumba areas". Thefocus of this research is one Madrasah Aliyah and one junior high school usingquestionnaires in the form of checklist sheets and interview sheets, the results of the analysis obtained are: 1) for post-AKLAM governance there are two schools that are still sufficient in accordance with school laboratory standards and there is one school that is no longer in accordance with school laboratory standards; 2) for utilization post-AKLAM laboratory, namely the use of the laboratory as a practicum place is still maintained; 3) for the contribution obtained by each post-AKLAM school is very positive

Abstract

This study analyzes the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in fostering students' mental development at SMP Negeri 2 Indralaya Selatan, examines the challenges encountered, and evaluates the outcomes of teachers' efforts in enhancing students' mental well-being. Employing a qualitative approach, this research involves observation, interviews, and documentation to gather comprehensive data on students' experiences and teachers' interventions. The findings reveal that PAI teachers play a crucial role in students' mental development through spiritual guidance and religious activities such as congregational prayers, religious extracurricular programs (rohis), lectures, and moral discussions. These activities assist students in managing emotions, building self-confidence, and shaping positive behavior. Teachers serve as role models in character development, imparting religious values to reinforce students’ moral foundations. Furthermore, PAI teachers encourage active participation in religious activities, which significantly influences students' social interactions and academic performance. However, several challenges persist, including students' reluctance to be open, low learning motivation, and negative social influences. Despite these challenges, students demonstrate behavioral improvements such as increased discipline, honesty, patience, empathy, and greater engagement in religious and academic activities. The study concludes that PAI teachers play a vital role in shaping students’ mental well-being by instilling strong religious values and continuously reinforcing positive character development. Their professional and dedicated approach ensures that students are better equipped to navigate social and academic pressures, fostering overall personal growth.
